We need to give Dehya the same treatment that Keqing mains did to Keqing. Completely unhinged and unwavering devotion that pushed them to find out every single possible way to make a character do good just because we like them.
You can really beat all content in the game with any team comp if you put in the work to build them properly. The idea of characters being bad in genshin, really just means they aren't as OP as others.
Sweaty gamers minmaxed the strongest character to feel superior, True Legends overcome the challenges to make the weakest character shines as if it was the strongest.
It's the only guide I've seen that goes "this is how this could work" and not "sheees awwffullll" The only clip on the massive internet that could explain her kit well enough for me to feel i could use her well with xinqui and fishcls skills.
So one thing about yelan, dehya is able to be used with yelan's e. It works great with dehya's e. Hit Dehya's e first then yelan's e. This can pop up to 95k per set. Get yelan c1 or 2 and you can do it twice. Dehya is an interesting support for dps yelan.
i was hyped about their synergy but then realised that is just better not to use her burst at all with this kind of playstile, which is most fun part of her kit😭
I really liked the video and just wanted to suggest a team that I saw on the DehyaMains subreddit that is a Dual DPS core with Dehya, Raiden, Sarah and Chevy (Sarah is really good for buffing both since their bursts last for a very short time and her skill has a low cooldown) It is currently my favorite team to run in the abyss specially against bosses and it's really fun :) you should give it a try if you haven't already
I think benny is better there becouse sara buff only raiden(from dehya perspective)but it should work if want to free benny for other side yes,i have chevreuse c6 and she really brings overload to new hights😁
@@miropetrov2734Tbh Bennett will also only benefit raiden due to switch cooldowns and animations. Unless you use it for Dehya first, then Raiden big slash and 2-3 attacks will benefit too.
i have been maining her since release and despite her drawbacks, i find her gameplay fun and visually pleasing. pulled for her C1 and Signature weapon and i fortunately lost my 5050 to her once so she's C2 now. i definitely wanna try emblem with the melusine weapon since it sounds fun with high attack and ER. My team for her is Dehya, Furina, Bennett and Mona (hope you get her soon!) Im just running VG 4 piece on her since i find that more consistent in terms of damage. Dehya will forever be my main
I didn't get the signature but I have wolf's gravestone so I don't really need an atk% sands for but I do wish that her and Tighnari's signatures somehow become available again because while Tighnari's isn't that important while there's so many different great bows but Dehya's is important as there aren't that many good claymores you have wolf's gravestone, redhorn, beacon and the axe for your choices with beacon and gravestone stone being the most universal.
THANK YOU!!! Just FINALLY pulled Dehya from the Standard Banner, and I LOOOOVE HER!!! Just took my C0 Curry/Hyper-Burgeon Dehya through the Abyss (with Nahida, Xingqui, and Kuki) and she BREEZED through it!! And, more importantly, it was SO MUCH FUN! Same for the open world! This team is so fun and so easy to use (though it's Furina instead of Xingqui there) and just so rewarding to play. Thanks for the guide, will certainly come back to it at some point when I get more constellations on her!

I want to play Klee. Her best team has Xiangling. I want to play Raiden, Childe. They both want Xiangling. I don't even try to play Dehya. She grabs me by the throat. I fish for her. I cook for her. I give her The Catch. She isn't satisfied. I pull Engulfing Lightning. "I don't need this much ER" She tells me. "Give me more field time." She grabs Bennett and forces him to throw himself off enemies. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Homa." I can't pull for Homa, I don't have enough primogems.. Wait a minute, I've given her Homa, what else does she wan- She grabs my credit card. It declines. "Guess this is the end." She grabs Guoba. She says "Guoba, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, no icd pyro application. What a cruel world.
I just need a 2nd Xiangling. Desperately searching how to exchange her in my wriothesley team comp so I can take him to abyss because I need Xiangling in another team 🤡 thinking of Dehya, but all characters just seems so weak compared to Xiangling
It's probably more accurate to say this is the ONLY Dehya guide you'll ever GET, rather than need, but that's kind of the community's fault, so good on you! Bonus points for using Zelda music in a Genshin guide video!!
I really do hope others can make more Dehya guides, doesn’t matter how big or small the CC are as having more than one perspective on a character is always useful to have so everyone can learn from each other! But the if no one want to join in, I’ll still be around to make more Dehya guides in the future!
Dehya put me through a rollercoaster of emotions. I went from hyped to concern to disappointment and then burnout. I had to step away from the game for 3 months because I regretted skipping characters I wanted for her. Now I can say as much crap I give her kit, she's still my most used standard character on my account confirmed by my Genshin overview lol. I actually like using her as a test to myself to see if I can still clear content. The game not getting any harder anyway so I might as well put a handicap on myself since my other characters will breeze through content. I'll be on a break from the game again soon since I'm not interested in the upcoming content, but whenever I come back I hope I can get get C4 Dehya(1 more to go).
This is the kind of love for characters that I absolutely adore. Going through a learning process, identifying weaknesses and overcoming them, not giving up on making things works for them to shine IS the way to enjoy a character to the fullest no matter what the vast majority might say. As a Eula main who never gave up on making her the queen of my account (still holding the record for my biggest DMG nuke) I respect your dedication. Amazing video.

Yeah! I got Dehya on her banner because I love her, and after a while all of the talk about her being useless got to me and I stopped using her. My account was fairly new back then, so I didn’t know how to make her work and it just seemed pointless. Eventually I learned about her being good in a Nahida burning team and I finally started using her again! I’m so glad I did because I want to use the characters I love more often. That was kinda long, but my point is that although I get people being disappointed when a character’s kit isn’t very good, If people never even try to find ways to use them, and instead just complain about them, it makes it difficult for people who still want to play with them. We need more guides for characters like Dehya and Eula cause despite how people act, they’re both plenty useable.
As a hardcore Dehya enthusiast 4pc Golden Troupe is better than 4pc Glow if you're using Dehya as an E-bot but don't want to use 4pc Tenacity because it's lack of personal damage, no attack scalers, someone else is holding tenacity, etc. Source: I plugged it into Optimizer with the exact same substats, mainstats, etc. However, C4 and above Dehya you're probably just better of using VG since it buffs her skill and burst, she doesn't have the same energy problems as Pre-C4, and it complements her entire kit period. GT 4pc, if you have it, is not bad to slap onto Dehya. You still get the most damage from her field in Burgeon, however, with the full EM sets! (I am just a Xiangling hater and would rather use Dehya as my off-field pyro applier hehe)

I love dehya, and i watched this guide fully despite already knowing everything about her, it was very enjoyable. I'm so happy i got dehya c1 recently and finally hit my first 100k dehya vape in abyss, good luck to everyone building her!
The fact that mihoyo make her: Aesthetics, design: S tier Story, lore: S tier Skill and burst satisfaction: S tier Character personality: S tier Kit, stats, multipliers: D tier Is something I will never understand up to this day... Sadge. She's one of the characters I always try to slot in whenever there's casual content just because she's fun playing with.. Heck even wriothesley punches feels so weak compare to dehyas punch that actually feels like there's weight behind it
I lost (win) to Dehya while pulling for Xianyun last week but it doesn't matter since Dehya is actually one of the characters I would prefer to obtain over other standard banner chars. She's badass so I don't mind her "weak" kit since I could comfortably clear abyss anyways. I have already built her to the best I can atm and having watched this vid just further my motivation to make her better and I would def try these team comps you have showcased seems really interesting and fun. I just hope and I think, imo she'll only get better or even meta (team comp wise) when Natlan comes out. COPIUM
Great guide! Glad to see that, after 3+ years of Genshin, players still find a way to challenge themselves and bring more creative ways to use their favorite characters. I've experimented with many teams on my end and ended up with the HyperBurgeon role, since it feels the most satisfying to play. Punching might be cool, but seeing her drop not only the Fiery Sanctum but also my framerate is quite an achievement!
Nice video! I'm more of a casual player, full FTP, and I pulled for Dehya even after knowing what Miho did of her. It's so much fun to play - her burst is one of the most satisfying on the game!

