Great video Matt I just got my LVS 34 in the mail last week After watching your video I immediately ordered a 0 Degree transom mount I also run a fishing specialties Paul as well.
I’m a fishing specialties pole guy as well. But I love their little ram mount for the livescopes. Had it on my 32 and then they made up a new bolt for the 34. I like a can go to perspective view with that mount. But if you don’t use perspective mode then yes that transom mount is awesome.
Quick question...do all of the transom mounts for the lvs34 come with those black, perforated insert pieces for securing the transducer when rotating? I don't see them on the images on line. Thx dude.

Thanks for this video. I am using the foot pedal livescanner with the garmin 8 degrees mount. Your right, I keep loosing my jigs. Can you tell me how I could attach the LVS 34 transoms mount to the live scanner? Thanks
Matt, could you swing the transom mount back and see how much bend the cable would bend. I think I would like it back more than way out front. I hope this makes sense..
Boat manufacturers should just have an insert at the bottom toward the front of boat on the hull. Would solve everyone's problem with mounting transducers and keep them out of harms way.
I own a 1548 Jonboat. I will have to shorten the pole I bet. Wonder if your promo code will still work? I am back and forth on trans. pole to purchase. I'm paying $3.k for lvscope bundle I am not going to DIY on the pole. ..... thought about it. Gonna get the lvscope plus w/ 1022

I try to keep the insert going into the transducer as straight as I can
do u have any finished picts of the LVS34 on the zero mount? Im interested in how you manage the wiring topside?

You can get a zero degree side mount for your live scanner.

Yes. It will swing back under the pole just fine.
What pole did you order? How is your handle extending up above where it fits into the holder.

Only possible drawback to this configuration is the loss of perspective mode I believe.
Yes, that is correct. I have never used perspective. I’m our area it is not useful.
