Production on this video was great! Kinda felt like a old school 4x4 build show without the ads! Great job dirt head shed crew 🤙
Thanks ! That’s all Cameron making me look good
Yeah felt like an old hoonigan video but off road build
I couldn’t agree more. Excellent episode!
Great episode. Would like to have seen a tad more detail on the sheet metal trimming and fab for the sliders. Over all can't wait to see more!
I love your content either way. But man does skill behind the scenes make a big difference.
Holy cow Dave stepped it up big time. Production value on this is amazing, and as always it’s not just entertainment but also a wealth of knowledge.
The music was nailed in this video! Great job. Clifford the big red Ford.
I love the production Dave. It’s came a long way since the beginning. The footage from long ago Ultimate Adventures is great. I miss seeing Pewe out there and them building completely different rigs instead of a variant of a Cummins 2.8 and crate axles. I still have hopes for Fred rebuilding the Ultimate Avalanche for a future Ultimate Adventure.
I agree. There have been some great builds over the years
East coast guys watching you cut up a rust free superduty are screaming right now
I’m sure!

I know im alittle behind but im happy to see you started a youtube channel. I was a big fan of dirt every day.
Thanks for checking it out
Nice 08 F250 Dave @The Dirthead Shed
Thanks, Dave! Now hubby wants to cut the bottom of his truck off and make it a rock crawler! 😂❤❤❤❤
If that thing doesn't have trailing arms and bags on the back I'll kiss your...wait...I'll be surprised! Looking forward to the series, Dave!
Was so awesome to meet you at Duct Tape Drags Thanks for Signing my wifes VGG sun hat and Thanks for Taking photos and Signing My duct tape drags shirt Dave you are super cool and Chill Bro maybe one day me and my wife can Help Build something together with you 0:00 @The Dirthead Shed
Dig it... can't wait to see this evolve.
It gets pretty good
🦅🇺🇸💪😎👍 I can hardly wait for the next video
You didn’t sound like as much of a California stoned surfer on this one.
Great job!!!
I must be getting old
Thank You for sharing your video Dave !
I love this. I bought a $500 '01 superduty a couple of years ago. I am $15k into it. 37s locked w onboard air and honda bucket seats. It is a beast!
I bought a brand new 04 F350 with the v10 6 speed. I beat that truck since the day I brought it home, and it never skipped a beat. Many dually burnouts with that truck. I miss it very much. Workhorse, going out truck, commuter, and the limo at my wedding.
Great episode as always Dave 21:00 @The Dirthead Shed
Thank you
@@thedirtheadshed your very Welcome
My favorite thing about this truck is that you cut the doors at the bottom because modern trucks have the tallest bodies.
They sure do
Stoked on the build. Love the vehicle choice….and dig the show soundtrack🤘😖🤘
Thanks! It has good flow
Fantastic! Looking forward to this build.
Fantastic video
Thank you
I appreciate that you always look for the goofy oddball projects.. because I'm the same way. Your channel is getting better with every video! The editing is top notch too.
“High cut doors” that’s cool.
All about the details
Me and my wife always make friends everytime we go Out Offroading no matter if its a small town Event or just driving and going offroading and exploring you are right Dave 4:00 @The Dirthead Shed
Great throwback videography!!! That 73 hilux is one of my favorites
Great episode!
Thanks!
After I discovered the 3M Headlight Lens Restoration Kit - 39195 I've never replaced a headlight because of how old they look, give it a try, you will not regret it.
Editing was excellent
Ford F250 with portal boxes was cool
Dear dirthead Dave, can’t wait to see what you do with this super duty! Your music is really great too. Great job on the channel man it’s excellent.
Much appreciated!
The good ol 7-mile/Riverside ORV park
Ol reliable
ooh , Dave has a buddy filming for him .. that's progress
Big time!
Well done video Dave!
Thank you
I'm digging the new intro and show format it reminds me of something from powerblock TV .
Lovin louie v-ten
A red regular cab long box. Makes me think of the Rubicon DED episode, one of the best!
Your choice of music is on point!
External roll cage seems ideal to me
Yeah. They definitely help out
If you ever need to scout a rig down in Boise again, let me know! Happy to take a look and send video!
Nice, I appreciate that
Ready for more!!
Coming up Friday!
Keen as!
Cheers
Ive been waiting very impatiently for this video series
BANGIN
Thanks!
Awesome
Thanks
Well thought-out Dave! 💯
Totally tubular Love that saying Going to have to use it one of these days Broo 😂😂 15:20 @The Dirthead Shed
Cameron has been trying to catch it in action forever
@@thedirtheadshed lmfao to funny 😁
Awesome video. This thing’s going to be Rad!
I love how far off-road tech has come, but there was something so special about early UA days. Smaller axles, smaller tires, less HP, it was just such a different hobby/sport back then.
