If I had to summarize this video in three words I would say "study in China"
your points don't make any sense
1- new culture, i mean most of the people want to study abroad, one of the reasons is to explore a new culture, so that's advantage to most of the people
2- you say, if gotta have an open mind if you wanna study in China, - How is that a disadvantage? are you mainly talking to narrow minded people?
3- homesick, it's applicable for any country around the world, you only miss your friends and family when you're in China?!!
4- Food? you admit yourself saying it's not a disadvantage, since the Chinese food comes in different varieties, how is that a disadvantage when you say it's an advantage?
5- cost? you say it's not expensive there in China and things are affordable, how is that a disadvantage?
6- quality of education, you're saying there are many Chinese universities ranking the best unis worldwide, again, is that a disadvantage?
7- life is moving fast, well China isn't on another planet, we all have equal 24 hours everywhere.
pffffft.
Many of these disadvantages apply to virtually any country. They are good things to know when considering studying abroad.
Yeah, and most points are just so superficial. The food? C'mon. Tell me about the culture shocks, how people expect you to treat them, moving around speaking basic or broken Chinese, unspoken rules...
@@driss3946 Sichuan Cuisine is not for everyone tbh but yeah this claim is a tad ridicilous
China is not good for those negative minded people. Some people may make videos of their experiences in China but trust me bad things happen with bad people no matter Which country you go to. And there are some people who expect too much from China but let me tell you something, not all students can make the effort to go to the western countries because of its expensiveness, especially in the US but China provides to these students a very high quality of life at a very low cost.
And plus those disadvantages are more of advantages for me
why ? I did not get you sorry
@@saicharan4769 He sees it as an advantage to him and not disadvantage
Ha ha ha, you are absolutely right. Going to university in China is a totally different experience than going to university anywhere else. But believe me, it's worth coming to China, because the Chinese people are very nice, and the food is very good, and the point is that the epidemic is safe.
And now China's development speed is very fast , it need a lot of talents , and have a lot of job opportunities

But my opinion is biased because l fell in love with the place the first time I went there 30 years ago before all the new developments.
Today I guess all Chinese cities are quite similar. They all have good parts and not so good parts.
@@syedmarwan8069 I hope you didn't happen to land in China during this current lockdown.
But I think things will improve very soon. Unfortunately, many shops and businesses are going to close down for good.
But at least the people will be safe 👍
The one thing which I think you forgot to mention about studying in china is the linguistic barrier which isn't in other countries I think. Very few people there understand English language and Chinese isn't that much easy to learn. But if you consider other European countries, even with different national and official languages, local community understand English on a greater extent.
I am really willing to study in china❤❤ China has always been my dream country to go to... I love the lifestyle, lively hood ,the people just everything about the country . hopefully I will get the chance to study there ..I'm still in high school .. Thank u for the video though💗

How do you feel about the possibility of studying in China with increasing diplomatic tensions. As a dual US / Uruguay citizen graduating from a Uruguayan university with a degree in international relations, I'm really keen on applying as soon as I graduate Jan 2022. I know it's speculative, but what are the chances I may be able to go physically. I'm scheduled to receive both doses of Sinovac vaccine this month here in Uruguay and have at least an HSK 1 maybe 2 level of Mandarin. Thanks for your content!

Saludos

Studying abroad in general and culture shock applies to any country…not just in China…so, not sure the point of the video…
I studied in 3 different countries including China. Your highschool life is never coming back no matter where you are. 🤣 It doesn't matter in the end where you are. It depends on where you have money. Having money can make a 3rd world country fun. 🥳 Back in the UK, you might not do so well. All better lives are imagined. My sister is filthy rich and own a house in London. Me, however, don't have that kind of money. So saying a country is this or that doesn't really tell you the truth of things. Believe me. I have been around. I can say China is the place to be. Unless you are rich already. Life in advanced countries are so expensive.
I agree on the 3rd country point 😅 I have a rich friend and I feel like we live in different countries lol money make everything easy
this video was all advantage 😁
What about studying in your country !!!!??
Am currently studying in china and i do agree with the disadvantages you have mentioned here .thank you for sharing

Hi. Congratulations to your wife. That's very good accomplishment.
Just curious to know which option your wife finally took up.
For future career wise, I think the China option would be much better by a huge margin.
But it would take a lot of getting used to. It may not be easy to adjust. But once you go through all the initial hurdles and difficulties, I think you'll like the place.

