bruh, i really, REALLY apreciate this guide, nowadays most people just stream playing rengar, record the stream and upload it with a clickbaity title that goes like: rengar full guide, and i doesnt even talk about rengar, it talks about everything else but rengar and i hate that xd, that why i jreally apreciate that you took the time to make a good and useful guide, thanks a lot (english is not my native language, sorry my misspelling xd)
Seriously such a wealth of information you've so eloquently put together, and youve given it out for free on top of that. Really respect the effort you put into this guide, its super informative and clearly speaks to all your experience you have playing this game and this champ. Love that you touched on the mental aspect of climbing, it applies to so much more than just ingame and in league as well. Thank you!
At 0:37 you can see his challenger account is in the "Rengar's Swashbucklers" ranked bracket. That's so rare to get your main actually, such a cool little flex imo
this was an incredible guide, so much useful information that apply to every other jungler as well. I'm a Shaco otp and was thinking about picking Rengar up, and not only did you help me get Rengar started, but I also improved my Shaco games a ton because of it. such a well made video, that's a sub from me
Didn't get through the whole video yet so excuse me if these two things are mentioned later. #1 Q attack speed for the second auto does NOT get consumed if you leap after hitting a Q, so you are able to get two autos (Q,leap,AA) off with the enhanced attack speed rather than just one. Useful for clearing or extended early fights in/around bushes where one extra auto can make all the difference. #2 Rengar's AA timer starts upon leaping, rather than when the leap AA connects. Max range leap thus makes your AA after leap come out "faster" So at slightly higher attack speed it is quite fast to add a second auto after leap before resetting with Q. At high enough attack speeds (around ~1.8 or so, need to check exact numbers) which is easily reachable with emp Q/lethal tempo/items/whatever, upon leaping you will have both leap damage and AA damage happen simultaneously. You do have to make sure to wait for that to go off rather than Qing and cancelling it preemptively. Doesn't sound like much but every little bit of damage helps in close fights, where one auto is all it takes to make a difference.
Thank you for this vid, i'm a midlaner turned jungler this season, and really decided to focus on rengar, been struggling a bit but you put a lot of things into perspective I was able to turn the game into my favor early on after watching this vid!
This is literally the best champion guide I've ever seen, it is so complete and well done it's not just you stomping on low elos while slightly talking about what you're doing in the game like a lot of guides on UA-cam. I'm a bronze Kayn main and I really want to get good at Rengar because I love the champion, he's hard so the road will be long but I can do it, and with this video it will be even more easier. So thank you for that really great guide !
Thank you very much! I will try to absorb all the information and improve. The most important thing that I took from the video is the right message of the approach to the game! You helped a lot!
insane guide dude, thank you so much this was so helpful. multiseasonal advice, I like that it informed about s13, but there's so much game knowledge and general rengar information that it will be applicable for a long time. Even if meta/game changes happen
Such a detailed guide that basically covers every single aspect of the game! A short question regarding the recent meta change, do u still go death dance or mal after they both get nerfed?
New to league completely and rengar is gonna be my first proper main, I’ve already gone from iron2 to top of bronze 4 (with +17 -27) but I am getting better, watched this video and am gonna start playing more games now to try and make it
Very well made vid. Goes into what to build and what to do, even explains the why and the how. I started playing rengar because of your vids. Most of my games are infests, here's hoping this helps me improve. Thx fir all the effort you clearly put into this.
@Glube I mean. I've inted a bit less? My difficulty with rengar is his situational engage for an assassin. No bush no ult no engage. And again his engage is a 100% thing. You go in and it is hard to go back out. I can take care of a priority target just fine, but I will most likely die afterwards.
Highly recommend re-assessing your early game for this so it never gets to teamfights. But in teamfights - yah it comes down to jumping on the right target at the right time. But based on his advice, if you ulti and don't see a clear win in a teamfight, just go farm a side lane. I wave = 125-200 gold, that's 1/3'd a kill and more XP. So my advice, if you find yourself dieing in a teamfight, ward baron, push top, back when you get countered, push bot (while your ward is still up) and if they go baron, just end the game bot. :P@@yasserblidi9729
Thank you so much for sharing your game knowledge with us pusi and thanks for talking about mindset you are completely right, i was master s12 and demoted to dia bcs i tilt fast and flame alot and get banned over and over and stuck in diamond bcs of it but i think i have different mindset now bcs of what u said my goal is to get grandmaster this season and you just gave me more than what i needed for it by making this guide. really well made vid man! thanks a bunch! nice music, really informative. I would add something to your thumbnail to really emphasize that this in an in depth guide, and not just another vod review, because the vid is 40 minutes, and I honestly thought it was going to be another bait fake guide. but turns out it was really good! you might get more recognition if the title and thumbnail clue you in more to know its a really in depth guide. there are so many fake clickbait "guides" and it is sad this great vid might blend in with them. again super good man.
The guide is very well made. I wish you state every little detail for beginner people. Like "Squishy team" means two squishy? or 3+ squishy? Or Import codes for items on the Mobafire guide etc. Thank you for the guide! Edit: You didn't mention Spear of Shojin, Goredrinker, and other items you mentioned in your Mobafire guide; why?

