I hate those biting flies too.....I react to the bites and they itch like crazy. I actually buy Bronco brand horse fly spray and it works well.

Is Minnesota home turf? When I was a kid in the 70's we would two weeks in August at Lake Carlos near Alexandria for about 6 or 7 years running. I imagine that was where the fishing bug first caught up to me.

There are some pretty fish in that lake!! The really green ones are so much pretty than the lighter ones.

Lol, glad I'm not the only one that gets scared when they get hooked on the outside of the mouth and using a bait with multiple treble hooks!! It sucks when it happens.

And that allows it to come up far enough to lock into place when stowed? I was under the impression you couldn’t run the cable like that because t wouldn’t slide like it needs to.

Dude the audio distortion in that intro was so harsh. It just about blew my ears out. It floats because it's elastopolomer and that bead on the hook is there to help keep the toad in place on the hook.

I def lack on lizard baits, I've got a pack of brush hawgs(i think) they look similar to those Netbait ones only smaller, but i haven't had a ton of luck on them but also never really gave them a fair chance. I definitely wasnt dragging them on bottom so ill have to give that a try 👌Thanks for the tips!

What lake are you on? The spots you were fishing look familiar. Also, can you say the name of the worm you were using?...couldn't quit make out what you said. And BTW, great video. I like the setup and how you were using the technique.

You definitely found some nice fish on the worm! If nothing else is working for me, I’ll throw a worm of some kind and usually start catching them!

Cool build man! I've recently started my first build on a 2015 express passenger so I've been brainstorming for weeks trying to decide what direction to go with the floor and what not. Very helpful to see a budget build similar to what I'm going for. Gonna check out more of your vids. I'm curious to see what you did about the air bags and how everything turns out. They have been getting choked by bass for years n years now!!

It’s the oil level sensor combined with the float inside the oil tank. The float inside is magnetized and interacts with the sensor. If the float loses enough of its magnetization, even if the sensor itself works, you will still get the 4 beeps. You can “fool” it while out on the water with an extra sensor on which you put some round magnets and connect to the sensor wiring - it fools the system into thinking the reservoir is filled. The only real fix is to replace the reservoir tank because the float is not serviceable. Just keep the sensor off the old tank and get round magnets on with tie wraps (Home Depot for the magnets) and keep in the boat as an emergency bypass if you get this problem. Just connect the sensor with magnets on it to the wiring and let it hang off to the side under the cowling until you get back and can replace the whole oil reservoir. It’s two wires and if memory serves, the polarity doesn’t matter. Just visually look and make sure the oil reservoir is actually full. With the new oil reservoir, you need to open the threaded cap as it’s filling a bit until it fully fills - you are effectively bleeding and burping it. There are some other YT videos about the oil sensor issue as well. Good luck