How much is Medical School in China?
Did you get the answer or not yet?
As of 2024 China only has 300 foreign US students. 20 years ago it was 15 thousand.
I am Chinese, but actually I think the most important thing is Chinese educational quality is not good. China is a developing country, if u study in the university of Beijing, it is not as good as study in a good university in US. U do not need to pay much money, but if u study in ur country, u are also affordable for ur tuition
How can I apply

Not one of these reasons was china specific. It applies to every other country. Some real disadvantages in china would be tge difference of workload or maybe money issues etc
culture and personality differences...
I'm still waiting for the disadvantages

Schools in China are really stressful
Junior high school and senior high school are under a lot of pressure. College is very relaxed because I come from China.

Hi
Sorry if it was ur experience
Let's summarize this video in three words, "study in China".❤😂
it not important to study in china, but its important to learn mandarin, considering the number of speakers and career opportunities, even ivankas daughter speaks mandarin
And the rich culture will be an advantage for Indians
Seriously 🤣😳,are you mad? This happens in every foreign country wherever you go for studies not 🚫 just in china.
Awh
are you forced by ccp to said these?
i am from china
I can list 10 more genuine disadvantages of studying in China the ones you just mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg and not the real problems
Do then 😂
Missed UK culture, drinking, and.... Nothing else I guess mainly just ur family and friends (from the UK and this is a joke ffs)
its greater than all European countries
I see no disadvantages here
Disadvantage of studying in the UK: getting stabbed
That's not a stab wound, that's a tattoo of freedom.
I think the circumstances at the moment are less favorable for students who want to study in China. Nationalism is on the rise.
Depends on the person. Don't go walking around talking critically of the country, and most people won't care about you. If you speak Chinese and look like you understand the culture somewhat, then you will be welcomed. Even if you're American. They are proud of their country. And sensitive to the heavy criticism from outside the country that's been on the rise.
@@lolturtle13thanks dude ❤❤
Actually, You are not suitable study in any country, totally your question.

If you are a chicken living in your backyard and happy with that, just don't travel out and study anything.
i dont like china
You forgot the fact that u have no rights as a foreigner , and can be kicked out at anytime without any reason
Yes, China is dictatorial, as a Chinese I can attest to this, the government doesn't let people sleep freely in the streets and in bridge holes, they make people rich through forced labor, people lose those freedoms, the west Obviously more free. Drug dealing in China gets the death penalty, crime gets caught, gosh, that shouldn't happen in the free world, I love American life, free street camping, and swinging like a zombie.
Sinophobe spotted, opinion discarded
You have rights and you're not gonna get kicked out without a reason 🤦♂️
You basically just mentioned every benefit of studying abroad LMFAO. This video is complete BS. You study abroad to experience a new environment and new people...
The big problems in china to adjust in that environment culture, relationship,language... Europe Union is best from this, easily Access and it's culture , social norms and language is dominance on the whole globe and settlement is easy rather than china.
Basically if u don't know about China don't go 😂 (every disadvantage is such obvious things you should consider before studying abroad or ven moving)
There is alot of disadvantages to study in china... just dont think twice about studyin in china
Why ?

Trust me who are reading my comment.
For international students Chinese study system is very low, they don't care about you and your future, you lost Ur money and time and they will very carefully destroy your future. Most of the student from China who are studying China or finished study from China you can ask them, they will not respect you at all, all the good things only for Chinese student not for international students,
Also in pandemic time never ever get admission for online class , online or offline education system is useless ,
student are suffering can't tell anything to anybody,
Tell me more everyone here seems a propaganda bot help
@@giovannileo8869 what do you wants to know? Ask me,
This is not propaganda this is truth, ask any student, everyone should talk about this, in pandemic people suffering in every way of life especially in fineness, but what university doing asking full tuition fee with some useless recorded videos 😂 by watching those shit students will be doctor or engineer 😂,
After finishing study in China they can't get job they have to study again for job in there own country, so why all this nonsense? All the time students spending for nothing but a piece of paper called certificate 🤣,
I am not against any one I and we believe that they are capable for doing good, if they do that i think more students will go China for study but not now.
lol, don't you know that online class is all over the world during pandemic.
