We lost my daddy, my 88 year old mother has moved in with us and I have lived through so much temptation to fall apart. But!! God is good. He is getting us through! Amen!! I’m so glad you did a video and I found it! My dad used to build log houses, and even though I’ve never lived in one, and probably never will, I love them, and they have a special place in my heart. He’s in his 80s now… My sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. The things you have in your daily life as reminders of him, and that you use when making your beautiful crafts, are so lovely. I hadn’t seen your channel before, but I’m very excited to watch more of your videos. I loved everything about this video from start to finish! The lighting and sound were great, and things that some might see as imperfections (e. g., ceilings yet to be painted, hands😊), are, I think, wonderful things to see and know that everybody else has those too, and “life” (we literally also have a patch of ceiling to paint that might never get done as well). I can’t wait to see more! Thank you so much for sharing your time and beautiful projects. Sorry this message was so long, but I was so moved and wanted you to know, for what it was worth.😊

Glad I found your channel. I don’t think we are warned enough how hard it is to take care of our parents as they age. And how scary it is because we see our path. But you’re so right! God is good and in control ❤
So true! I was able to see my Mom visit and bring joy to her Mother, but it was not really a reality to me as I was a young married with a child on the way. I look back and see how she did her best to bring joy.

I just found your video tonight. I so enjoyed seeing what you stitched. I have been stitching since I was about 8 years old. I do plan on starting my own floss tube channel soon. You go girl!!!! I was hesitant at first about doing videos because I was so new at returning to cross stitch and I had so many other hobbies to share my time. I encourage you to jump in and let me know when you post one. Think of it as just sharing what you would share with a friend who came to visit. You'll get an occasional negative comment, but that's rare. I just delete it and let the voices of those who want to visit with me sink in and those are the ones I think about when I'm chatting away at a screen!!!!

Hello, this is Carolann from Duluth Minnesota, you are such a joy to listen too and see. I just discovered your UA-cam, had fun and welcome back. Busy indeed you were, OH!!!😮 Snow, for we were the city that had what, think 135" of snow last year. Every other day in March it snow, this year a whole think only 1'all winter and not much COLD. ❤😊
Wow!! You musta had cabin fever last winter with all that snow!!! Glad it's a bit more mild this year for Minnesota. We've got some warm days now and my plants are starting to peek out of the dirt. I'm so glad you found me and hope you come back for more visits!!

Cindi, I'm so glad you come by for a visit and had such a good time. That Pineapple quilt is one of my favorites and I love the scrappyness of it, too. I updated the description in the video to share the book as well as there's a video thumbnail with that quilt that I chat away about it even more!!! I'm thinking of how I can show pictures of the cabin and if I'm brave enough to to it. Kinda hard seeing how lovely it is and knowing it will be out of our lives soon. But, it was a good part of the story of our lives!

I just stumbled upon your floss tube video and what a treat. The auld lang syne piece has a very touching story and perhaps you'll decide to frame and leave up all year long, not just at New Year's time. It's a piece with a wonderful remembrance of a painful, but beautiful time.
Well.....I read your comment when it came in a few days ago and it confirmed something I had been thinking about. I was playing around with some of the boxes I had and it fit on the top of a green one I had painted, but I was thinking, would that be weird to have it and use it during the year and not just New Years. SO>>>>thank you, I completed it yesterday on the box and it's partly thanks to you!!! I'm thinking I should be able to do a video tomorrow and I'll share your sweet comment!!!

How wonderful that you tried to find me!! I appreciate that! I'm glad we came to Colorado. We were able to settle in so quickly because we've known this town since my parents moved here in 1995 and my brother is up in the Denver area. It's amazing country. I love that the river runs through the valley and we can go shop at the grocery store and pop over for a beautiful walk along the river.
Oh wow, living in the cabin, sounds great! Oh wow what a lot of changes! And hey love your hair. Oh wow that’s a recuperation for sure. Good for you and yes that’s an accomplishment for sure. Cindy, Thank you for your encouragement and support. On my older videos, I wanted to be careful about sharing too much about my Dad's challenges while he was alive. He was so private! But we are settling in here and love this dear town that my parents found first.

Welcome back,so nice to see you again..I didn't live in a log cabin,but where i grew up we had to carry our water from a spring to do everything,we also had a outhouse until i left there at 18 years old,after i graduated high school.We lived in N.Y.State in the country,so i know what you are speaking of..

I enjoyed your video so much! Loved your expression of faith at the end. I lost my husband 4 years ago to ALS and you are right - God is so good and he will never leave us. He guides us with his mighty right hand! My life is nothing like I thought it would be either. I’m at an age that I thought we would be busy planning our retirement. Instead I am a widow. (Still hate that word so much) His path for us is seldom what we think it will be. Yet I have seen His power, strength, comfort and blessings amid the storm and can say without a doubt that He walks with us through it all. I’m so sorry for your struggles over the past year + and for the ones that still seem to be ahead for you. Prayers and hugs for the journey. Back to stitching - I seem to share the same taste as you in stitching and look forward to future videos. (I need to go back and watch your previous ones now.) 😊❤

I’ve missed you so much. I was ecstatic when I saw you. Life is hard for all us these days, but keep the faith, because the wars that are raging are not ours to fight, but We will be the victors. I’ve placed my 51 year old daughter into his hands because what I’ve been doing hasn’t worked. Her decisions have put her in a bad place, and my mama heart is broken because I can’t fix it. But I know who can. I think you have demonstrated extraordinary faith when you made your move a couple of years ago and I’m so happy you’re doing well. Gods blessings to you and family. ❤️❤️
Sherry, thank you for your testimony of trusting our Heavenly Father!! My two sons are walking a path in life we would not have chosen for them, at all!! A friend shared the song, Softly and Tenderly with me and that has been my prayer. That Jesus will call them home to the return of their faith to Himself!
