I appreciate Jake intentionally tanking the WS and Umpire questions in attempt to make the score closer 😂
aka every one of these videos jake is in, he is too OP. Also Zo is a terrible host
The one tiny rule changed I'd make: Whoever is in second gets first guess every time. Gives a chance of keeping things close.
"Pat Hoberg" "On here for only good reasons" that statement aged well
lmao came to say this
Gambling but still calls a fair game.
(When he's behind the plate)
Bryce Harper famous Mormon being on the top players to have a beer with is crazy
Hes just got the bro look
"That's a clown question bro"
Jim Joyce - The perfect game missed call
I am a very much a normie and I knew that name.
I was thinking Jerry Meals for the blown Braves call 😂
Joyce was my guess for this exact reason
Yeah, he said it was the hardest guess and that was kind of basic. Like one of two umpires that ever gathered national media attention (looking at you Angel).
This is exactly what came to mind for me.
Bryce Harper as a drinking buddy? He doesn't even drink lmao
not even an Ale?
@@bearsuitattackthat's a clown question, bro
Jim Joyce was the first umpire I thought of.
-Disgruntled Tigers fan
Jake getting Baja Blasted to start the video, respect
saying that there isnt beef between the Dodgers and Giants is insanity
Theres really not much to it right now
It will never not be the most frustrating thing in the world to have people say LAD-SDP is a bigger rivalry than LAD-SFG. Quite literally the most historic rivalry in all of baseball (yes, older than NYY-BOS by about 20 years). Survived a move across the country and the records are nearly equal.
The Giants had played the Dodgers over 1,500 times before the Padres even existed. Recency be damned.
It's crazy that they were not a top 2 answer.
Who were the 1700 people that they polled?
I get they have a lot of Yankee fans on this channel so I had a feeling yanks v sox might have placed first on this pole but never in my wildest dreams did I think Giants v Dodgers would not be number 2 and to have Dodgers Padres on this list at all shows its a bunch of twelve year olds voted.
@BeatLA24 love your username... Go Giants
JM Baseball has a huge hole when it comes to knowledge about the Giants.
In the All-Time WAR draft earlier this week, a Giants player wasn’t taken until like the 9th pick and Jake took Bonds over WILLIE MAYS (who is #1).
Now Padres/Dodgers > Giants/Dodgers??
Hard to watch as a Giants fan
cubs cardinals is older
Cubs/Cardinals at 4 in rivalries is a crime. Yanks Sox is the only rivalry above that one in baseball
I was shocked when I saw they weren’t the number 2 answer
Giants/Dodgers absolutely above it
@@shilOMG nope
I wasn't really aware of that one until I met a Cardinals fan. Man, he hated the Cubs from the depths of his soul. lol
These guys always have huge gaps when it comes to Midwestern baseball
I get why the answer would be as low as it is, but among the fan bases, Giants/Dodgers is always a thing.
Yeah ask fans of either team who their biggest rival is and 95%+ of fans of those 2 teams are saying each other
Toronto. I was talking to someone local recently who is *not* a baseball fan, and he thought that the Jays/Yankees were the biggest rivalry in baseball.
Responding politely to the human in standing in front of me was a struggle. 'We're not even on their #$%^&* radar, dude.'
Even Jays and Sox I might understand but there's no way Jays/Yanks is a thing. I'd even put Jays/Mariners above it just because of the '22 wild card and the fact they were brought into the league at the same time.
@@Type666HeavyMachine Yeah, Mariners are there... maybe the A's going back to the late 80s... but if we ever had a real rivalry, it was the Expos.
😂Hey even it has some age, but as a Rangers fan I think we still have some beef with the Jays from the 15/16 and it is still valid right, but nope, even the Lone Star series won't get any love.
Is jays/tigers a thing? As a mariner fan, I wouldn’t say that rivalry is a big deal. Blue jay fans really flooded T-Mobile though, that’s for sure.
@@kylen6430 It's before my time, but... I don't think so. When the Blue Jays were created it did split a fanbase of Tigers fans in southern Ontario, and there was some contention, but the Expos were more of a thing.
13:55 bryce is Mormon he doesn’t even drink 😭
Best series on the channel tbh
How is Jose Bautista not a playoff hero? The batflip is iconic.
Cubs Cardinals at 4 under Braves Phillies is criminal.
