Rourke is always flat-footed, never has two hands on the stick, and is never a threat. Absolute liability.
He should spend more time practicing and less time setting illegal screens and trying to get other people hurt 🤷🏻♂

found it interesting Jimmy wasn't in the booth, and not even in the stands. He must've literally walked out after their game. Shelfy with his hockey experience is just a better commentator anyway for this

@@The_Abhy Ah that makes sense. I generally don't mind Jimmy either. He knows the players and the rules better than anyone, but even the last game he was commentating it felt like every 30 seconds he was going "ahh that probably should've been a penalty"
Joez has a reaction time of about 1 second.
Even the "saves" he makes he only reacts cause he feels the ball hit him lol

his other weakness is he doesn't use his legs. Every other goalie can throw their legs out to stop a ball but Joez's legs are glued together behind his body. I love Joez but the only reason he's a good goalie is bc he's a big body
Joez just doesn't have stamina for the full 15 minutes. I wouldn't either.
You can rotate the three other players up and back to give a rest. The keeper can never rest.
DaVerza may be the de facto #1 goalie but this game showed a lot of why I have Jake as the overall top player between the pipes. His distribution is so far ahead of everyone else. Light and day between him and Joez this game.
Yeah but his positioning is horrific at times. He leaves wide open windows way to often.
He hasn't really been tested as much though, since he has a really good defense
Major shout-out to everyone for stepping up and making sure this was a fun, enjoyable game. Jack and Jake specifically. Absolute class act. I imagine maybe Jimmy got some feedback and took a breather which is why he was the first captain not in the booth. Great game! Appreciate you guys as always.
This was actually a huge loss for Jack. I believe it means that if he loses against Breakdowns, the most amount of CL points he can win is +1, which would only tie Jolly. And Jolly holds the tiebreaker by winning blutzball. So I believe Rippers v Breakdowns is for Jack’s life as a Captain

That also means we will know about the title or the relegation ahead of time. If Jack loses, he’s out; if Jimmy loses, he’s passed up by Jake for the Championship (I’m not pretending there’s a chance in hell the Goodfellas beat the Story in the semis 😅)

Constructive comment for Jolly from a long time hockey goalie and coach: @ 32:56, you mention Joez "not deep enough." However, on shots like that (straight on from the slot and further out), you'd want your goalie playing further out of the net to cut down the angle the shooter has on net. The deeper you are in net, the more room the shooter has to shoot at.
Rob is so effortlessly charismatic. It's incredible. The dude exudes the "it" factor.
Joez "speed" was really exploited this game. Rob's second goal, the cross pass, really showed how behind joez is when reacting. Then Luke's crossover goal beat joez on the move.
Rob could be the MVP at the end of this tournament. He's been really solid

Man, Zo is fun to watch out there. The level of floorball play has dramatically improved

Best character arc of any Jomboy employee. His attitude in the first set of games vs him now are so different. He lost his cool once, maybe twice and really learned from it. Love to see it.
@@CRneu completely agree. I remember we got ice’s first collaboration with Jomboy and Zo is just as genuine now. These guys have found a brilliant balance between competing and fun
Zo is the most improved player in general. Regardless of the sport. I’m a fan of both his play and his awesome personality.
Zo and Jack easily were the most improved players last floorball tournament thanks to their partner. You could tell she spent a lot of time coaching them and it showed in that tournament and you can see the stuff they learned has stuck with them and they continue to improve on their own
Fun game to watch. Shout out to the 5 guys in the stands that made it seem like a packed warehouse
All I got from this is Shelfy and Jolly commentary is amazing! Can barely tell them apart vocally, but they fed off each other perfectly.
Rob is the unsung hero of this tournament so far.
This was a phenomenal game. Jack sounded really bummed out about their next match but i'm sure they'll blast it. Great booth too!

