This song is not really known by many people. Everyone knows lady in red but this song is so clever and true at the same time.. I luv it.
Chris de Burgh in the 70s was known for his great storytelling, he was call a troubadour, from the French name of these wandering musicians in the middle ages. Much of the songs on the album Spanish Train are like that, ,most notably A spaceman came travelling, The tower, Patricia the stripper (very funny), and older albums like Crusader are also like that. In the 80s he changed a bit his ways after getting smash hits like Lady in Red and became less interesting.