As a Dodgers fan, i absolutely HATE the Giants, Padres arent consistently good enough for me to care
as a Giants fan, their reaction was insane
2001 WS is by far the most exciting of the millennium besides maybe only the 2016 cubs imo. Lots of recency bias lol
I agree. The 2001 WS is the best I've ever seen - and I'm a *Yankee* fan, mind you. The Tino and Brosius game-tying HRs with 2 out in the 9th on back-to-back nights (both must-win games, realistically speaking) are the most magical baseball moments I've ever witnessed. And although the end of game 7 was crushing to me, it was a fitting end to an unbelievable WS like that.
Going to willingly walk into a minefield here and say that put everything else about the man aside, W throwing a perfect strike first pitch while wearing a kevlar vest was dope and set the tone for the entire series.
Thank you for doing another one of these! I love these videos!!
Joyce was literally my 2nd pick after Angel
Jake, let it be known, i voted for Arozarena for playoff hero. not sure what sport everyone else has been watching the last few years.
Best type of JM baseball videos fr, please do them more often
so glad this is back
I just rewatched the first episode of this! So excited for another one!!
i fucking love these videos, jake and jack as well
Kinda surprised Travis Ishikawa isn't in there for Playoff Hero.
"Family Food Video" -jolly
This is my favorite series that you guys have, by far. Followed by darts.
We need more of these once again 🙏🏻
The drinking buddy list was brutal with the exception of Votto
I dig these Family Feud ones, please do more
I was screaming Jim Joyce the whole time they were guessing, like how did they not get that? Also, how did he not guess Angel Hernandez as his first answer?
Kyle Schwarber would be my drinking buddy for life lol
Now this is some great content.
“Don’t know about that one” regarding Phillies Braves? Played in the NLDS in back to back years, same division, and the Harper-Arcia drama. Also, “kinda have heard of” Jim Joyce? Do you not remember the Gallaraga perfect game fiasco?
keep em coming
I love these so much
i am shocked the umpire list didn’t include GREG GIBSON, THE HOME PLATE UMPIRE, MOTIONING TO BOTH PLAYERS
Where can we participate in these surveys?
Biggest rivalry in baseball right now is Mariners pitching vs Mariners hitting.
Phillies Mets should've been on the rivalry board; from the outsider perspective, those two fan bases seem to hate the fuck out of each other.
Honestly it’s gotta be one of the most notable if not the most notable
Yeah. Was screaming this. Phillies-braves not as significant a rivalry.
@@dipren443 it’s only been a rivalry the past 2 years honestly
@@dipren443 absolutely; it's gotta be recency bias.
Yep! Braves fan here. I hate the Phillies with a passion .
These 1700 people did my boy Randy dirty AF😟 Should be an easy top 3 here, set every rookie postseason record, quite literally, only guy to ever hit a home run and steal home, and in case you haven't checked his stats, his overall postseason stats through a considerable amount of games are, well great. Mad bum 100% deserves a spot over him, but I can't say these other guys do though. As far as modern postseason heroes go, he's a huge standout, just forgotten because it's the Rays, and I guess maybe baseball cards as well, because 2020 became a bad year and him and Yordan are severely undervalued
For the best World Series, I was thinking 2004 also, because I remember I wasn't a sports fan then, but people at work were talking about the Red Sox and the games were on in the break room...
But what I didn't remember until I looked back is that it's the AL Championship series that was really great, and they swept the WS.
David Freese embodies playoff hero because he was THE hero in the greatest World Series in history
Giants/Dodgers not being #2 is criminal, and the reaction absolutely underselling it was mindboggling.
I didn't even know that flavored sunflower seeds were a thing.
Phillies vs Braves being a bigger rivalry over either the Dodgers vs Giants or Dodgers vs Padres is crazy
Putting it over Pads is fair tbh but over Dodgers/Giants is a baseball crime. Hell putting it over Cubs/Cards is a crime too.
You’d think after last year’s ALCS people would understand that Rangers/Astros is possibly the most heated rivalry in baseball rn
I don’t get how they didn’t get Jim Joyce. He was a great umpire but known for making the wrong call at Armando Gallarraga’s perfect game. I thought for that alone he’d be in the first 3. Armando and Jim both handled the situation well after the game and the following day. Great job owning up to the mistake and great job by Armando by not yelling at him, but forgiving him
love that wolf umpire guy
Yes! I want to do another one! :)
I love Family Food videos by the Joyous Gerkin
Defs had CB Bucknor for 5th spot but have heard of Jim Joyce on highlights
Where do you guys post these polls?
