Thanks mate. Glad you liked the review. It is one of those,"why?" kits. I was looking for potential loads for either one of my German trucks, or railway wagons, when I spotted these going cheap. And I do like my "odd" subjects. But, it's true, unless you have one of Italeri's S-Boots, or building a dockside/factory dio, these don't really have a "regular" use. 😉Cheers!
Hi Pete. Thanks for the review. I have some resin CMK 1/72 EMC mines (24AUD!!!) as I have the Revell S-100 in this scale. (Which is a nice kit). Also some Art Wox wooden decking. The 1/35 Italeri S-boot looks great but it is very large! (and not cheap!). Their latest re-issue comes with mines which is nice. (350AUD!!) The numbers go on the mines as per the box artwork 🙂. Production numbers ? I imagine they would wear/wash off in the ocean pretty quickly. Cheers Matt.
Hi Matt. These mines are an unusual subject, which is why I like them. I actually missed out on a 1/35 scale italeri S-100 a couple of months ago on Ebay. And it was cheap too, only $50 starting bid. But, at around a metre in length, and no where to put it, I hesitated too long, and it went off real quick. Can't remember how much she went for, but it was definitely a bargain. Still, with no where to put it, not a great loss! Cheers mate!

I know, she's an interesting subject for a kit. This is what we need. More of the "oddities"! Cheers Bob!
Great review Pete but I can honestly say that I can't think of a single reason that I would ever need to buy this kit.
