I love the way they gloss over the two mix bus compressors in a brief half second: the DW. Fearn VT-7 and the Dramastic Audio Obsidian. Both amazing boxes doing what they do brilliantly, albeit differently. Great tour; Dave is chill and funny, and the space is simple yet elegant and inviting. Well done, lads. Cheers

@@chinmeyswayThe wood slats create a type of Binary Amplitude Diffuser. The concepts have been around for a long time, and Acoustics Insider, us, and many others have incorporated them into our designs. The spacing and design used here in Dave's room comes from the design of our Scatter Face product.

Great history and setup. The piano is actually a vintage Mason & Hamlin. Had one at a studio I use to work at.
You really manage to find all the really chill people. Have you run across anyone yet who's super high-strung? Haha. Man, I love this workflow. Multi-use spaces are fantastic. What a gorgeous studio. Thanks for sharing!

Mr. Workflow. "I would sell my soul" got a big laugh from me ... yup, that's apparent. The work that goes into the sends, templates, control surfaces and automation really pays off. Nice. Awesome space, acoustic treatment, flexibility, space efficiency, ergonomics. Sweet. THANK YOU for the tour!

Amazing space wow
I keep my old phones for guitar fx pedals and mini synths/drum machine. its a shame moog dropped the filtatron app, but i like a lot of the korg apps. that way your phone can at least always be an instrument or fx as a second life if you stop using it as phone.

What's on the desk? Cork? Would have liked to have heard Dave's thoughts on taming desk reflections & how effective he found the "cork" treatment. Great video though! 👍

What was that thing he was using to automate complex commands in pro tools? (Ie creating and coloring tracks, adding a bunch of sends, etc)