I know people have said they want Dalton to be the new captain after someone gets relegated, but I think I would prefer Shelfy. With the exception of Jack in Blitzball none of the captains this season have been a top 3 player in any sport in my opinion, and I think that’s a good thing. The idea of Dalton and Luke being able to be on the same Slapball team is crazy, and would unbalance the league. Plus Shelfy is a fun personality so I think he’d do a good job

Zo and Bobby Srirachi have been B tier players in the other warehouse sports, but have clearly found their specialty in floorball. Awesome to see
Watching Joez play goalie makes me so mad, he has terrible hand-eye yet he always goes for swat saves, dude just put ur body in the way, ur huge.
Watching Dan crawl around in 3rd period was painful. He gave the Stories too much time by poor positioning 😔
the kick overlay at 40:44 was incredible, great reference.
Some thoughts:
Two of Luke's goal were directly because Rourke was being a statue on defense. Dude has to get active.
Rob is such a good poacher and I feel like he just found it.
Both Jake and Joez looked bad in goal today.
Dan and Joez are both so immobile and don’t understand the game. Jack and Zo are so good. What a dichotomy on the team.

Two changes need to be made before the Warehouse Cup floorball, they need to round the back wall so that players can recycle the ball by whipping it around and they need to fix the cord running to the net so it doesn’t bump the ball up

Jake always plays with the absolute best spirit of the game and often comes up clutch with his own moments. Best captain in the series.

Legalizing contact I think would just be a liability. I look at this like a friendly game buds and nobody wants to get hurt
@@dyllandemouey3669 I don't mean like full on checking or anything close to it. I'm talking like basketball levels of contact. Like pressing somebody in the corners and rolling off a defender. In beer league hockey you "play the body" and you can press up on somebody, but it's totally uncool and a penalty if you come at them with speed and intent to knock somebody over.
I was mostly just trying to point out that some of the stuff happening in this game would probably be called "contact" based on some of the things Jimmy was calling out in previous games.
Does anyone know what happens if the teams are tied after the 3rd (final) period? Is it sudden sadness?

Normally in Floorball you go into an Overtime as in Hockey and then into a Shootout. I think they apply the same rules here, if I remember correctly there was one match where this happened in Floorball 2
"No I don't think anybody is gonna be ahead by two, I could eat crow tho" the story immediately go up by two 30 seconds later, at least Jolly did say he could eat crow
The floor interview with joez was electric
This was a much more fun game to watch. No complaining or boring game play from the breakdowns and I mean everyone knows what’s gunna happen when the goodfellas step on the floor😂 but I really hope this is the championship matchup
Gotta get down low and pass back up to the point and rip shots from there, also more lateral passes and one timers if you wanna score. Would love to see Zo get near opponents side close to net and back pass to Rourke, who fires at the net and then that frees Zo and Jack to get rebounds.
Does Jake have an odd shapped head? his helmet pops off all the time haha.
I believe if my math is correct, a Ripper playoff win+ a Goodfella loss ensures a demotion for Jolly (like em both, prefer Jack), while Ripper loss guarantees demotion. Really big game for Rippers vs Breakdowns coming up

captains are captaining
Jake is pretty much the best Captain. He knows how to draft and knows how to lead his team. He's not overbearing with constant micromanaging(Jimmy) and he's not clueless(Jolly/Jack)
So we'll get another non-game in the playoffs as everyone tip toes around to not make Jimmy mad. Jack deserves better.

Luke is definitely the man. He creates his own shot and has great stick handling. That’s said, Rob is the glue. He’s a total pest on defense, he’s energetic and a sniper of offense. He cleans up rebounds. And Ryan fills his role nicely. This Story team is gonna be a very tough out. They just score in bunches. Great game today.
Rippers should be 2-1 but Jimmy screwed them out of the number 2 seed I'm hoping for the breakdowns vs the rippers Jack should get his revenge
Luke went woogas mode in that final period and i loved it, sometimes these games (while incredibly fun and entertaining) arent super technical so to see Luke on his game and handle the stick so well was awesome to see. Gives me the same feeling as we Jack is on in Blitzball or Ryan in Slapball
Wow what a fun game where everyone is having a great time with excellent sportsmanship. Playing an aggressive game in an electric way with no disagreements isn't that hard if the goal is to have fun.
