Playing adventure games is very time consuming and that's why I appreciate this episode. I would also like to contribute my favourite games like the Goblins series, especially Goblins 2 by French developers. Worth mentioning is Flight of the Amazon Queen, for Indiana Jones lovers, and Sixth Sense Investigations for British humor lovers. That's a topic for several episodes. Thanks for your efforts.🌻
I would definitely, definitely recommend KGB if you can get it. One of my all time favourite Point and Clickers. Plus the soundtrack is absolutely outstanding!

Can I suggest you another very nice adventure game? Nippon Safes Inc., developed in 1992 by Dynabyte, an italian software house (also available in english), which has also a sequel (The Big Red Adventure, from 1996). Oh, and also Hook by Ocean Software it worth playing! :)

Whilst not strictly point n click , my favourite games were Heroquest I & II . I also spent months playing the leisure suit larry series. A couple of games that I had on C64 , not sure if they ever made it to the Amiga , were Killed Until Dead and Yes Minister . Ahhh happy days !

I had Dreamweb when I was a kid, the instruction book was wild too. Had a diary of one of the characters and it just fell into madness. This has just sold me on getting one of these.
I'm sure we all have those memories of these adventure games where because you didn't get that necessary item early in the game. You're screwed and have to start from scratch or if you were smart you did save often.
The Amiga was criminally underrated !! All my friends had a mega drive or p.s and I had Amiga and they couldn't understand why I liked it so much. But this had the best Games ever!!! I wonder have you seen Dungeon quest? As a kid I loved this one!! If you haven't played it's a must!! A pretty rare Game tho. Very good atmosphere.

Love the video! You can EASILY do second video for more click and point adventure games on Amiga. There are so, SO many more great games out there: Heart of China, Rise of The Dragon (yet another GREAT Cyberpunk adventure), King's Quest series, Leisure Suit Larry series, Space Quest series, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Big Red Adventure, Sixth Sense Investigations... I could go n forever. Someone already mentioned Dark Seed and let's not forget Code Name Hell Squad! A very unique Amiga exclusive point and click adventure with a twist. The game came long after Commodore's demise in 1999 if I remember correct. It didn't sell much for obvious reason and not many got to play it. There is also unofficial Amiga port of Maniac Mansion 2: The Day of Tentacle with 256 colors AGA graphics, speech and everything. And I already mentioned The Adventures of Willy Beamish before. It's pretty unique cartoonish adventure. EDIT: Almost forgot official Amiga port of MYST! There is also Amiga ports of Simon The Sorcerer 2, The Feeble Files and Nightlong! Ok, now I 'm done. :)
I appreciate this comment. It was a challenge to get this recorded I tell ya. Point and click games are such time sinkers. Trying to capture snapshots was very difficult but fun at the same time
Nice selection of games there. I mostly played the lucasarts games back in the day. I need to try the kings quest, space quest and police quest games. Another great game is Dark seed. More of a horror point and click game.
I got into point and click adventures on the Amiga, commodore 64 and Atari ST. Space Quest is another that was great especially the third as that was the first one I had first and still remember. (There are 6 of them I think)
Does anyone remember an adventure game for the amiga, you started off in your locked bedroom, eventually getting into the house and then through the basement, ended up going down a long flight of stairs with a code to get through the door (could never find the code, likely copy protection), would love to see how that game continued past that point
Hi Gemma. Love your videos, but feeling a bit overwhelmed with all of the downloadable packages out there now for the A500 Mini. Could you recommend a setup for a 32GB USB stick?
I grew loving Point and click adventure games mostly due to the Amiga So enjoy the monkey island series, beneath the still sky, dreamweb plus also few Hidden games like flight of the Amazon queen and Indian Jones fate of Atlantic and legend of kyrandia But also the leisure suit Larry (mostly 5) and billy Beamish And Simon the sorcerer but late on that as didn't got introduced to that game til they released the demo on the Amiga CD
@@TheGebs24 agreed as we wouldnt have games like monkey island and games after that...plus can't beat the big old boxes with the infamous code wheels you get too when I see certain games I forgot show up on UA-cam I'm like "oh yeah I remember playing that when I was a kid" i tend to sit next to my dad when he plays them and I try and help him how to do certain puzzles etc
I played all my point & click advs on PC. From the early to late 90's. I also liked it when they were on CD, disk swapping on real hardware is really annoying. The PC had all the games and the best visuals and voiced soundtracks on most games that weren't really old. Curse of monkey island had amazing visuals and sound. I guess it's better on the mini as no disk swapping but the lack of voices on disk games would annoy me now.
I tried that but I couldn't get the controller and the mouse to work at the same time *and* the game ran too quickly; both of those problems made the game unplayable. :(