I loved the first raiden dehya team showcase I was looking for it everywhere and ig xiangling is better than stressing about bennett or sara buffs in the team
not going to lie, best dehya guide ive seen as someone who actively looks up dehya showcases/guides/searches verse. spent 120 wishes to still not get the claymore and have now realized that its not in standard. at least i can get my c1 in standard.
I have been maining Dehya since her release because she is my favorite character. I even skipped Yelans and Hu Taos banners for her and pre farmed all of her materials so i could get her up to lvl 90 and triple crown her the moment i got her. I also tried to get r5 beacon but best i could do was r2 because i got r2 staff of scarlet sands and a primordial jade winged spear in the process. And although she might not be the best character in the game i really enjoy her playstyle. She is really fun and comfortable to play and i can even go afk in the middle of most boss fights and come back an hour later and defeat the boss when i have her on field. The only problem for me was that i wasnt sure what artifacts to use so i just gave her some random gladiator and tenacity artifacts going for the 2-pc effects. This guide cleared things up a bit and i think i will farm a 4-pc gilded dreams set for her since i use her as a hydro applicator on a burgeon/hyperbloom team with candace, nahida and raiden. Hopefully if i lose my future 50/50s i lose them to her. I want her c6 someday.
i started playing in november 2022. dehya is my only 5* with a constelation (lost pity 2 times, but the first one was calculated). i saw very fast the sacrifitial sinergy. coincidentally, before she released, i played the sumeru archon quest and instantly fell in love of her. Before i tell my teams i must clarify, i only play female characters, because if i'm going to sell my soul to a gacha at least i want to have fun (also i'm gay af). dehya has been on my main team from the very moment she came. it was dendro mc-barbara (my only hydro character for so freaking long) layla (the love of my life) and deyha. she is so fun to play. and now that i have her c1, she deserves her own team. i'm currently trying to get nahida (last time nahida came i lost to dehya...it wasn't that calculated) but i have furina, so something i'll be able to do. recently i wanted to do yanfei dps, i took her to the abyss. there it was, my nemesis, the electro manifestation. until that moment i avoided it every possible time, but not this time. i tried and tried, i practiced and studied, and finally i made it. i went yanfei-diona-dehya-yelan. with diona's burst and dehya' skill i tanked everything and came out more then half hp. without dehya it was impossible. thanks to her i finally was able to pass floor 11 for the first time. Dehya is one of those characters that make me utterly happy to play. Your guide is what i needed to pull her full potential. It's time to farm now >:3
It's cool to see Dehya getting some love! Nice guide, it's made me consider trying her in an Overload comp with Chevreuse and Raiden as well as trying her out with Furina. I do still like Mono Pyro with her but it's always fun to try different teams!
honestly i didnt know about dehya existence until i got her while pulling for neuvillete (which btw i regret deeply cause i hated his gameplay but was so worth cause o got dehya) and she got me hooked! how you cannot love a woman so invested on her own character that she wakes up everyday and shapes her hair into hears? the ultimate is one of the coolest looking one and she came to me as a blessing in disguise cause i have being praying for a diluc since i stated playing this game (literal 1 mounth after release) and she checks almost all the boxes, pyro? check! cool looking? check! claymore user? check! looks fenomenal with wolfs gravestone? check! not the best at its job? literally me! thx for the guide!
That "weak character?" segment of the video really resonated with me. Because I've also been playing Dehya since her release and I've thrown her into a myriad of teams here and there. Maining her has actually taught me something very important. The game is single-player aside from the optional co-op. There are no in-game rankings. There's no competition with high value stakes nor rewards. There is no punishment for under-performance aside from not reaching challenge goals. It's not like failing full clear abyss runs is a huge dent in primogem income. Nothing is really lost. The best experience in the game so far is cultivating your own fun. Hell, I saw someone in co-op use a DPS Diona and it was wild and yet entertaining to watch, as it was probably the same for player as well. The game has no mechanical limits nor restrictions for weapon choices (aside from type like sword/claymore/etc) and artifacts. There is no warning in game that says "please dont do that" if you slot ATK stats onto someone like Barbara. That is only on player forums. The game can make suggestions as the recent updates pull data from builds players have. But, the game is really open and free not just in exploration, but in equipment and party members. That said, I love Dehya for how she works. I love her for how she doesn't. I love experimenting, I love just button mashing. I love planning strategy mid-fight. Knowing when to do something. Knowing when to hold back. A lot of the times when I think of a team, I don't ask myself "is this viable, meta, fast and efficient?", I think "does it sound fun? can I pull it off?" and even learning if it's not is ironically fun in of itself.
also yeah, fun is usually more priority to me. i have a built xiangling and bennett but haven't really used them for a very long time now. maybe some day, but the current teams i use are just more fun to me. most of them are also my teams in overworld, so those are more priority. now if i could find some build comps for sayu mains lol she's one of the few 4stars that i actively pulled for and not just wait til i get eventually. i liked her gameplay and hopefully i can go back and use her again
i main wriothesley for now and for his strongest team with his own damage coming from melt. and who is that third character if we already have kazuha and bennet for example? either xiangling who's pyro application is locked behind a super hyper insanely hungry ultimate (three years in the game i still suck at making her ult have constant application) or dehya who's pyro application at the very least is free of ult and casts at her skill. that is such an upgrade in theory, unfortunately im not into watching others' teams output cause let's be real constellations and artifacts can make any character shine a lot more than average c1 so idk how to correctly compare their numbers to mine, so im waiting for my dehya one day, wish she comes to my acc one day
Thank you so much for this video! Its really thorough and well made! As a Xinyan main I'm used to my favorite characters being neglected by the fandom and by build guides. At least on youtube, its hard for me to find updated guides on how to make these characters work. Wish I could find something this thorough on Xinyan. I've been cursed with being attached to characters deemed "bad" by the community. But personally I've never really cared about how meta they are or their damage, but about them as a character and how fun they are to play. When Dehya first came out it was sad to see that treatment repeat onto another character that I really liked. Unfortunately I lost the 50/50 on her banner to Tighnari and dropped the game for a month because I was pissed. I also just spent on Alhaitham and his weapon the previous patch too and was too burned out to spend on her as well. To this day she still dodges me, along with Jean, and I'm cursed by Keqing and Mona (I mean i like them but I want the others). This video helped me decide that when I finally get Dehya I will add her to my Neuvillette team! Here's to hoping they eventually rerun her weapon and I can eventually get cons for her too so I can play her as a dps.

I lost my xianyun 50/50 to dehya and i started to build her cause she is so cool and i love the lioness aesthetic and i don't regret it, even though i still need to farm for better pieces My team is Dehya , Fischl , Chevreuse and Raiden. It super fun, Dehya and Raiden take turns with theirs burst so i have 100% time punching or slashing people it's cool o/
Thank you! The music I used where I talk about "is Dehya really a weak character?" was called "Ideal and Real" making that bit perfect! In an Ideal world I wanted Dehya to be the best character everyone can praised but that's not what happened. Reality is Dehya is a very tough character to use but as long as someone puts the time and effort into building her and honing her kit then anything is possible! :D
for the longest time i used dehya mono pyro team, but when I got furina shes so much fun now and really love it. Since I got Dehya in day one I always used her team in abyss and still awesome.

