Sometimes in matches i have used my weak to score nearly of instinct. But that was due to match experience in tight situations and not necessarily weak foot trainning
Best thing to improve in football is to play street football, since I started playing football in my area with the other kids (they’re 1-2 yrs younger but it’s better than nothing) outside of individual and academy training,my weak foot,my skills,my shooting,my stamina, everything has improved
The weak foot (in regards to balancing) is actually the one you don't balance on the most, so sometimes we might think it's our left foot, but it's actually our right if we use that the most to strike/juggle, so we might end up not balancing as much on our right to strike/juggle with our left foot
@@reekzino4820 I actually don't think he said that, he said "we balance on our weak foot" but my intention was to say that in terms of balancing, the weak foot becomes the opposite of what we think it is. To me weak is dependent on what we use it for. But maybe that's not the definition others are agreeing with. I think for me I use my right foot to mostly strike, but if i switched to try to strike with my left, my weak foot in that situation is my right foot because i don't use it as much for balancing as I do my left foot.
Great video. I actually don't have a weak foot because I was a Messi fanboy when I was a kid so bad that I completely trained with my left foot. Now I'm left-footed and my right is just as strong. Benefits of following greatness
I was right footed, but after meeting Maradona, (as you can see in my pfp), I automatically unlocked my left foot, (ex weak foot). I still have proof that I'm right footed bc I climb stairs and mostly jump with it.
@@Ko8la2233I just started training my weak foot I can do most important things with it like basic passes controls n a shoots if t space is wide enough but it's still not good wt trainings did u do if u don't mind telling me
I like how short and simple these videos are. They are to the point and do not overwhelm someone who is trying to find basic drill to get better at the game. Love it!
It took me years to get confident with my weak foot like I was always good with dribbling with it but shooting and passing was terrible. Only after I really focused on making it better then did it improve
Hello, Thank you @Unisport for making this video this really is helping me and i am currently unlocking my weak foot. Right now the best advice I would give is look how you use your strong foot, look at how you juggle with it and try to apply that same mechanics to your weak foot. I hope this helps you with your journey and good luck !😀
Drag back like in a game (moving away from players). Juggle reach juggling record. Dribbling like you have no strong foot (once a weak). Do skills that you can only with strong. Shooting, lock your ankle, get close to net.
Thank you I will be trying this out and hopefully my weak foot improves and me as a player overall. Thank you for these helpful videos and keep uploading tips and tricks as me and many more will need them to improve.
Guys i got injured on the weekend. I broke my big toe and I am out for 6 weeks. I am in crutches and I have looked on Google and it says it makes your legs stronger so hopefully I improve. Any tips how to come back EVEN stronger for an actual comeback season. Thank you
For real, genuinely enjoyed found this video tremendously informative and enjoyable. I always wanted to be able to do the elastico and decided to learn it with my weaker foot, I thought that if my left for could do it then it wouldn't take long for my right foot to get it. NOPE. The right foot just does not enjoy that movement for some reason, the elastico is an exclusively left footed skill for me. I thought it was just a weird exception for me but thank you for reminding and encouraging me to try learning brand new skills just for my weaker foot.
I know this problem. The most imortant thing to change is your hip mobility to unlock weak foot. Train this everyday with training on the pitch and see what happening. I swear.
I can hardly juggle but i can proudly say thanks to ur videos and some overalls ive become a better player i started finding my self doing skills i haven't even practiced now i rarely lose the ball
I have trained my weak foot to point where i've managed to juggle to 100, i can pass, dribble and my first touch is decent. Its just my shooting which is not the best
I can tell you that my left foot absolutely sucks but there were instances that I shoot with my week foot (left) and I score the most beautiful goals like the left footed driven shot to the top right corner.
I recommend to practice weak foot only passing, dribbling and shooting. My weak foot now turn into my strong foot and my strong foot turn into weak foot, sometimes I dont know how to shoot with my strong foot but I can dribble and pass
at first I was sure my right was my strong foot but recently in training, I discovered that I can shoot and pass way better in my left that in my right but I can dribble better using my right so Idk what my strong or weak foot is rn lol
I was right footed as a youngster, my first football club played me on the left and I've played there ever since I now can't tell which is my stronger foot
I have a rebound net in my backyard. I try and spend 90 minutes a day kicking with my left foot. Passes, toe kick, shots, traps with my weak foot, then I'll dribble with my weak foot. There's a sweet spot, a certain noise I'm after that I try and hit the part of the ball when I kick it. It's always good when I hit the sweet spot. It's improved, but I want to know why I'm always feeling funny in the brain after I've finished? Like brain fatigue and feeling weird.
Many people think I am left-footed but I am not. When I was a child I lost a toe nail on my right foot playing football barefeet. I still wanted to play so badly that I started playing using just my left foot. I caught on quickly and soon I was even playing wing back for teams. I find I can do some things better with my left foot, like passing and chipping the ball. I can kick the ball harder with my right foot.
Something that unlocks my weak foot is the situations where i can't use my strong foot so i have to shoot with my weak foot like one time in training someone was on my right and i was in a awkward position but i went for the shot with my left foot and somehow it was perfectly bottom corner. i do not know how i did it but i felt that my weak foot was better than my strong foot
quick question which may sound stupid but still. Do genetics got something to do in here? Like a parent being ambidextrous (even to, i think i am not), affect on a faster learning at your weak foot? As my weak foot (left one) isn't far away from my dominant foot and i didn't struggle to do some basic technics with it (principally kicking)
Genetics are always going to help anything. Some people are simply built with the better genetics. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be better than them. With enough practice and dedication, genetics and talents become less and less meaningful.
@@YeezySkeezy aight, first of all, thanks for answering my question, second, you're right! Even to i got some genetics, i wasn't able to even do a straight shoot with my left foot withouth previous practice
i can juggle to 100+ on my weak foot, in game I can cross where I want to, pass, control, shoot. My question is why though when I do let’s say shoot from outside the box in training it feels so unnatural even though more often than not I can pull it off in games? Idk of any better way to put it other than when I try and shoot or hit a long ball in my training sessions I look like a kid who doesn’t play and has no technique but if you throw me in a game i can put it where I want it.
I have the exact same thing, I think its 1) that moving ball is easier to hit (atleast for me) and 2) that in game its not forced and you pass/shoot with weak leg instincively when you feel like it
I get confused sometimes cus some games I’ll be dribbling only with my left foot and sometimes I’ll be dribbling with my right foot. But once I use one side, it tends to stay that way in the game and if I try to switch it actually messes me up 😭
Sometimes in matches i have used my weak to score nearly of instinct. But that was due to match experience in tight situations and not necessarily weak foot trainning

Same here, I got complimented on my shots from my weak foot since I've been training it. I still mess up but it's better than nothing 😂
