Answer, it was Smallville's Season 4 in an episode called "Krypto" that introduced the dog as the super powered dog, but after that episode, the dog lost it's powers, and he remained thoughtout the series as the Kents' family dog named Shelby
Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner one of the green lanterns, Isabela Merced is playing Hawkgirl, edi gathegi is playing Mr. Terrific and Anthony Carrigan is playing Metamorpho
The guy with the black T on his face is Mr. Terrific. His character appeared on CWs Green Arrow series "Arrow". In the show, he was a tech genius that invents his own gadgets. It'll be interesting to see James Gunn's take on him.
Gunn has stated that when Superman arrives on the scene, there are already established superheroes in the world. Guy Gardner is a Green Lantern. Hawkgirl and Mister Terrific. The guy Superman is fighting in the baseball stadium is Ultraman or possibly Bizarro Superman. A clone of Superman created by Lex Luthor. As for the trunks, Gunn wasn’t going to use them until David Corenswet (Superman) convinced him that Superman should wear the trunks so he would look more friendly and somewhat goofy to kids so they wouldn’t be afraid of an alien with god-level abilities. It also makes him look kind of like a wrestler. Back in the day when Superman was created, the outfit sans cape, was reminiscent of the old circus strongmen. You can google images if you’re unfamiliar with the concept.
You're right; it is Ultraman. There's another image that shows him from the front with the "U" on his chest, and the uniform is the same. This is James Gunn we're talking about though, so he's probably a clone of some kind created by Lex or Simon Stagg. Ultraman is from Earth-3 in the comics I believe, and I seriously doubt Gunn is going down the multiple Earth route this soon.
The fact that they opened the trailer with Superman bleeding on the ground give me the most faith I've had in a Superman movie in forever. So many movies show him as being completely invincible to anything, but Kryptonite, which is not true. He is invulnerable to most things Earth based, but if someone is as strong or stronger then him, he can and will get hurt. That was the worst part of Man of Steel and all the fights, especially against Zod. Neither took any damage when they should have. They both should have shown some damage and blood because they were matched for strength. This movie showing that Superman will get hurt (probably against Ultraman, who is on par with his strength) really gives me hope that we finally have a movie that understands Superman.
What is Oak on about? Christopher Reeve's portrayal of Clark and Kal-El is the gold standard to illustrate why people don't recognize either persona as the other. Yes, he looks similar, but Reeve completely changed his demeanor and posture to the point even knowing as the audience we see two distinct characters. Watch the scene where he's about to reveal himself to Lois but changes his mind. In one shot with nothing but his acting skill he transforms from one to the other. The only other one I've seen come close is Tyler Hoechlin, but even his Clark is understated and he still looks exactly like Superman. This looks like it might be the closest to Reeve in that regard. I like that he didn't get huge like Cavill did. Superman's strength comes from the Sun, his density, and his character, not muscles. It's also nice that Will Reeve has a part in the movie.
That scene always gives me _chills._ He literally changes from Clark Kent into Superman right there in front of us, just by changing his posture and removing his glasses. I send it to anyone who says the disguise wouldn't work lol. I even believe that Lois wasn't 100% sure till that moment
Absolutely agreed. I responded on another video with the same because Christopher Reeve's Clark vs Superman is the definitive on how physicality can make someone look completely different.
I don’t think Oak is knocking the concept of the Clark Kent/Superman dichotomy in the OG movie… I just think he’s commenting on how refreshing it is that “visually” Clark Kent’s different look is a bit more drastic. This only helps with the believability that Clark is a different person than Superman.
Gunn said that his family adopted a dog while he was writing the script. The dog had a rough past and was kind of a nightmare at first, and he had a thought of how much worse it would be if the dog had superpowers, so he included Krypto haha. Apparently Krypto is going to be a bit of a troublemaker dog 😄
Coy isn’t really up and coming, WB/DC announced an official DCU video podcast and coy is part of the team so he’s got like an official Gig breaking down comics and the DCU for DC so that’s really cool. Coy rules tho so the shoutout is cool but I wouldn’t really consider him up and coming since he’s always on one of the biggest reaction channels and now is part of official DCU podcast
The heroes we see: Hawkgirl (who you guys seem to know) Guy Gardner (Green Lantern who's most know for being a massive jerk. Caused Batman to lose his cool) Metamorpho (the guy with the messed up face, can turn his body into various elements) Mister Terrific (the guy who was protecting Lois, the third smartest person in the world who uses technology) According to Gunn there are already heroes in the world, Superman is just the latest to appear.