When you started to wrap up the video i was like WAIT WHAT haha
im always amazed how much you get done and have a full time job.
excited to see this build
Reminds me of the welfare duty on pirate, can’t wait to see it finished.
I miss the pirate days
Top notch filming and editing on this one buddy!
Thank you.
Why are we so pumped for this! Foolsize!
Really nice job dudes. I enjoy being in the shop with you.
Thanks Jason. Stay rad
That Shed shirt is sick!
Dave, love the feel on this video. Great project, real world build. Cheers.
Going to be a good one 👍👍
As someone from the rust belt I always cringe when west coast guys cut into a not rotted to hell body! Keep up the good work Dave!
I looked at some Midwest trucks and decided that was a bad place to start
@@thedirtheadshed it's just weight reduction! Less you have to cut off!
Man can’t wait to see this one
It is a cool rig now
Awesomeness 🎉
Awesome video loved it.
Thank you
Tubular indeed 🤙🏾😎
Totally
You and Fab Rats should do a build together!! Your awesome Paul is awesome it would be awesome!!
Paul is a good dude
You really upped the production on this video. It’s awesome seeing the evolution of this channel. Keep up the awesome videos!
I LOVE IT!!!!!😎👍
Heck yes!
Cheers
Great production! Makes it such a pleasure to watch!
I appreciate that. But don’t get TOO use to it.
In my opinion, that was the best episode yet. Keep up the good work Dave and Co..
Did a great job this video music production intro outro all around 10/10
Grandparents: Internal or external roll cage on the Conestoga wagon? Also, epic comment on Roadworthy Rescues. "This is what your show is all about?" That should be a T-shirt.
Glad you’re digging the stuff
built dave tough
rebadge the grill to DAVE!
Hahah
Dirthead Shed absolutely wins the award for the best music!
Thanks dude!
Love it, great video and I am glad we still get to see you great projects. Would love to see you and Fred get the dynamic duo back together on a build.
Love this! It’s gonna be sweet.
Xo cage all the way save the body keep all the room in the cab and look baddass all at the same time
I agree with the first 2 . But I have never been a fan of the looks
LOVE THIS!!
I've been so excited for this build!!
It gets good!
Christmas came early and Dave got himself a camera guy and editor. Who what a step up in quality!
I’m still doing most of my own editing. But I get to have Cameron on board for a few. Like this series
Great video. It is so nice work with a solid rig to start with.
I can't wait to see the rockers tie into the body and cage tho.
Awesomeness
I think 40 inch tires on 17 inch wheel would be better more side wall then with 20 inch wheels steerling axles can take a ton of beating and keep going 5:50 some awesome plans for this rig @The Dirthead Shed
They are always good if you’ve got the clearance
@@thedirtheadshed right
This. Was. Epic!
I can not wait for the rest of this series. One of my favorite fabricators with a world class production behind him. This is what we've been missing and didn't even know it.
I like the banter with the camera guy. Keep you on your toes. Love your builds. They're always quirky even if they're similar to something else they're not. I agree with the Jeeps. JK's and JL's all sorta take the same build path. I love all the quiirky stuff on UA. Has anyone ever taken a 4banger on UA?
awesome
"Did we just become best friends?!" Great new look
Thank you
man this is going to be good
Do both Internal and External Roll Cages Dave 13:00 @The Dirthead Shed
Too much weight
everything is so massive in 'merica
It is…. You should see the new Toyota Tundra…. Looks like a bloated whale
Love this build, out there truck and the style of the video is so good great music too
I really appreciate your ability to see potential in what most people disregard.
Make that beast a short bed!!
Not this one…
Fuck yeah Dave, you and your production crew are killing it. 👏
Thanks so much
Love the idea of something different than every other Jeep out there, but having experience running a V10 Ford, I hope you have plans for extra gas, cuz she's a thirsty ol' girl!
Interesting build - my buddy had three of these - engines blew up pretty consistently. A co-worker had the 6.4 diesel, which caught fire. Always loved the interior of these trucks compared to the chevys but damn those engines just weren't cutting it. I would love to do a 7.3 or Cummins swap on one of these.
Sounds like your buddies are hard on equipment
As a former owner of an 08 f350, I'm really looking forward to this build. I'm glad to see your truck is a gasser and isn't cursed with the 6.4 diesel mine was!
With all the emissions requirements and fuel sensitivity, gas has been the way to go for a while unless you're towing super heavy.
The V10 is literally the best engine in this body style! Good choice!
Thanks!
Black rhino wheels are sweet
They are one of my new favorites
@@thedirtheadshed have you used these beadlocks before Dave and how well have they done if you have?
I hope you eventually do something with your fab skills on the front suspension. Even the aftermarket 4 links aren’t very good for articulation. Been waiting for you to do a SD build though so this is awesome!
