Good points being made. I think Boston is a physical mismatch for GS, but GS can go on one of its runs with Curry being the main flamethrower with his anywhere in the gym range at any time. Boston can struggle offensively at times. They are doubling Tatum & Brown can be inconsistent so I wouldn't count out GS. I think whoever wins tonight's game wins the series

the problem is that i only see one golden state jersey around the ball when it's up for a rebound when thru out the playoffs and season they were a gang rebounding team so many long rebounds they usually get there not because there already leaking out.

You need to start attack the paint to give more space to the outside shooters. Thats why ppl keep saying inside-out not outside-in. Both teams should get tough and show us a great game tonight.

Watching this video after Game 4 of the series and Patrick Beverly was on spot with his argument. JWill understands basketball but no where close to Pat Bev. Playing Looney more than Draymond has proven throughout the series was more effective and that Warriors can outplay the Celtics.
Game 3 might have been the first sign of the Celtics wearing down the Warriors. If that trend continues and the Celtics win the series in 5 or 6, it will be because the Celtics are a bad matchup for the Warriors(and everyone else really).
That’s cause the warriors started out bad..if they keep it close they’re good

The only way I see it makes sense for someone like Kuminga to guard JB would be just to play physical and not worry about playing more gritty with JB since if Kuminga gets in foul trouble instead of Steph and Klay that puts the warriors in a better position to win since last game warriors got in foul trouble early

A big problem imo are the warriors rotations, where kerr will put steph on the bench at times when hes NEEDED in the game. You can’t let someone go for 21 and then bench him in a FINALS situation. When the warriors are up in game 3 near the end of the third quarter, you dont sub people out, LET THEM PLAY.

One thing about the Celtics they are one the most balanced teams in the NBA in terms of offense and defense and usually those teams wins the championship, that's a fact.
And the Celtics are a younger team overall between the two teams right now but at the same time it's not like the Warriors are that old but the Celtics are the much younger team with less mileage on some of their players or most of their players.
Overall I have been rooting for Golden State just before this series began and still continuing. To me Curry and Klay would have to go for 40+ points each as much as they can this series to possibly win it all and it may not be enough because they still have defend too because the Celtics have players who could really make you pay on the offensive end.

True, but they also got lucky. Hard to see how they beat the Bucks were Middleton healthy. The Heat were depleted w/ all 3 playmakers (Herro, Lowry, Butler) injured. Lowry missed the 1st 2 & was a shell of himself, but Heat probably still win if Herro doesn't get hurt. Not that he shot well, but he draws attention on offense to get easier shots. Heat were 2-1 when Herro was healthy. And went 1-3 once he got hurt. And now they caught fire from 3... Have hit 16 3's per game at 42.3%. Regular season & East PO they make ~13 at 35.6% & 36.3%.

I disagree though. Warriors played the best team in the playoffs (not GS or Boston) out of all of them - The Dallas Mavericks. They had the best performing player in the playoffs too, Luka. That team was also defensively strong and well coached. I don't think you could call Brooklyn at all competitive. They weren't that throughout the season and neither Kyrie nor KD played like a top 10 player. Not to mention, they had no defence.
I don’t see how the warriors have been significantly control of the series at all, game 2 was the game, but game 1 celts had a lead going into half and won by double digits and the only point of control for the warriors for that game was the 3rd, the only thing they have controlled consistently is the 3rd quarter, game 3 the Celtics were in the lead the whole time until the warriors gained a 1 point lead in the 3rd and then got dominated in the 4th and lost by double digits. The warriors have had control for one game that is it. I have seen the Celtics be in control for the majority of these games i also believe the Celtics either had the lead going into half going into game 2 or were only a few points down. The warriors are not a better team if Steph curry is off the floor, the warriors wilt and cannot keep up.
It’s been the 4 quarter where the warriors have struggled. They’ve had leads in the third but fall in the 4. 🤷♂️

@@creamated986 not really game 1 the Celtics won the first half by 2. Not a big deal. Game 2 the warriors dominated the entire game. Game 3 they made tons of runs and took the lead in the 3rd. Lost it in the 4 like game 1. They are losing the game in the 4.

Celtics have not let up on the warriors and game 3 showed that game 1 was not a fluke as the Celtics absolutely dominated the first and second quarter while only losing the lead once for about a minute in the 3rd before dominating the 4th so stop downplaying how good the Celtics have been playing against the warriors and making it seem as if the warriors are or should be in complete control.

I've seen a lot of NBA finals and I can tell you straight up, the Celtics are no joke on both sides of the ball. I honestly just don't see Warriors have enough Firepower for them. the only thing I can see this game or momentum switching, is if one of their star players get hurt, or Draymond does something tremendously dirty, and get them out for the rest of the series. other than that I don't see it. Not only that these guys are big and can move I just don't see it.

i'm rooting for the warriors, but i really think it's a matchup issue. steph going off just to keep them in the game (except game 2). the celtics look too big, strong, and athletic. the warriors offense isn't getting the kind of easy looks they usually get, and instead, are shooting lots of contested shots.

All of you people think that you’re geniuses that noticed the Warriors wasn’t there. Fact is, the Warriors lost that game because it’s in the plan. No team can win all games in the FINALS! Looking back in the other series, teams that blew out Warriors ended up losing the serious. All the games Warriors lost were like that, defense was not there, just like the last game in Boston. No concerns needed and Warriors will win the series / championship ring. Just stay tuned and enjoy the rest of the games, fellows!
