I have the same SeeLite manual pole for my Tracker. I use the Versa Track adapter plate though. And the same reason for the pole is using spotlock as well. I have lost numerous tension-er knobs though due to vibration both trailering and on the water running spot to spot. Thanks for the video!!!

That sucks to hear that. So far I haven't lost one yet. I do keep them pretty tight when not in use though. Thank you for watching! 🙂

Nice video, thanks for sharing. Thanks for the tip on the through bolt! I am looking to buy this unit for my new boat. What is your experience with this setup when the boat is moving? Any issues (Flexing) with speed with trolling motor speed? Using in river current? The pole setup I have now flexes too much when moving or in river current.

Thank you! I love this setup! I have fished the Mississippi River, high winds on Leech Lake (big lake) with 3 foot waves and zero flex. The only negative thing is the black coating faded on me but that doesn't bother me. A guy could bring it somewhere and have it powder coated and that would ensure less chance of fading. I am actually thinking about doing that myself.

will this work for a terrova as well? I see you have an ultrex. Can you explain the other mount you are going to get, and will it work on a Terrova as opposed to and ultrex? I have an older smaller boat 98 640lx, what size shaft do you have on your boat?

This pole mount will work on any boat because its mounted to the deck of your boat. You just need to know the height of the clearance you need. either an 8" or 14". This one is an 8" high base. SeeLite has a ton of information on their website so I encourage you to check them out too.
The other mount that I will be getting at some point is the Rite Hite Turret. This one I don't think will mount to a Terrova. This one you can steer with a foot pedal which is super nice.

Good video, Is it in your way while fishing?

Actually, it isn't and if I am fishing shallow, I just turn it to the horizontal position but still outside of the boat.