Superman from 1938 to 2006 had almost 100 different costumes. So when "fans," say "He needs to have a different costume" We need to ask them "With one"? Also "Kindness in a world where kindness is seen as old-fashioned" J. Gunn. And The villain in this movie Metamorpho.
@@TheRealGSmith In Bambi, the dad (or mom? it's been a while) dies in the first few minutes of the film after being shot by a hunter. Bleeding is a normal part of human life that children wouldn't be afraid of. If they can handle (and have to) death, they can certainly handle the level of blood from a nosebleed.
@@MrBrock314 It was Bambie's mom and I'm not a huge fan of that movie. And sure, children can handle violence (I'm assuming Superman didn't get a nose bleed from running into a door), but that doesn't mean every violent movie is suddenly a family movie.
@@Kamandi2 A Morningstar has a spherical head with spikes {like the rays of a star/sun} but can be on a handle like a mace or a chain like a flail, which in itself is a sub-type of mace
Krypto is a pet to Superman - you wouldn't really call him a sidekick who comes on all his adventures lol. Also Krypto/Shelby first appeared in season 4 of Smallville...and the guy with the mask is Mr Terrific and Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner and he has that exact haircut in the comics too!
Speaking about Superman's trunks, James Gunn said because Superman is an alien and has superpowers and shoots lasers from his eyes, all of which can be scary, that they wanted him to look like a professional wrestler, so kids aren't afraid of him. He dresses in a way to be a symbol of hope and positivity. So they decided to keep his wrestler-style trunks. I like them.
They're iconic, I don't know why people want Superman to be scary, he CAN be scary but only when he NEEDS to be, like when Joker came to Metropolis people. were upset saying he has too much color in his suit and he doesn't look intimidating enough, THAT'S NOT SUPERMAN THAT'S BATMAN, Batman is supposed to be scary and intimidating, I didn't hate Man Of Steel but Superman isn't supposed to be a neck snapping anti-hero, he's supposed to be HOPE NOT VENGEANCE
Great reaction! A couple points you guys mentioned: 1. Yeah, this won't be an origin story. Gunn has said he won't do it for the big dogs like Superman and Batman because everyone and their grandma knows it. 2. The Green Lantern you see is Guy Gardner, he's always existed in the comics, he's an abrasive dick who thinks he's badass and looks goofy because he has no self-awareness, he has the over the top bowl cut in the comics too. 3. That robot you see is probably Kelex, his father Jor-El's personal robot assistant back in Krypton. The Fortress is a lot more than just an ice structure in the comics, it's a place for him to gather his thoughts alone but also contains the vast knowledge of the universe his parents studied and also functions as sort of a museum of Superman's treasured possessions, be it little souvenirs he keeps from the villains he beats, Kryptonian artifacts and many service robots.
Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner, a very annoying but powerful Green Lantern. Yes, Krypto, in the comics, is a Kryptonian dog. The robot was Jor El's assistant on Krypton. The brother with the mask is Mr. Terrific. PS. I love Superman's old school suit.
15:14 - i think, it is Metamorpho. He is played by Anthony Carrigan. I won't say if he's a hero or a villain)) 16:04 - it is Mr Terrific. He is played by Edi Gathegi. As for the green lantern, played by Nathan Fillion, it's Guy Gardner. If anything, these are not spoilers, this is open information that James Gunn himself distributed. The reaction is great, I'm also very intrigued)
Also Gunn said it was David who convinced him to put trunks on the costume. “We were trying on all these different versions, and we screened tested with trunks and no trunks,” Gunn said. “And one of the things David said is that Superman wants kids to not be afraid of him. He’s an alien. He’s got these incredible powers. He shoots beams out of his eyes…He’s incredibly powerful and could be considered scary. He wants people to like him. He wants to be a symbol of hope and positivity. So he dresses like a professional wrestler. He dresses in a way that makes people unafraid of him, that shows that hope and shows that positivity. And that really clicked in for me.”
The MUSIC and Little Krypto barreling across the frozen tundra like a 'freaking freight train' when called my his suffering master is what clinched this trailer for me, I had tears in my eyes being a dog lover as well, and I'm a 65 year old man who grew up reading all those old DC comics and I am super-hyped about this film, I have a gut feeling Director Gunn is going to do a great job in his LONG over due homage to the actual Superman comic books of old. . Take my money I'm ready to see it now! 😁
This teaser trailer was brilliant, and yes you should watch the Superman & Lois show as it just finished recently... I think Oak would really like the themes, and how well it shows who Superman is - as a person, as a father, as a husband, as a hero. The show balances the family dynamic, and the superhero action quite well.