As a owner of a Wriothesley I need to inform u about an issue in the comp u presented here (23:40). The issue is the burning aura. When enemies are small this comp is great! Wriothesley literally become a bully to all those unlucky to cross his path, but when the enemies are big their hitboxes also are big and the burning aura remain in that hitbox. The problem with that is that Wriothesley usually invades the hitbox space of these bigger enemies in order to punch them, so u kinda go like 😈👊🔥 to 🔥🥵🔥 till you 🔥🫠🔥 and then 🔥💀🔥. A tip to you for that the aura don't insta kill you: DO NOT GIVE EM TO NAHIDA. I know it doesn't make much sence since it's a Nahida with no EM but I told u there was a issue
As a dehya main, pulling on her banner and playing until now, at C0 she is really frustrating (low atk output, E skill only last 12s in toltal of 20s cd, meaning 8s left for nothing). Now my girl is C2, she goes from "bad" to "ok" (with the help of benent and furina), i can clear 36 star abyss no sweet. As you said, i really want her signature weapon too 😭

i watch guides and the amount of comments abt how bad xyz character is on thier own guide is so annoying. like why do you think i'm here? lol i already know dori, candace, dehya etc is bad, let me use them in peace. ive just decided to stop watching guides, and try and read talents my self and think lol. i'm here bcs i knew this was a dehya lover, so i knew the guide wouldnt be annoying or have annoying ppl in the comment section. i also watch abyss runs, but creative people. the same comments pop up there. i just want to see new team ideas, not hear about how any team that doesnt have the same 4 characters on it is trash sorry for ranting on your comment lol, ive been building dori recently and i actually have come to like her. shes been the easiest to build for me so far, and the cheapest, she actually helps me lol. i remembered all the dori comments in guides and showcases i've seen lol. (the haters of dori seem to press on her videos purposefully to say they dont like her, theres no other character treatment like this ive seen except maybe dehya)

BUT its shocking when you come back to your comfort game and character and are told a lot back then "players like you not recognizing she's weaker than every other option and still playing her is the reason why they wont fix her." Great guide and one I will forward to any new dehya mains. I’ve been primarily using Dehya c1, Navia, furina, and Charlotte as of now but as soon as I finish the story (still on inazuma) I’ll be building dps as much as possible
first of all, congrats on your first guide. very well done. i was sad to hear that you dont have mona, because i want to recommend something really really cool as a team to you. its my favourite dehya team atm that i use to swipe abyss 12 aswell. very comfortably. it sounds a bit strange at first but it will all make sense. first dehya ofc. (mine is c1 with her signiture weapon the reed sea) with her own set. ER is not needed. if you have some ER substats thats nice ofc but it works without. full Crit, HP and atk/EM furina, i run her with the festering desire, tons of HP, CRIT, ER Bennett; just the normal 4p noblesse HP ER build. with sapwood blade. i have him c6 so dehya can even squeeze out some normal attacks if there is time last mona. what glues the whole idea together perfectly. bennett+furina isnt nice for fanfare we all know that. so hes mainly just a buffer and battery. mona is a healer too in that team. full maiden set, healing bonus headpiece and ER. all the ER. weapon: prototype amber. she helps battery the team, heals enough to boost fanfare to max immediatly and ads the Omen debuff ofc. so we have basically 3 buffers for dehya. atk from benny, elemental from furina and the debuff from mona. while providing heals and energy for everyone. with that team i melt floor 12 bosses in around 35-45 seconds. and it makes dehya look incredibly strong while the supports do basically the heavy lifting (support impact obv). so if you ever have the chance to get mona, pls try it out its really fun to use. and keep up the nice work :D

i have been trying to build dehya fr a long time. i was so happy when i lost my pity to her in hutao banner. leveled her up d day i got her, maxed her talents but i couldnt figure out teams or artifacts fr her. im so so glad i got ur video its d best dehya vid ever. imma build her properly now. i love her sm i wanna play her big time .

Lost my 50 on Neub to Deyha, and now deciding to build her. She’s at a decent state as of now, with Emblem, ATK PYRO CRIT. Run her with Yae, Chen, Benny for overload team. Or with Furina, Benny, and Nahida/Kazu/Jean (depends on what I feel). Edit: also slapped Fav on her for her ER issues. Gonna try to raise the Melusine weapon and see how that works on her. Wouldn’t actually mind losing 50/50 to Deyha, as her cons actually make her average then 😭. I see Deyha as the problem project, that I try to make work, aha. Been AR60 for a long time now, and Hoyo still refuses to add true end game, so passing the time by exploring everything to 100% and making Deyha “usable” in Abyss.

The moment you said: "Imagine wasting thousands of Primos while losing the 50/50 twice just to get your third try" I felt that.. as one who went all-in for Dehya when she came out it hurts.. Cost me about 170 to get my first dehya, 220 summons for the weapon... and then went for Dehya constellations.. (got none with 150 wishes...) *Have her C2 now due to winning the newer banners by not getting the on-banner characters and getting her xD Also: Team I like to use: Lynney + Chevreuse + Raiden + Dehya
I like the different non DPS Dehya sets and such, a great way to use Dehya in a team while not making her the dps. The best 5 stars are those that can offer support, and help your newest dps character shine, like Mona and Jean, who are used way more than Keqing and Diluc

I was in the same boat, loved Dehya's design ever since the leaks. But seeing beta infos and seeing people who liked her experiencing 5 stages or grief 7 times in the span of 3 minutes for who knows how long just makes me angry more than anything. And to see them toss her into standard banner, outclassed by a new 4* shortly after is like a spit in the eye. Honestly great guide. No "Hey, just get her cons lol" pure facts and no sugarcoating. It just sucks that to have her viable means you gotta invest a lot by far compared to other characters. (needing top supports and other 5* units to work- unless people are building her as a full on tank/support). It may just be my own ego that tells me "If any character absolutely requires you to use Bennett to deal damage, there's a major issue" and I wouldn't bring myself to using him. Me, I got her on release, fear of never getting her. (I still don't have Jean) I never once felt regret maining Dehya, all I felt was this constant anger for what Hoyo did to her. And so far I've Solo'd Scaramouche with her to spite them. (C0, Redhorn, 4p Emblem)

