Such an enjoyable video! Added some things to my Attic shopping list. I love Mary’s Botanical Bee finish - now I have to stitch it! I always love seeing what Jean and Carolyn are stitching. Can’t wait to be back and see all of you in August ❤️🩷
Nan I completed One Nation. Loved it. Gift for my brother who started his Army career at West Point. When he finally retired it was a gift for him. Started and completed during year two of Covid and I highlighted the States he and his family lived in.
So wonderful te see you all. Loved your flosstube and all the Beautiful projects you have showen. Thank you so much. On my wishlist .... to visite your Beautiful shop...one day🙏 greetings from the Netherlands. Best wishes to you all🌷
IT WAS SOOOO GREAT to see you all again! And the ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL stitching stuff! As one of you appropriately said, I was gobsmacked!!! And now I have a HUGE list of things I need to order! Jean, it was especially lovely to see you again. You remain in my prayers. Have a fabulous holiday. I hope to do alot of stitching too!
Wow. Your stitching is amazing!!! I am put to shame. I haven’t stitched for about 20 years and starting on 16 count Aida. I don’t know if I will ever make it to linen but I do like the look of patterns finished on linen.
So wonderful to see all you beautiful ladies with your amazing projects and offerings for all of us--I miss you! Thank you for making this video. I'll be down there Saturday, June 8, and hope I get to see everyone. 🥰
Loved seeing all your beautiful work. You may have encouraged me to try a 46 count for a smaller plum street! 😅 Thank you ladies. I’ve loved my stops at the shop. I have a July birthday, so I’m called to do Patriotic pieces, especially flags and eagles. God’s blessings to you all.
So lovely to see the ladies from the attic. I have spoken to Mary on the phone and she was so helpful. I got an email to say Miss Jean Lee has posted an item to me and I can’t wait to receive my wonderful Sarah Braizear pattern. I’m not sure I’ll live long enough to stitch it but I’m living in hope! 😂. Thank you for sharing a very entertaining video. x
Wonderful to see you all, absolutely fabulous stitching projects,so much eye candy want it all,Love and hugs to you all, have a good week,Thankyou for sharing 🪡🇳🇿❤️
So happy to you all again! Wonderful stitching and so much motivation to do more! Who needs to sleep or eat? Let's just stitch! Working on a couple of patriotic pieces right now. It is especially important right now as we remember those who have given all--my cousin died in Afghanistan. I still miss him. I stitch to honor him.
Oh my gosh happy day to see all of you ! Special hello to Mary who takes care of me and my spastic ordering with grace and charm always . Of course as she said in a recent email “ you’ll probably add to your order “ and well after this video, yes I will be! 😂😂
Mary and Nan were soooo helpful when I visited the Attic this past Thursday. Thank you ladies for helping me pick colors, linen, and floss. I had sooo much fun looking through all your wonderful finished stitches hanging on the wall. It made my trip to Phoenix extra special.

That was BIG fun! (Non gorgeous stitching related! Can we talk about Caroline and Jean’s ALWAYS beautiful red manicures?!? 🥰 Hand modeling in your futures?)
I would love to stitch the beautiful pin keep ,but l have cataracts in both eyes which really impairs my vision ,would that be ok on 18 count Aida ? Prayers for you Jean .🥰
Lovely video, ladies, such a joy to watch, thankyou! Could you please tell me what the sampler hanging in the wall behind you is? the one with the red house behind Caroline.
Quite by chance I ran across this video a couple days ago and thought I would chime in on the color issue regarding The Dorcus Haynes Sampler. Years ago (mid-80's) when Darlene was researching samplers (at the V&A Museum I think) is where she discovered Dorcus. Regarding the selection of colors, I can state with absolute accuracy that Darlene did not personally substitute her own colors. She made special mention in many classes that her color selection had been made and matched from the back of the Dorcus sampler to best match the original. So, no colors were her personal selection. I recall, from the time, that the museum administration was very particular in how the sampler would be released to the public and required oversight of the methods, means and final approval of her presentation. Darlene was given expressed permission to only release Dorcus in an educational environment. So, just a bit of long-lost history on the piece. Missing her more every day, best regards, Chris O'Steen