I’m glad that I grew up with Christopher Reeves Superman even though I’m a 1997 baby. For me Christopher Reeves is MY Superman for YEARS, even now at 27 years old. Honestly when I first saw Henry Cavill’s Superman trailer I wasn’t convinced, It’s just me y’all because I was a hard Christopher Reeves Superman fan, BUT seeing this?! Yooooo I was elevated! I’m beyond excited! Even though they have a different take on the original theme song, it hit me with a massive nostalgia. (Though I was a bit disappointed that Sasha Calle is not James Gunn Supergirl, I like her take on Kara El in the Flash movie, but again that’s just me.)
Everything already looks great. Just one minor thing: I wish there was a red streak/blur when Superman flies at high speeds. That would have added an extra comic-y texture to what already’ a going to be the best Superman movie ever. Now it’s time for the DCU to shine ✨🫵💥.
Replicating the comics exactly wouldn't necessarily make a good movie. What does the blur do in real life? This is intended to be a grounded Superman movie. Yes, Superman, the other heroes and villains are a bit fantastical but I'm not sure how blur would improve Superman's abilities. In regular human sight, fast things aren't blurry, they're just fast. The blur is static comic thing to show movement. On video, it's unnecessary as you can show the movement instead of the implied movement.
The best thing about this movie is that it won't be an origin story, James gunn has already said that the new dcu takes place in an already established universe full of heroes and villains. We actually already got to see a bit of that world with the creatures comando tv show.
14:16 pretty sure that’s metamorpho. It’s already confirmed he’s gonna be in the movie so it’s gotta be him because of the purple. He’s usually a hero not a villian btw
I have read the blue eyed guy with the wrinkled face is supposed to be Metamorpho. I believe when you frame by framed you can see his different colored shoulders. Can't confirm though
I'll let someone else fill in the stella cast of characters that were shown. My pickup was watch how Clark walks around the Daily Planet. The hunched shoulders, the stooped head. Great physicality that helps hide in plain sight. Also as shouted by yourselves, get on the "Superpets" reaction video!!
james gunn introduced us in this world wherein superman emerges as new superhero in a world wherein the justice society like mr. terrific, hawk girl, guy gardner as the green lantern are already superheroes. can wait to watch it.
I love that. They said James didn't want to do the trunks at first and then David said we need to have the trunks because Superman is this alien with all of these superpowers and he doesn't want to scare the kids and so he dresses like a wrestler would dress and kids aren't afraid of wrestlers. Something on those lines that dude's awesome
Adding Krypto to this movie might have been the best thing Gunn could've done....it gives us something we can relate to and grounds the Character of Superman ah lil bit. Also as Wrestlers you might appreciate the reason Gunn chose to keep the underwear is because knowing he is an unknown super being to society he wanted to dress like a wrestler to appear more likeable. Nathan is portraying Guy Gardener from the comics ( a Lantern). Mr. Terrific, Hawkgirl and Metamorpho round out the rest of the super characters seen.
nathan fillion is guy gardner he is a green lantern, the guy with the blue eyes is Metamorpho i believe he is a hero in comics but i might be wrong and the guy with the black mask and the "drones" is Mr Terrific great character i love it
for the guy who’s not a big comic reader, Gunn said All-Star Superman, one of the most beloved supes comics, was a tonal inspiration for this script. it’s an animated movie too (there’s also great JLA cartoon eps that showcase how great supes is that yall could react to!)
Krypto is supposed to be a boyhood dog primarily in the Superboy stories. He's shown in the 60s Superman cartoons that precede the Superfriends shows era of Saturday morning cartoons where they had a rotation of Superman, Batman, Aquaman animated shows. Maybe the wrinkled face guy is BIZARRO
Krypto the superdog also appeared in the live action show of Titans, and he also appeared in Young Justice animated series. There was a whole comic book run of Krypto the superdog and he appeared many times alongside Superman in the comics. Yes, he's always a white dog, more looking like a short haired lab - but James Gunn based him off of the look of his rescue dog, whom he adores and I think that is very cool. I also love the attention to detail of Supes covering the girl's head. The brightness of the suit and the trunks that Superman is wearing was actually the idea of David Corenswet. James Gunn was actually against it initially, but David convinced him because he said Superman is a very powerful alien and he thought bright colors wouldn't scare the children. Also the trunks on the outside would make him look like a wrestler, which would be less intimidating for the kids. I think that speaks highly of the actor himself and shows how heavyily involved he is in playing the character.