Ive been a Diluc main for a long time (playing Genshin since the game came out) and when Dehya released i was expecting a "better Diluc" (it wasn't) and i also lost her on the banner, but after a long time i finally got her on standard banner and she really wasn't a better Diluc (like i expected) but she was the most fun character that I've used after a long time and seeing this video made me wanna do a overall on her build. thanks for making this awesome content and i hope that make ppl realize that Dehya isn't that bad how some ppl say
i'm dehya main, I pulled her Weapon, months camping on her artifact domain, C2 Nahida for 30% def shred and double burning dmg, 2 Xiphos for Kuki and Kazuha for her ER, so I can play Burning to capitalize her passive
I appreciate you putting in the effort for this video. Everyone should play the character they want to! This game offers many tools to make basically any character work with enough investment. I got my C1 Dehya pulling for Childe cons, C2 shortly after and I've enjoyed her mono-pyro team (sue me, the team is really fun for me personally!) and as a sub for Xiangling in Childe international with Dehya on 4 golden troupe (Childe carries the dmg with his investment so she's there because I like her better than Xiangling and I want to use her). Unfortunately I skipped her weapon saving up for Childe so I'm left to wait and see if they ever rerun it (the nation specific banner leaks may offer a sliver of hope 🙏). Great work here, I'm hoping we'll get another hydro unit to really solidify vape Dehya as another option for her teams
Get C2R1 on her banner. Now want to get C4 Chevreuse and Raiden (Clorinde?), because it looks now as best team for my lioness. And no more long-eared mushroom eater, i already have C2, i need constelation for DEHYA!
also people are so funny, not for everyone it's a frustration to work with non-ss+ meta units, i main itto heizou and wriothesley as my absolutely favorite dps characters and three of them have been downgraded in that meta for my itto for some reason having insane damage with furina; for my heizou who's downplayed as a four star of a support element where people didn't even bother figure out his skill makes him a dps or at least sub dos with all that damage made exactly like navia but again people even forgot heizou exists while now they almost worship navia's skill, just wow, looks like not only damage matters to people, you have to be a legendary character or a starter 4 star character to be remembered, just wow; for my wriothesley day1 be better at damage than my ayaka 1 year old on account... meta is a lot more flexible in this game but people love to simplify it to just call this unit is good so all other alternatives are bad. I would still prefer to build dehya over xiangling and it'll be more meta on my account argue with the wall im not changing that opinion
great video btw , i tried alot build too but i prefer using her support. i use her 4 pc millelith with wolf gravestone. team is Yelan Hutao Dehya , so Hutao dont get one shot when she is low HP and 2 pyro give atk , 4 th is kokomi just for the hp buff and some emergency healling just in case but rarely needed 😉
Great guide, it shows a lot of love for the character. I’m curious if you’ve heard about the Dehya/Sayu burgeon comp which seems really fun. Full team I’ve seen is Furina, Nahida, Dehya and Sayu. You have off-field bloom generation from Furina and Nahida. Then use Dehya’s interruption and dmg resistance on her skill to let Sayu roll around on field, triggering burgeons by swirling Dehyas skill and providing healing for Dehya and Furina. Very unique team using two often overlooked characters.
I haven’t max out Sayu or use her much but that team sounds very interesting! Does sayu trigger burgeon by becoming a fire ball and goes next to the dendro cores making them explode automatically? Also thank you for sharing your team!
Yep, Sayu usually absorbs pyro on her skill to roll around and hit cores. I first saw it showcased by F2PKeqing so all credit to them. They have some abyss runs and explained it a bit in their “5 Best Furina Teams you didn’t know exist” video if you’re interested seeing it.
Last year, I chose Dehya over meta because of how much I loved the character, and my soul has been very much fulfilled ever since. She may require a lot of investment, but at the same time, that investment, and my determination to make it work, is what gave me purpose in the game. And Dehya is worth all of it.
It’s really nice to see Dehya content as I am too a Dehya main, a team that I use her in is with Furina Bennett Kazuha and Dehya, I give kazuha the R5 sacrificial sword cause you might wanna do his skill twice in the rotation and you’ll more often than not get full fanfare but I should note though that my Furina is C1 and idk if that helps you get it faster or not, I know it gives more buff but idk about maxing it, so the rotation is Dehya skill then Furina skill and burst then kazuha burst and skill (make sure to see if the sacrificial sword triggered) then bennett burst and skill then switch back to kazuha but only if the sacrificial sword got triggered you do his skill again then Dehya burst and that’s it I used this team to full clear the current Abyss (4.3)
Dehya was my first five star character, so I have a soft spot for her. The main team I use with her now is Dendro Traveler, Dehya, Ayato, and Kuki. It's hyperbloom with Dehya providing occasional burgeon, damage and most importantly interruption resistance. Playing a team without Dehya feels like I get knocked around way more than necessary lol. (just saw where you formed something similar, hyperburgeon is def a better term for this LOL) I do have Nahida, but she's in the process of being levelled up so dendro traveler is the best I have at the moment. Regardless of what other characters I may get, Dehya will probably always be my main because I love her playstyle and like her as a character as well. Thanks for the lovely guide! Alternative Dehya burgeon team: Dehya Xingqiu lumine(Dendro) Yaoyao (Or the Dehya burgeon team since for some reason using an archon kill the immersion of the game for you, like me) Details: (I really don't know how much effort you should put into leveling up the levels and talents of all characters since I have the tendency to max the hell out of them, cause it feels like gauranteed progress to me...) Dehya Weapon: Mailed Flower (this yields 110 EM) Artifacts: Paradise Lost is more preferable, but Gilded Dreams should works too.The rule of the thumb is, "me see EM, me take it.", the more the better. The other things doesn't really matter. The artifact I'm currently using is four piece Paradise Lost, and a random piece that have EM main status in it, Which gives me around 660 EM. Xingqiu: go with Sacrificial Sword and 4 piece Emblem of Severed Fate.. lumine(Dendro): go with 4 piece Instrutor, and whatever else will keep her alive + ample elemental recharge Yaoyao: go with Rightful Reward and 4 piece Deepwood Memories. Discription: The Dehya in my team has 900 EM passively. When in battle, try to trigger every buff from artifacts, this will bring Dehya's EM to about 1050. With all elemental bursts that is EM related, her EM could reach around 1200. A single burgeon reaction from her would be around 34000~37000 for a emeny that has 10% dendro resistance, which is good enough for me. I use her burst like her E skills, but with immediate actuation but no aftereffect, which is probably not optimal, lol. For me this is probably the best team to play her with, she feels like the center piece of the team. Man, Dehya is tanky isn't she. She can face-tank almost everything, consecrated beasts included.
Just some random things I found, Dehya's attack loop can stun lock Rocky Avildson and Liam, so give her Eula's gear she is probably the best character to solo those two.
clam set Dehya for underwaterFontaine exploration, with neuvillette, Freminet, and Furina, so she not only heals back up after taking damage from a passive that unlike active skills, works under water, but also gets all the bonuses for swimming. It's also nly 1 character off from your Neuvillette team you showed here.
No, I never lost to dehya on a banner, I chose to summon on her banner upon release and the first ever time I ever pulled on the weapon banner to get her exclusive weapon. If I ever lose 50/50 then I would like to lose to her after I get all the other standard 5 star which are jean and qiqi
Hey, nice video :) I am well aware what you said about Ayato in her teams, but i would still like to share my favorite Dehya team, althrough it is quite similar to one of your teams: Dehya, Furina, Jean, Ayato. Dehya as main DPS and obviously Furina for the best Hydro application for Dehya and furthermore her DMG buff. Jean works as a burst Healer (with Heals afterwards) to max out Furinas burst and VV shred. Lastly Ayato. I thought quite a while about the 4th team slot, but couldn´t really find a suitable option. I don´t need a shield as Dehya, I don´t need more heals. VV was already build in, so no Anemo, the other Hydro characters have bad Hydro application for Dehya, the other Pyro characters are DPS stealing vaporizes from Dehya or shields, which mailny voted out Xiangling. I thought about Bennett, but his small buff field is too annoying for me. Kryo converts Vaporize to melt and which deals less DMG, Dendro is not that worth for burning and burgeon stals the vapes by creating Dendro cores. Overload pushes enemys away which is annoying, Geo has no compatible units exept Zhongli, who is a shielder. Until now, it comes down to Bennett and maybe Diona and Kokomi. And another Problem introduced itself: Furinas Hydro application is good, but sometimes it has some an awkward times phase, where the pets just doesn´t attack. A second Hydro charackter would be nice, for example Kokomi, or someone with a bigger area of coverage, Ayato. First, he applies more Hyrdo. Secondly, he enables Hydro resonance, which is great for Dehya, Furina and Ayato. Thirdly, he can work as a sub DPS, whenever needed. E.g. when Dehyas Burst is canceled or you had to cancel it, if someone lacks energy, if the enemy is fire resistant or if you want to save bursts in Abyss but need some DMG. That is why i settled for Ayato, even if Bennett is a close second.
While writing this i got struck by a burgeon idea: Dehya, Furina (Ayato, Kokomi), Baizhu (Nahida, Dendro), Kazuha (Saccharose). I think Kazuha would make a good teammember, scince he boosts EM and can infuse his Ult with for more Hydro, also VV boosts Dehya Vapes.
Ahh, and for the DPS build: Dehya, Furina, Barbera (Kokomi), Kazuha (Saccharose). Basically you divide Jeans tasks to Barbera for burst heal and Kazuha for VV. Then Kazuha takes over the tasks from Ayato, meaning more Hydro with ult infusion and some DMG for bad situations. Also he boosts EM for vapes and can group enemies.
I play game for short time in commparasion to most. But since i started i did fall in love with Dehya in first sight. Sadly i did miss her banner And weapon. Then i did "loose" Raiden Wish And did get Dehya. I have pretty strange pulls, ONLY 3 five stars on account, skyward pride, Raiden and my love Dehya. My team Is Dehya C0 Fish C0 Cheveruse C2 Bennett C6 I can ONLY Praise this team. If there Is ever going to be Dehya Banner And weapon in store again i Will change from F2P to whale in hearthbeat with no regrets.
I don’t have Dehya, I thought I’d eventually get her from losing a 50/50 but I still haven’t got one copy of her. Nevertheless this is a great guide and I’ll certainly come back to it once I get her!
Small update: during my pulls for chiori, I got not one but two copies of Dehya. I couldn’t be happier. I now have a c1 Dehya and I immediately went and pulled for her weapon on the chronicled banner! I am now building my Dehya to be the best she can be. Thank you for this amazing guide.