Bryce doesn't drink. He called a Toronto reporter a clown for asking him if he'd take advantage of the lower drinking age in Canada. Lol so, y'all are barking up the wrong Bryce
*Bryce Harper. We are definitely not on a first name basis. Lol
Crazy Kurtis Connor shoutout at the end
I did get Jim Joyce but that missed call is burned into my mind
socket wrench?
I’m guessing the number 5 umpire is Jim Joyce for blowing the Armando Galarraga perfect game.
Edit: BOO YA!!!!
Bruh David freese is the reason the cardinals won the ws and has one of the best clutch games of all time. Yall crazy
Can’t believe people didnt think of Greg Gibson the home plate umpire when he motioned to both players
Jake saying “People are still talking about David Freese” is strange since the yanks haven’t won since before the moment 5:22
I love Jack and Jake videos and I really think they dig working together
Zo is a great host too! If only Jimmy somehow made it in, perfect video
Honestly Greg Gibson should have gotten some votes for the umpire one because of the famous line “Greg Gibson the home plate umpire motioning to both players”
Lol. Bryce Harper somewhat famously doesn't drink alcohol. Good luck having an "ale" with him. Unless it's of the ginger variety.
Jolly said Family Food. 100%
despite how great it was, I feel like all of the 2002 votes were Angel fans. It's top 3 WS for me
I’m new to baseball, I can’t wrap my head around the Sox coming back from 0-3 isn’t number 1 or two, I would say the cubs winning is for sure number 1 but coming back from 0-3 in the finals has only happened one time ever
Sneaky how you guys built a fake thumbnail to pull the Yankee/Red Sox fans in. Well played gentlemen, well played...
I want to see another one.
Cardinals vs Cubs is considered off the board? They’ve been rivals forever and still are massive rivals to this day.
People outside the cities of Boston/New York know the best rivalry in baseball will always be Cardinals vs. Cubs. Coastals don’t understand Midwest baseball.
My last guess was Tom “Asses in the Jackpot” Hallion
I was also thinking Greg Gibson (the home plate umpire, motioning to both players)
Iykyk
Mookie???? He's 31! His best seasons are almost certainly behind him!
Watching this as a Rangers fan was so frustrating immediately knowing Freese would top the Playoff Heroes and 2011 be in the top WS, but seeing Adolis get snubbed and knowing there was no shot 2023 would be up there lol
*hears playoff hero and my mind screams Travis Ishikawa
Pre guess is Vic Carrapazo (sp.) ??
I had the last ump from the prefect nonperfect game he called safe I just couldn't remember his name
Joey Votto drunk would be scary😂😂😂
Missed these vids
See ya next time Gil.. have fun sitting on the bench for the next 7 innings
jack thinking critically while jake thinks how he can apply the yankees to each question. homer behavior lmao
Randy was my first answer for playoff heroes, surprised he wasn’t on there
love the we got ice boys but they really aren't familiar with ball
I figured the final answer would be C.B. Bucknor or Jim Joyce, so I technically did guess correctly.
2017 WS was the best WS I have ever seen
Kushy Dreams is good for CBD bud but I personally wouldn't mess with Delta-8. Do your research. Its essentially CBD weed which is sprayed with a terpine which occurs in cannabis in much smaller amounts than what youre smoking in the DELTA-8 bud.
Nice to see my Cardinals finally getting some respect.
Sad to see no one mentioned Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire, motioning to both players
8:28 so true, love randy
Jim Joyce was my submission because of galarraga “Jim Joyce calls him safe”
I really thought the last one was gonna be Greg Gibson the home plate umpire.
Jim Joyce I got it. That perfect gameeeeee
Joey bats not being on the playoff hero’s is criminal
I’m biased AF but the 2002 ws was so good man lol
Jake knows so much ball guessing Howie Kendrick 1st for playoff hero
The Phillies main rivals aren't the Braves, it is and always will be The Muts
Player to share a beer with: Ha Seong Kim. He’ll probably share a dart with it
Goes together like a piss and a fart
Best part was trying to remember what I answered on the survey 😂