As soon as this trailer came out I was waiting for y’all to react to it! As someone who loves Superman I’m very excited for this movie, this whole thing feels like how Superman should be. Idk if you guys are planning to watch any stuff about Superman to get ready for the movie but if so definitely watch Smallville and the new Superman and Lois show. They both do a really good job at introducing you to Superman’s character and what he stands for. They’re a good way to learn about him when if you don’t know much about him.
There are also good moments in the Lois and Clark tv series. I always really appreciated it when Clark told Lois that Superman is what he could do , but Clark is who he really is.
nathan fillion is guy gardner green lantern, the dude with him is Mr. Terrific and the guy with the messed up face is Metamorpho (played by anthony carrigan aka NoHo Hank from Barry) he is also a hero.
So to your point, one of the main reasons people don’t think Clark Kent is Superman is not just the glasses, it’s also his personality, he is a huge dork, he is shy, his mannerisms are awkward, he even hunches a little and all of that combined is what makes people skip over him, how could this very awkward and clumsy guy be superman? I just think it hasn’t been properly portrayed since Christopher Reeves ( and Tyler Hoechlin on tv). In this trailer you can even see that his suit is baggy and ill fitted, probably to hide his frame too.
My favorite Superman line was from a comic, All Star Superman I think. He had just saved a young boy's life and the boy says "Thank you. I really like your costume." Superman then replied, "Thanks. My mom made it for me."
That line was from the pilot episode of "Superman and Lois". The scene was a modern recreation of the cover for Action Comics #1, the first Superman story.
The guy with the twisted face is Metamorpho, a man who was mutated by an artifact he was paid to retrieve by Simon Stagg (it's worth noting that, when we see Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner they're all in a Stagg Enterprises building).
James Gunn said the story is focused on Sups, Louise, and Luthor. The rest are mostly part of the story Hawk Girl, Mr. Terrific, and Guy Garner(The 3rd Lantern after Kyle, and John in which will be partners in the "Lanterns" TV series). The Trunk Decision was requested by David, because he wanted the kids to see him more as a wrestler than an Alien/God like figure
Reason why there is 3 lanterns is that, there are already established heroes in their Universe like the Animated Justice league, it's just that Superman is the new kid on the Block. Batman already had 4 Robins at this point Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, and His Blood Son Damian Wayne which is the main Robin of this Universe. Batgirl I assume it's still Barbara Gordon or Cassidy Cane (kid of one of Batman's teacher)
David Corenswet, the new Superman Actor, was the one who convince James Gunn to add the trunks back because he believe Superman despite being an OP alien he wants to not be scary looking for the people or even children and the trunks will make him look goofy but at the same time a friendly superhero. Because of that, it sold me. This is the start of DCU so they added the other heroes but won't be much in screentime but just to introduce them but won't be pull the focus away to Superman.
The chemistry between David Corenswet and Rachel Brosnahan already feels electric! Excited to see how this fresh take on Superman will redefine the iconic character. The visuals in this teaser are unreal!
my god this trailer felt so nostalgic!, it had bright colours! it didnt seem depressing and lifeless are we finally going to get another good Superman movie, also this is the first time any movie has got the Clark vs Superman looks different enough where you wouldnt be able to tell, like man of steel didnt even try xD
14:15 That is actually a superhero called Metamorpho, otherwise known as Rex Mason. He's basically a shapeshifter who can also alter his body and surroundings into a wide variety of elemental compounds. 15:05 Not to worry, that's not Cyborg....that's Michael Holt aka Mr Terrific, another hero, considered one of the smartest people on the planet, and uses a combo of normal fighting and a lot of tech. Another nice addition they've made to the costume is the yellow S shield on the cape....that was removed for Brandon Routh's suit in Superman Returns, it was absent for all of Henry Cavill's various suits in the Snyderverse, and I'm pretty sure it's not on the suit in the CW shows. The last time that yellow S shield was on the cape was the Christopher Reeves movies iirc; a nice little nod back to those days (and to comic accuracy, since it was there in the comics the whole time).
Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner, he's a member of the Green Lantern Corp who is sort of a loose cannon who doesn't work well with people. Isabella Merced is playing Hawkgirl yall already know her. Edi Gathegi is playing Mr. Terrific (who's using the force field at the end.) He's basically an extremely athletic and intelligent rich guy who has "drones" called T-Spheres that can do whatever he wants them to. Anyways, the line up is STACKED for this movie. Absolutely cannot wait.