I want to make classes, character, jobs no one loves at every game powerful and great. That is a personal challenge or smth like that I like to do. You can really beat all content in the game with any team comp if you put in the work to build them properly. The idea of characters being bad in genshin, really just means they aren't as OP as others.

So one thing about yelan, dehya is able to be used with yelan's e. It works great with dehya's e. Hit Dehya's e first then yelan's e. This can pop up to 95k per set. Get yelan c1 or 2 and you can do it twice. Dehya is an interesting support for dps yelan.
a question: Can you still get the buff from vorukasha when Furina drains down dehya’s hp?

I really liked the video and just wanted to suggest a team that I saw on the DehyaMains subreddit that is a Dual DPS core with Dehya, Raiden, Sarah and Chevy (Sarah is really good for buffing both since their bursts last for a very short time and her skill has a low cooldown)
It is currently my favorite team to run in the abyss specially against bosses and it's really fun :) you should give it a try if you haven't already

I think benny is better there becouse sara buff only raiden(from dehya perspective)but it should work if want to free benny for other side yes,i have chevreuse c6 and she really brings overload to new hights😁
@@miropetrov2734Tbh Bennett will also only benefit raiden due to switch cooldowns and animations. Unless you use it for Dehya first, then Raiden big slash and 2-3 attacks will benefit too.

i have been maining her since release and despite her drawbacks, i find her gameplay fun and visually pleasing. pulled for her C1 and Signature weapon and i fortunately lost my 5050 to her once so she's C2 now. i definitely wanna try emblem with the melusine weapon since it sounds fun with high attack and ER. My team for her is Dehya, Furina, Bennett and Mona (hope you get her soon!) Im just running VG 4 piece on her since i find that more consistent in terms of damage. Dehya will forever be my main

I didn't get the signature but I have wolf's gravestone so I don't really need an atk% sands for but I do wish that her and Tighnari's signatures somehow become available again because while Tighnari's isn't that important while there's so many different great bows but Dehya's is important as there aren't that many good claymores you have wolf's gravestone, redhorn, beacon and the axe for your choices with beacon and gravestone stone being the most universal.
THANK YOU!!! Just FINALLY pulled Dehya from the Standard Banner, and I LOOOOVE HER!!! Just took my C0 Curry/Hyper-Burgeon Dehya through the Abyss (with Nahida, Xingqui, and Kuki) and she BREEZED through it!! And, more importantly, it was SO MUCH FUN! Same for the open world! This team is so fun and so easy to use (though it's Furina instead of Xingqui there) and just so rewarding to play. Thanks for the guide, will certainly come back to it at some point when I get more constellations on her!

Dehya put me through a rollercoaster of emotions. I went from hyped to concern to disappointment and then burnout. I had to step away from the game for 3 months because I regretted skipping characters I wanted for her. Now I can say as much crap I give her kit, she's still my most used standard character on my account confirmed by my Genshin overview lol. I actually like using her as a test to myself to see if I can still clear content. The game not getting any harder anyway so I might as well put a handicap on myself since my other characters will breeze through content. I'll be on a break from the game again soon since I'm not interested in the upcoming content, but whenever I come back I hope I can get get C4 Dehya(1 more to go).

Yeah! I got Dehya on her banner because I love her, and after a while all of the talk about her being useless got to me and I stopped using her. My account was fairly new back then, so I didn’t know how to make her work and it just seemed pointless. Eventually I learned about her being good in a Nahida burning team and I finally started using her again! I’m so glad I did because I want to use the characters I love more often.
That was kinda long, but my point is that although I get people being disappointed when a character’s kit isn’t very good, If people never even try to find ways to use them, and instead just complain about them, it makes it difficult for people who still want to play with them. We need more guides for characters like Dehya and Eula cause despite how people act, they’re both plenty useable.

4pc Golden Troupe is better than 4pc Glow if you're using Dehya as an E-bot but don't want to use 4pc Tenacity because it's lack of personal damage, no attack scalers, someone else is holding tenacity, etc. Source: I plugged it into Optimizer with the exact same substats, mainstats, etc. However, C4 and above Dehya you're probably just better of using VG since it buffs her skill and burst, she doesn't have the same energy problems as Pre-C4, and it complements her entire kit period. GT 4pc, if you have it, is not bad to slap onto Dehya. You still get the most damage from her field in Burgeon, however, with the full EM sets!
(I am just a Xiangling hater and would rather use Dehya as my off-field pyro applier hehe)
I was so hyped for Dehya, I pulled for her on her dedicated banner, despite knowing she was gonna become a standard-banner char, and despite knowing she was considered really bad. And truly, despite being a little support in my rarely used Ganyu team, I haven't really build her well so far. So I'm excited tos ee where this guide might get me :)
I love dehya, and i watched this guide fully despite already knowing everything about her, it was very enjoyable. I'm so happy i got dehya c1 recently and finally hit my first 100k dehya vape in abyss, good luck to everyone building her!

Is something I will never understand up to this day... Sadge. She's one of the characters I always try to slot in whenever there's casual content just because she's fun playing with.. Heck even wriothesley punches feels so weak compare to dehyas punch that actually feels like there's weight behind it

I lost (win) to Dehya while pulling for Xianyun last week but it doesn't matter since Dehya is actually one of the characters I would prefer to obtain over other standard banner chars. She's badass so I don't mind her "weak" kit since I could comfortably clear abyss anyways. I have already built her to the best I can atm and having watched this vid just further my motivation to make her better and I would def try these team comps you have showcased seems really interesting and fun. I just hope and I think, imo she'll only get better or even meta (team comp wise) when Natlan comes out. COPIUM

I've experimented with many teams on my end and ended up with the HyperBurgeon role, since it feels the most satisfying to play. Punching might be cool, but seeing her drop not only the Fiery Sanctum but also my framerate is quite an achievement!