I trust you brother, I will practice everything in this video because I really want to climb out of silver, it is extremely hard to not see teammates' mistakes in this rank but I will do my very best to focus on my own.
I highly recommend sticking to a strict regimen of ALWAYS watching your game back - this is how I got from silver to gold. You will easily be able to see when you are taking red that you should have gone top instead of krugs, or mid instead of raptors or wolves.
Also if you leap from the bush at max range you will auto attack them faster cuz your timer starts mid jump. So if you wanna maximize damage you leap AA AA cancel with Q and then play from there.
I knew like 80% of the things you said but then you said something about mindset and thats pretty difficult for me tbh. I don't know how to fix it man. Also; good video man didn't expect 40 minutes to pass by so fast. keep it up
Great guide! Silver 2 rn, one thing I really struggle with is the midgame where there's no objectives spawning soon and most t2's are down + the enemies are grouping. It feels like there's nothing to do especially when my team won't group to push down towers or force fights because if I sidelane then the whole team collapses on me and my team doesn't push the other side of the map at all. I've lost too many games that I was very ahead because of this. Thoughts?
you have to play side and absorb pressure, if they rotate for you, you either get a pick with your ultimate or your team pushes on the other side. Some games they don't but most games they will and thats how you win when you are ahead. And make sure to go for every objective instantly
Amazing video thank you. streams are always a fun time as well. one question i would have is do you ever still like going ghost blade into certain comps or champs.
Isnt it better to smite the gromp on level two instead of the blue, to make gromp walk to you? I mean it propably doesnt save up that much time, but still might add up
Swapped from adc to jungle after being stuck DI for a while, picked up J4, i'm picking up rengar at the moment in case j4 becomes unplayable after nerfs and to avoid dodging every j4 ban, i'll edit this in a month to see what's up
Dumb question. I use conqueror because i am a bit bad at Rengar again and scrub noob said that this keyrune is good for beginners. Did you support this or should i really always use First strine or electrocute?
if youre a bad rengar player you wont make good use of conquerer since it only gives full value if you know how to proc it and stall out fights. Id say go always first strike or electrocute its objectivle better.
Amazing guide man! I wanted to ask, what do you think about rushing or just taking Youmuu's Ghostblade in general? I've seen some other rengar players recommend it.
eclipse, bc, into er and ie is also good v more tanky enemys. Even the rune: Ingenious Hunter does it very well with the eclipse and er passive since they lowered the eclipse passive anyways. ^^ i guess its a try guys!
In the first clear, does it really matter if u jump on the buff (lvl 1) from the bush after you already started it (besides when at 0 stacks to get an extra)? Is there an actual benefit to jumping from the bush timewise if u don't get a stack from the jump?

good guide pusi, i rly liked the detailed macro guide and your thoughts about win conditions

Such a detailed guide that basically covers every single aspect of the game! A short question regarding the recent meta change, do u still go death dance or mal after they both get nerfed?
I know this was 6 months ago but yeah, they are still the only viable survivability items on rengar. Otherwise you just die if you get cced.
*Thx for the guide, i want to main rengar but my rangar is very sucks, that guide will help me a lot :D*
