Would love to see a comparison between the Shark/Dyson/Curlsmith dryers with attention to the weight of the whole dryer, the different depths of the bowls of the diffuser, whether the size of the prongs make a difference, like for root lift and such.
Yes, please do a video comparing the Dyson, Shark and Curl Smith dryers. Specifically detailing the weight, noise level, drying time and heat settings (comfort). I find my Dyson to be very hot (even on low heat) and it overheats and shuts off before I can finish. Thank you so much!

I bought - and returned - the Shark because the lowest heat setting was still WAY too hot for my hair, and the only way to get a decent temp was to keep pumping the cool shot button. I’m intrigued by the heat/UV protectant but I have to watch out for protein overload. Because it simulates kerotin do you think it would function as a protein product??
I would love to see the Curlsmith diffuser compared to the Xtava Black Orchid. Or does the Orchid fit the hairdryer? I’m looking for a new hairdryer and had been leaning toward Shark until this came out. My hair loves the lotus type diffusers.
It looks the same size as the black orchid diffuser with a bowl around the outside bottom of it. Other than that outer shell, it even looks like the exact same shape.

I don't think I can ever go back to that style of dryer after using the Shark... simply because I have short arms and the Shark is so much easier to hold. I will say, however, that the little kickstand feature on this one is pretty nifty. I'm definitely concerned about the depth of the bowl. And for me, personally, it seems unnecessarily big and clunky. I can just see myself smacking myself in the head or face with that. 😂
I am still over here being bummed that Helen Of Troy just bought Curlsmith.😭 I've been in the wavy hair world for 12 years and have watched this happen over and over. First the buyout company makes "label changes" then "packaging changes" and then the ingredients change. Hope I am wrong with Curlsmith products.. I LOVE Miracle Shield! I use it as a refresh spray. I also LOVE my Shark dryer/diffuser!

I think I saw India Batson using either this exact dryer or something similar! I've been wondering where to get such a big diffuser and that one looks amazing! And the fact that it's lightweight sounds amazing!
Hmmmmm. The diffuser is certainly wide enough. But it appears to shallow for me. I prefer deeper diffuses that cup your hair with longer prongs. They're on the right track though. Is it removable so you can use it just as a blow dryer? And did you say the heat protectant had protein in it? Darn. Can you recommend one without protein?
@@SwavyCurlyCourtney I just had surgery on my wrist so I've only played with it with heat a couple times before that but it does wonders for softness and touchability(may not be a word?) On air dried hair as well! And smells so so good

I disagree about silicones. They do not build up on hair. Silicones in hair care products are water soluble and wash away with a quality shampoo. I’ve been using them forever and my hair is just fine.

If you bought it from Shark they have a money back guarantee (at least mine did). I returned mine because it got too hot for my taste.