I have been maining Dehya since her release because she is my favorite character. I even skipped Yelans and Hu Taos banners for her and pre farmed all of her materials so i could get her up to lvl 90 and triple crown her the moment i got her. I also tried to get r5 beacon but best i could do was r2 because i got r2 staff of scarlet sands and a primordial jade winged spear in the process. And although she might not be the best character in the game i really enjoy her playstyle. She is really fun and comfortable to play and i can even go afk in the middle of most boss fights and come back an hour later and defeat the boss when i have her on field. The only problem for me was that i wasnt sure what artifacts to use so i just gave her some random gladiator and tenacity artifacts going for the 2-pc effects. This guide cleared things up a bit and i think i will farm a 4-pc gilded dreams set for her since i use her as a hydro applicator on a burgeon/hyperbloom team with candace, nahida and raiden. Hopefully if i lose my future 50/50s i lose them to her. I want her c6 someday.
i started playing in november 2022. dehya is my only 5* with a constelation (lost pity 2 times, but the first one was calculated). i saw very fast the sacrifitial sinergy. coincidentally, before she released, i played the sumeru archon quest and instantly fell in love of her.
Before i tell my teams i must clarify, i only play female characters, because if i'm going to sell my soul to a gacha at least i want to have fun (also i'm gay af). dehya has been on my main team from the very moment she came. it was dendro mc-barbara (my only hydro character for so freaking long) layla (the love of my life) and deyha. she is so fun to play. and now that i have her c1, she deserves her own team. i'm currently trying to get nahida (last time nahida came i lost to dehya...it wasn't that calculated) but i have furina, so something i'll be able to do.
recently i wanted to do yanfei dps, i took her to the abyss. there it was, my nemesis, the electro manifestation. until that moment i avoided it every possible time, but not this time. i tried and tried, i practiced and studied, and finally i made it. i went yanfei-diona-dehya-yelan. with diona's burst and dehya' skill i tanked everything and came out more then half hp. without dehya it was impossible. thanks to her i finally was able to pass floor 11 for the first time. Dehya is one of those characters that make me utterly happy to play. Your guide is what i needed to pull her full potential. It's time to farm now >:3

It's cool to see Dehya getting some love! Nice guide, it's made me consider trying her in an Overload comp with Chevreuse and Raiden as well as trying her out with Furina. I do still like Mono Pyro with her but it's always fun to try different teams!
honestly i didnt know about dehya existence until i got her while pulling for neuvillete (which btw i regret deeply cause i hated his gameplay but was so worth cause o got dehya) and she got me hooked! how you cannot love a woman so invested on her own character that she wakes up everyday and shapes her hair into hears? the ultimate is one of the coolest looking one and she came to me as a blessing in disguise cause i have being praying for a diluc since i stated playing this game (literal 1 mounth after release) and she checks almost all the boxes, pyro? check! cool looking? check! claymore user? check! looks fenomenal with wolfs gravestone? check! not the best at its job? literally me!

That "weak character?" segment of the video really resonated with me. Because I've also been playing Dehya since her release and I've thrown her into a myriad of teams here and there. Maining her has actually taught me something very important. The game is single-player aside from the optional co-op. There are no in-game rankings. There's no competition with high value stakes nor rewards. There is no punishment for under-performance aside from not reaching challenge goals. It's not like failing full clear abyss runs is a huge dent in primogem income. Nothing is really lost. The best experience in the game so far is cultivating your own fun. Hell, I saw someone in co-op use a DPS Diona and it was wild and yet entertaining to watch, as it was probably the same for player as well. The game has no mechanical limits nor restrictions for weapon choices (aside from type like sword/claymore/etc) and artifacts. There is no warning in game that says "please dont do that" if you slot ATK stats onto someone like Barbara. That is only on player forums. The game can make suggestions as the recent updates pull data from builds players have. But, the game is really open and free not just in exploration, but in equipment and party members. That said, I love Dehya for how she works. I love her for how she doesn't. I love experimenting, I love just button mashing. I love planning strategy mid-fight. Knowing when to do something. Knowing when to hold back. A lot of the times when I think of a team, I don't ask myself "is this viable, meta, fast and efficient?", I think "does it sound fun? can I pull it off?" and even learning if it's not is ironically fun in of itself.
also yeah, fun is usually more priority to me. i have a built xiangling and bennett but haven't really used them for a very long time now. maybe some day, but the current teams i use are just more fun to me. most of them are also my teams in overworld, so those are more priority.
now if i could find some build comps for sayu mains lol she's one of the few 4stars that i actively pulled for and not just wait til i get eventually. i liked her gameplay and hopefully i can go back and use her again

i main wriothesley for now and for his strongest team with his own damage coming from melt. and who is that third character if we already have kazuha and bennet for example? either xiangling who's pyro application is locked behind a super hyper insanely hungry ultimate (three years in the game i still suck at making her ult have constant application) or dehya who's pyro application at the very least is free of ult and casts at her skill. that is such an upgrade in theory, unfortunately im not into watching others' teams output cause let's be real constellations and artifacts can make any character shine a lot more than average c1 so idk how to correctly compare their numbers to mine, so im waiting for my dehya one day, wish she comes to my acc one day

Thank you so much for this video! Its really thorough and well made! As a Xinyan main I'm used to my favorite characters being neglected by the fandom and by build guides. At least on youtube, its hard for me to find updated guides on how to make these characters work. Wish I could find something this thorough on Xinyan. I've been cursed with being attached to characters deemed "bad" by the community. But personally I've never really cared about how meta they are or their damage, but about them as a character and how fun they are to play.
When Dehya first came out it was sad to see that treatment repeat onto another character that I really liked. Unfortunately I lost the 50/50 on her banner to Tighnari and dropped the game for a month because I was pissed. I also just spent on Alhaitham and his weapon the previous patch too and was too burned out to spend on her as well. To this day she still dodges me, along with Jean, and I'm cursed by Keqing and Mona (I mean i like them but I want the others). This video helped me decide that when I finally get Dehya I will add her to my Neuvillette team! Here's to hoping they eventually rerun her weapon and I can eventually get cons for her too so I can play her as a dps.

Thank you! The music I used where I talk about "is Dehya really a weak character?" was called "Ideal and Real" making that bit perfect! In an Ideal world I wanted Dehya to be the best character everyone can praised but that's not what happened. Reality is Dehya is a very tough character to use but as long as someone puts the time and effort into building her and honing her kit then anything is possible! :D
for the longest time i used dehya mono pyro team, but when I got furina shes so much fun now and really love it. Since I got Dehya in day one I always used her team in abyss and still awesome.

