- As a busy year in a boom season winds down, the San Juan West acquires two new stablemates to keep service running smoothly. Sidney, formerly Southern Pacific 2479, is seen by three certain mainline locomotives as a threat to their highly coveted passenger train duties.

We're just as glad that someone remembered him.
He’s not the only one. In fact, I remember watching The Bridge Line as a kid. It was a pleasant surprise to see Mike at the end, not to mention that certain Seeing TRAINZ episode.
God only knows. Brian never did get around to finishing it, in part because of life.

It’s like what they do in Thomas and friends. They always shoehorn a new character every now and then and don’t care if it replaces another. But in this case they ever probably thinking about later in the episode.

@@joneau261 i’d say both careers for the three were equally as good. both provided a good amount of line to run on, decent speeds, and like stated in the K&L special, beautiful parts of the world to run through.

I was very critical about this show because I was like “oh talking trains it’s just some TTTE stans who make train oc’s or whatever this show probably won’t be good at all” but I’m on this episode and I gotta say it’s actually pretty decent. Good job on this show

I will admit that the San Juan Trainz is pretty fun as long as there is no language or other inappropriate material.

Well the San Juan episodes that are currently on this channel are in the mid to late 90s, and in 2013 is when Craig, Nathan, and Frank came back, along with adding a few diesels to their roster.

Makes no sense to throw a Mohawk and two Mountain type engines away for a Pacific. Bruh moment. Not to mention the fact that even if the freight wines down, it will come back eventually, doing that will make things worse and maybe even send the company into bankruptcy because unreliability due to shortage of engines, and the public may not like the decision. And I've played Trainz before, based on the two Pacific's I own, against Mountain types...they don't perform well, especially on grades. It takes a long time for one of them to even start up a 5-car passenger train, but they do top out at 105 MPH after a bit, but I would not suggest them as primary locomotive for freight, nor passenger trains.

Probably not, because those ones are specific to the Friends of the 261 group. The originals were based on the Olympian Hiawatha, which are vastly different from the cars not original to the Milwaukee Road.

That was in the early 2010s from what I have heard and this takes place in the 70s (There’s basically a time line for the server)
