For Sparkies, I’d recommend the Wiha Speed E instead. 1000V rated and with two torque levels to protect smaller terminal screws. Much better ergonomics than Bosch, as well (I own both!)
I have the bosch go and find it brilliant when doing loads of sockets. Only problem with it, is its round I find it rolls off un level surfaces. Would be better hexagonal like wera screwdrivers. Also I would of preferred it to have a USB-C charge port
3 to 4 months on and had moderate daily use and its now stopped working, its been on charge all day and when you press the button the green light comes on but nothing happens
After i bought the Go 2.0 i also bought a bit adapter, from 1/4 inch to 4mm (usually called mini). Very expansive for the size and amount of work needed. 10 euros for a small piece of steel.
Right, you've convinced me to look at getting a Bosch Go now Nick, especially as there is a space in the NB100 for it 👍 Intact, I've just been in to B&Q where they've got it reduced to £45 (with a further £4.50 at the Trade Point counter) so naturally had to pick one up at that price
Have used Bosch Professional 12V System GSR 12V-20 HX Cordless Drill/Driver more than 2 years. It's mark number is the true torque NM indicated. I set at mark 2 for all the job, including socket ,light switch screw or unscrew and Consumer Unit pre screw use PZ/SL 2 or 1, never fail. all good. It is much more money cost than Go, but you can control the true torque, can not break the parts.
It's a tenner and more cheaper at Screwfix. (Just saying :) ) Is it practical to try and graduate the torque setting ring against "real" torque values? They are typically marked 1 to 10 or something but without any indication as to the physical tightening values.
🤣 Nick Gaz and Gordon at eFixx did a similar video were they test and compared the Bosh go 2 and a cheep £22. Handife, both had identical spec a torque range from 1Nm to 5Nm by the end of the test the Bosh was giving of smoke and was very hot , the handife was worm but not smoking and it put in one less screw then the Bosh, over all the handife was the better tool. Brought one and I can honestly say it is fantastic. Great video as always Nick👍👍👍❤️
Ive been using a VESSEL 220USBS1U (high speed) for around 6 months now, it has very low torque sooo you have to give it a quick turn to loosen or tighten before using the motor. but its 1200 rpm so its amazing for faceplate screws. I do testing and loads of the stuff i work on has like 75-100mm accessory screws and it beasts through them. Teamed it up with the new vessel 220usb-p1 (3 speed, all slow speeds) which has around 2nm of torque so good for rustier accessory screws etc. And tbh i barely use any normal drivers any more. Only really use normal drivers for like cooker/shower switches, and rcbos. both can be had off amazon jp for around 30 quid each. So a lot cheaper than the bosch and imo much better
He Nick great video oh and Adam. Could you do a video and a link to all the tools in you new nb tool bag? And can you get them in the Republic of Ireland? Thanks.
I’ve been using my Bosch Go for ages now. Great bit of kit and massive time saver on EICRs etc. Only issue I’ve found is to remember to keep the setting low for sockets/switches as I’ve cracked a couple in the past and had to replace them. 🤣 I’d like a better lock on it as well as I often knock it when putting it in my bag and start it spinning.
I had it in my head that your bag sells fully stocked, but as I am ordering one, it is just the empty bag hence the 100 quid price tag. How about you supply the complete tool list as you have it set up with yours then we can replicate it. Otherwise it is simply just a bag, nothing too special about it.
@@sammarshall2734 Good god no! At that price point? I'm not that retarded. The point I tried to make was that the bag was designed around specific tools and promoted and displayed fully kitted out with those exact tools down to the correct brand, model and type. So, the thought was it would be nice to buy it bespoke then it is truly a unique NB offering. Else it is just another bag of which there are plenty of other similar ones on the market without a premium price tag, which you can fill with whatever you want, including the cheap amazon specials. r/woosh
don't do that as an amazon seller, you cost small companies a fortune, as well as acting like a petty criminal, NB won't do that. And amazon do check returns, and your account will be flagged.
Been watching a few videos on the bosch go thinking I might like one but have saw a video of the bosch over heating and smoke billowing out of it on the efix channel... Incidentally the bosch go is cheaper in screwfix that amazon ua-cam.com/video/BPL1mn4ih9o/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/rUlT2YGolQY/v-deo.html a must watch just for the intro

I love my Bosch go! The only thing I'd change is a battery pack and charger rather than integral battery to minimise downtime
Iv had one for over a year now. Perfect for unscrewing accessories during eicr and fault finding.

Can you compare the Bosch one to WIHA one thing WIHA speed is better

now go find an old bloke with a screwdriver and he'll do those screws in 1 second flat, never underestimate an old bloke with a screwdriver
Like Adams bag. What voltage & continuity tester his he using?
I have that exact Bosch screwdriver. I've lost count of the number of times I've dropped it. Still works great.

I use the Bosch all the time for pipe brackets, really good tool. Only problems for me are how sensitive the button is and where it's positioned.
It's a tenner and more cheaper at Screwfix. (Just saying :) ) Is it practical to try and graduate the torque setting ring against "real" torque values? They are typically marked 1 to 10 or something but without any indication as to the physical tightening values.
bosch ixo o el bosch go? cual es mejor
anyone tried or using the DEWALT DCF680G2 MOTION ACTIVATED screwdriver?
i bought the cheaper one and bosch bit , it gets all the job done & all that at 1/2 the price of bosch electric screw driver
Nice side by side comparison between the tools and a good winner, look forward to seeing the next side by side.
You need to try Milwaukee m4

I'm happy with my GSR MX2Drive but they don't sell it anymore (don't know why) , if it ever breaks I guess I will go for a GO 🙂
Now come on we all know, when you ran over the cheap one ,Adam's Sarnie box had been put back in the van .
So is this suitable to use as a torque driver for fuseboards?
No mate always go round with a torque drive after 👍
@@NBundyElectrical which Torque drivers would you recommend?

Allways used Bosch. ( only hilti imo were better) …had makita , de Walt. .. allways went back to Bosch. …
would love to buy one of the bosh ones now
neither are expensive compared to the wiha speed e 2
i don't really need this, but i want one.
Amazon have just reduced the Bosch go down to £51.99 at that price it’s got to be worth a punt hasn’t it !
That’s the Bosch Go 2. I use a Go & a Go 2 👍⭐️⭐️ And paid about £35 each.
How to know if you got the Bosch go or the go 2? It's not on the box or on the device right?

Bosch if it was with gyroscopic technology it will be the top 👌
Still waiting for the competition to win a nice new Velocity NB100 bag 😋
Thanks for sharing this with us take care
Is that in the giveaway master Bundy great show of how to use the force !!
Great video, wanted to see the inside of both tho 😅😢
When we wanted something new for the workshop we put a tractor unit over it 😁
You need to get the craftsman, eats the Bosch for breakfast.