Recently, I decided to Use her wuth Furina Benett and Xianyun. It's impressive to use the "Totem Time" To Burst both Benny and Xianyun and spam Fire plunge
As a owner of a Wriothesley I need to inform u about an issue in the comp u presented here (23:40). The issue is the burning aura. When enemies are small this comp is great! Wriothesley literally become a bully to all those unlucky to cross his path, but when the enemies are big their hitboxes also are big and the burning aura remain in that hitbox. The problem with that is that Wriothesley usually invades the hitbox space of these bigger enemies in order to punch them, so u kinda go like 😈👊🔥 to 🔥🥵🔥 till you 🔥🫠🔥 and then 🔥💀🔥. A tip to you for that the aura don't insta kill you: DO NOT GIVE EM TO NAHIDA. I know it doesn't make much sence since it's a Nahida with no EM but I told u there was a issue
I just realized how similar in concept are dehya's kit and fu xuan's from star rail, one of them is good right out of the box tho
As a dehya main, pulling on her banner and playing until now, at C0 she is really frustrating (low atk output, E skill only last 12s in toltal of 20s cd, meaning 8s left for nothing). Now my girl is C2, she goes from "bad" to "ok" (with the help of benent and furina), i can clear 36 star abyss no sweet.

sorry for ranting on your comment lol, ive been building dori recently and i actually have come to like her. shes been the easiest to build for me so far, and the cheapest, she actually helps me lol. i remembered all the dori comments in guides and showcases i've seen lol. (the haters of dori seem to press on her videos purposefully to say they dont like her, theres no other character treatment like this ive seen except maybe dehya)

i was sad to hear that you dont have mona, because i want to recommend something really really cool as a team to you. its my favourite dehya team atm that i use to swipe abyss 12 aswell. very comfortably.
it sounds a bit strange at first but it will all make sense.
first dehya ofc. (mine is c1 with her signiture weapon the reed sea) with her own set. ER is not needed. if you have some ER substats thats nice ofc but it works without.
full Crit, HP and atk/EM
furina, i run her with the festering desire, tons of HP, CRIT, ER
Bennett; just the normal 4p noblesse HP ER build. with sapwood blade. i have him c6 so dehya can even squeeze out some normal attacks if there is time
last mona. what glues the whole idea together perfectly. bennett+furina isnt nice for fanfare we all know that. so hes mainly just a buffer and battery. mona is a healer too in that team. full maiden set, healing bonus headpiece and ER. all the ER. weapon: prototype amber. she helps battery the team, heals enough to boost fanfare to max immediatly and ads the Omen debuff ofc.
so we have basically 3 buffers for dehya. atk from benny, elemental from furina and the debuff from mona. while providing heals and energy for everyone.
with that team i melt floor 12 bosses in around 35-45 seconds. and it makes dehya look incredibly strong while the supports do basically the heavy lifting (support impact obv).
so if you ever have the chance to get mona, pls try it out its really fun to use.

Run her with Yae, Chen, Benny for overload team.
Or with Furina, Benny, and Nahida/Kazu/Jean (depends on what I feel).
Edit: also slapped Fav on her for her ER issues. Gonna try to raise the Melusine weapon and see how that works on her.

I see Deyha as the problem project, that I try to make work, aha. Been AR60 for a long time now, and Hoyo still refuses to add true end game, so passing the time by exploring everything to 100% and making Deyha “usable” in Abyss.

Cost me about 170 to get my first dehya, 220 summons for the weapon... and then went for Dehya constellations.. (got none with 150 wishes...)
*Have her C2 now due to winning the newer banners by not getting the on-banner characters and getting her xD

I like the different non DPS Dehya sets and such, a great way to use Dehya in a team while not making her the dps. The best 5 stars are those that can offer support, and help your newest dps character shine, like Mona and Jean, who are used way more than Keqing and Diluc

I personnally got my 1st copy of Dehya a few weeks ago and I was not too disappointed coz I wanted to test her out mainly because she looks so badass (her look and her punching during her burst : sooo gorgeous !!!) and I find her skill very original ! ^^
Well, that's it, I am now waiting to get a second copy to unlock her C1 (speaking of which just got my 3rd constellation for Tighnari yesterday and I was sooo happy, guess it will be kind of the same for Dehya when getting C1+ ...) and then I'll think about building her cos she's so charismatic.

I was in the same boat, loved Dehya's design ever since the leaks. But seeing beta infos and seeing people who liked her experiencing 5 stages or grief 7 times in the span of 3 minutes for who knows how long just makes me angry more than anything. And to see them toss her into standard banner, outclassed by a new 4* shortly after is like a spit in the eye.
Honestly great guide. No "Hey, just get her cons lol" pure facts and no sugarcoating. It just sucks that to have her viable means you gotta invest a lot by far compared to other characters. (needing top supports and other 5* units to work- unless people are building her as a full on tank/support). It may just be my own ego that tells me "If any character absolutely requires you to use Bennett to deal damage, there's a major issue" and I wouldn't bring myself to using him.
Me, I got her on release, fear of never getting her. (I still don't have Jean) I never once felt regret maining Dehya, all I felt was this constant anger for what Hoyo did to her. And so far I've Solo'd Scaramouche with her to spite them. (C0, Redhorn, 4p Emblem)

Ive been a Diluc main for a long time (playing Genshin since the game came out) and when Dehya released i was expecting a "better Diluc" (it wasn't) and i also lost her on the banner, but after a long time i finally got her on standard banner and she really wasn't a better Diluc (like i expected) but she was the most fun character that I've used after a long time and seeing this video made me wanna do a overall on her build. thanks for making this awesome content and i hope that make ppl realize that Dehya isn't that bad how some ppl say
i'm dehya main, I pulled her Weapon, months camping on her artifact domain, C2 Nahida for 30% def shred and double burning dmg, 2 Xiphos for Kuki and Kazuha for her ER, so I can play Burning to capitalize her passive
I appreciate you putting in the effort for this video. Everyone should play the character they want to! This game offers many tools to make basically any character work with enough investment. I got my C1 Dehya pulling for Childe cons, C2 shortly after and I've enjoyed her mono-pyro team (sue me, the team is really fun for me personally!) and as a sub for Xiangling in Childe international with Dehya on 4 golden troupe (Childe carries the dmg with his investment so she's there because I like her better than Xiangling and I want to use her). Unfortunately I skipped her weapon saving up for Childe so I'm left to wait and see if they ever rerun it (the nation specific banner leaks may offer a sliver of hope 🙏). Great work here, I'm hoping we'll get another hydro unit to really solidify vape Dehya as another option for her teams
Get C2R1 on her banner. Now want to get C4 Chevreuse and Raiden (Clorinde?), because it looks now as best team for my lioness. And no more long-eared mushroom eater, i already have C2, i need constelation for DEHYA!

also people are so funny, not for everyone it's a frustration to work with non-ss+ meta units, i main itto heizou and wriothesley as my absolutely favorite dps characters and three of them have been downgraded in that meta for my itto for some reason having insane damage with furina; for my heizou who's downplayed as a four star of a support element where people didn't even bother figure out his skill makes him a dps or at least sub dos with all that damage made exactly like navia but again people even forgot heizou exists while now they almost worship navia's skill, just wow, looks like not only damage matters to people, you have to be a legendary character or a starter 4 star character to be remembered, just wow; for my wriothesley day1 be better at damage than my ayaka 1 year old on account... meta is a lot more flexible in this game but people love to simplify it to just call this unit is good so all other alternatives are bad. I would still prefer to build dehya over xiangling and it'll be more meta on my account argue with the wall im not changing that opinion
great video btw , i tried alot build too but i prefer using her support. i use her 4 pc millelith with wolf gravestone. team is Yelan Hutao Dehya , so Hutao dont get one shot when she is low HP and 2 pyro give atk , 4 th is kokomi just for the hp buff and some emergency healling just in case but rarely needed 😉

I’m curious if you’ve heard about the Dehya/Sayu burgeon comp which seems really fun.
Full team I’ve seen is Furina, Nahida, Dehya and Sayu. You have off-field bloom generation from Furina and Nahida. Then use Dehya’s interruption and dmg resistance on her skill to let Sayu roll around on field, triggering burgeons by swirling Dehyas skill and providing healing for Dehya and Furina.
Very unique team using two often overlooked characters.
I haven’t max out Sayu or use her much but that team sounds very interesting!
Does sayu trigger burgeon by becoming a fire ball and goes next to the dendro cores making them explode automatically? Also thank you for sharing your team!
Yep, Sayu usually absorbs pyro on her skill to roll around and hit cores. I first saw it showcased by F2PKeqing so all credit to them. They have some abyss runs and explained it a bit in their “5 Best Furina Teams you didn’t know exist” video if you’re interested seeing it.
Last year, I chose Dehya over meta because of how much I loved the character, and my soul has been very much fulfilled ever since.
She may require a lot of investment, but at the same time, that investment, and my determination to make it work, is what gave me purpose in the game.
And Dehya is worth all of it.
It’s really nice to see Dehya content as I am too a Dehya main, a team that I use her in is with Furina Bennett Kazuha and Dehya, I give kazuha the R5 sacrificial sword cause you might wanna do his skill twice in the rotation and you’ll more often than not get full fanfare but I should note though that my Furina is C1 and idk if that helps you get it faster or not, I know it gives more buff but idk about maxing it, so the rotation is Dehya skill then Furina skill and burst then kazuha burst and skill (make sure to see if the sacrificial sword triggered) then bennett burst and skill then switch back to kazuha but only if the sacrificial sword got triggered you do his skill again then Dehya burst and that’s it I used this team to full clear the current Abyss (4.3)
Well i WAS hoping to get her next Standard wish but the free 4 pull from the new Carp offerings gave me an R2 Wolfgravestone instead...
Dehya was my first five star character, so I have a soft spot for her. The main team I use with her now is Dendro Traveler, Dehya, Ayato, and Kuki.
It's hyperbloom with Dehya providing occasional burgeon, damage and most importantly interruption resistance. Playing a team without Dehya feels like I get knocked around way more than necessary lol. (just saw where you formed something similar, hyperburgeon is def a better term for this LOL)
I do have Nahida, but she's in the process of being levelled up so dendro traveler is the best I have at the moment.
Regardless of what other characters I may get, Dehya will probably always be my main because I love her playstyle and like her as a character as well.

Weapon: Mailed Flower (this yields 110 EM)
Artifacts: Paradise Lost is more preferable, but Gilded Dreams should works too.The rule of the thumb is, "me see EM, me take it.", the more the better. The other things doesn't really matter. The artifact I'm currently using is four piece Paradise Lost, and a random piece that have EM main status in it, Which gives me around 660 EM.
Xingqiu:
go with Sacrificial Sword and 4 piece Emblem of Severed Fate..
lumine(Dendro):
go with 4 piece Instrutor, and whatever else will keep her alive + ample elemental recharge
Yaoyao:
go with Rightful Reward and 4 piece Deepwood Memories.
Discription:
The Dehya in my team has 900 EM passively. When in battle, try to trigger every buff from artifacts, this will bring Dehya's EM to about 1050. With all elemental bursts that is EM related, her EM could reach around 1200. A single burgeon reaction from her would be around 34000~37000 for a emeny that has 10% dendro resistance, which is good enough for me. I use her burst like her E skills, but with immediate actuation but no aftereffect, which is probably not optimal, lol. For me this is probably the best team to play her with, she feels like the center piece of the team.
Man, Dehya is tanky isn't she. She can face-tank almost everything, consecrated beasts included.
Just some random things I found, Dehya's attack loop can stun lock Rocky Avildson and Liam, so give her Eula's gear she is probably the best character to solo those two.
clam set Dehya for underwaterFontaine exploration, with neuvillette, Freminet, and Furina, so she not only heals back up after taking damage from a passive that unlike active skills, works under water, but also gets all the bonuses for swimming. It's also nly 1 character off from your Neuvillette team you showed here.
If only hoyoverse put her c1,2 and c4 into her kit…… She would probably up against Hu tao.
No, I never lost to dehya on a banner, I chose to summon on her banner upon release and the first ever time I ever pulled on the weapon banner to get her exclusive weapon. If I ever lose 50/50 then I would like to lose to her after I get all the other standard 5 star which are jean and qiqi

Hey, nice video :) I am well aware what you said about Ayato in her teams, but i would still like to share my favorite Dehya team, althrough it is quite similar to one of your teams: Dehya, Furina, Jean, Ayato. Dehya as main DPS and obviously Furina for the best Hydro application for Dehya and furthermore her DMG buff. Jean works as a burst Healer (with Heals afterwards) to max out Furinas burst and VV shred. Lastly Ayato. I thought quite a while about the 4th team slot, but couldn´t really find a suitable option. I don´t need a shield as Dehya, I don´t need more heals. VV was already build in, so no Anemo, the other Hydro characters have bad Hydro application for Dehya, the other Pyro characters are DPS stealing vaporizes from Dehya or shields, which mailny voted out Xiangling. I thought about Bennett, but his small buff field is too annoying for me. Kryo converts Vaporize to melt and which deals less DMG, Dendro is not that worth for burning and burgeon stals the vapes by creating Dendro cores. Overload pushes enemys away which is annoying, Geo has no compatible units exept Zhongli, who is a shielder. Until now, it comes down to Bennett and maybe Diona and Kokomi. And another Problem introduced itself: Furinas Hydro application is good, but sometimes it has some an awkward times phase, where the pets just doesn´t attack. A second Hydro charackter would be nice, for example Kokomi, or someone with a bigger area of coverage, Ayato. First, he applies more Hyrdo. Secondly, he enables Hydro resonance, which is great for Dehya, Furina and Ayato. Thirdly, he can work as a sub DPS, whenever needed. E.g. when Dehyas Burst is canceled or you had to cancel it, if someone lacks energy, if the enemy is fire resistant or if you want to save bursts in Abyss but need some DMG. That is why i settled for Ayato, even if Bennett is a close second.
While writing this i got struck by a burgeon idea: Dehya, Furina (Ayato, Kokomi), Baizhu (Nahida, Dendro), Kazuha (Saccharose). I think Kazuha would make a good teammember, scince he boosts EM and can infuse his Ult with for more Hydro, also VV boosts Dehya Vapes.
Ahh, and for the DPS build: Dehya, Furina, Barbera (Kokomi), Kazuha (Saccharose). Basically you divide Jeans tasks to Barbera for burst heal and Kazuha for VV. Then Kazuha takes over the tasks from Ayato, meaning more Hydro with ult infusion and some DMG for bad situations. Also he boosts EM for vapes and can group enemies.
I play game for short time in commparasion to most. But since i started i did fall in love with Dehya in first sight. Sadly i did miss her banner And weapon. Then i did "loose" Raiden Wish And did get Dehya. I have pretty strange pulls, ONLY 3 five stars on account, skyward pride, Raiden and my love Dehya.

I don’t have Dehya, I thought I’d eventually get her from losing a 50/50 but I still haven’t got one copy of her. Nevertheless this is a great guide and I’ll certainly come back to it once I get her!
Small update: during my pulls for chiori, I got not one but two copies of Dehya. I couldn’t be happier. I now have a c1 Dehya and I immediately went and pulled for her weapon on the chronicled banner! I am now building my Dehya to be the best she can be. Thank you for this amazing guide.
I need a beacon rerun. Recently got c1 and use her every abyss. Getting c6 bennett made her alot more fun in overworld aswell

I want to make classes, character, jobs no one loves at every game powerful and great.
That is a personal challenge or smth like that I like to do. So I can say that I want to get her and make her strong like other characters and maybe making a little showoff :D

C2 Deyha with R1 Beacon, don't regret getting her & hope to get more cons soon. Still play mono pyro a lot but she can clear floor 12 so if it ain't broke...