This comic based movie is comic-ing so hard 🤘🤣 OoOo I spot Hawk Girl 👀 I was a Hawk Girl stan back during the Justice League animated series, so I'm excited to see her brought to life 😱
The guy with the T pattern on his face is Mr. Terrific, not Cyborg. I know very little about Mr. Terrific. I just know he was in the Injustice movie, and I think he's the smartest, or one of the smartest, people in the DC universe
One of them really needs to rewatch the scene where Christopher Reeves playing Clark Kent takes of his glasses and physically transforms into Superman on screen. His body language and body posture alters on camera, in shot. That is how you show the difference between Clark Kent and Superman.
The costume of Superman was based on wrestlers way back in the day. The other characters are : Metamorpho, Hawkgirl, Guy Gardner (Green Lantern Corp.), & Mr. Terrific.
Reeve, Routh and this guy are exactly what I see in my Superman with a special mention of Dean Cain. The others weren't it for me. I'm looking forward to this and am finally really excited for something again, in almost 10yrs. I'm sure James Gunn will hit out of the park and I'm certain this is one that could join the billion dollar club.
Krypto's best live-action appearance (and had perfectly comic book -accurate casting)was in the live-action Titans series; Nathan Fillion is playing the Green Lantern named Guy Gardner (look him up); "that guy behind him" is Michael Holt, aka Mister Terriific..the World's Third Smartest Man, and leader of the super-team, The Terrifics.
That jellyfish looking thing was in the first image of David in that room putting on his boots. It's when Lois will find out his dual identity. Apparently his suit will get charred by the Kaiju and it seems to stay that way for most of what we are seeing for now.
Gunn pulled from All Star Superman. That's what the Superman robots in the Fortress look like in that story - including the blue cape and the "S" shield. Kelex (who was probably the robot in the animated Death of) is usually legless and floats around - no cape. In the late 50s and through the 60s Superman had robots that looked identical to him.
I do believe that was Otis from the Walking Dead, which I love because he looks like an average guy. Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner, who is a Lantern. And yes, the hair is comic accurate lol. the guy with the barrier around him towards the end of the trailer is Mr. Terrific

@@OMGitsShrimp he’s at 2:02
The guy with the black T on his face is Mr. Terrific. His character appeared on CWs Green Arrow series "Arrow". In the show, he was a tech genius that invents his own gadgets. It'll be interesting to see James Gunn's take on him.
In the comics he is also physically fit, like Batman level.
@robert_bbiii he's like a weird combination of Iron Man ingenuity with technology with Batman level fitness, dudes one of the most underrated heroes.
@@GreyMagee74 oh, i heard bout tech & immediately think of forge from x-men😅
I didn't even connect they were the same person. I forgot that was his name.
Really weird thing is - this trailer in the THEATER has a different shot for Mr. Terrific. Only thing different.
The yellow sun makes them invulnerable!
@@cdubbart Point missed completely.
6:26 Love the shoutout for Coy! Always love hearing you guys shouting out those up and coming content creators 🙌
Reel rejects is far from up and coming, they’re huge, but I know what you mean lol.
Up and coming?😅
The heroes we see:
Hawkgirl (who you guys seem to know)
Guy Gardner (Green Lantern who's most know for being a massive jerk. Caused Batman to lose his cool)
Metamorpho (the guy with the messed up face, can turn his body into various elements)
Mister Terrific (the guy who was protecting Lois, the third smartest person in the world who uses technology)
According to Gunn there are already heroes in the world, Superman is just the latest to appear.
The guy with the black mask is a superhero named Mr. Terrific. He is one of the smartest man in DC universe
Which*
He is a hero not a villain!
This looks bright and colorful and fantastic. Krypto for the win!
He's such a good dog. That dog will make DC a billion dollars. Make a Superman movie that kids will actually want to see, what a novel concept.
Yes, what with all the spitting blood - FOR THE KIDS!!
Oak and Mason were both correct, that was a Morningstar which is a type of mace.
I thought the difference between a mace and a MorningStar was a maze had a solid handle, and a MorningStar was on a chain
That's the green lantern, Guy Gardner lol
Cant wait for this!! A Superman that actually is all about love & hope finally...Lets Gooooooo!!❤💞❤️
Great reaction! A couple points you guys mentioned:
Souvenirs from the villains he beats? That's a serial killer trope....
I won't say if he's a hero or a villain))
16:04 - it is Mr Terrific.
God I hope they watch Superman and Lois
The guy making the shield with the black T on his face is mr terrific.
Mr Terrific - probably best recently known from the character in the Arrow tv show.
Another reactor on another reaction channel stated perfectly: I’m a Superman fan in my heart but a Batman fan in my head.
Hi Lashie!
and in the topic of super pets supergirl has a super powered cat named streaky! which i hope gets introduced in her movie
Love this newest adaption of John William's theme of Superman. Goosebumps
Did Bro just say “a ring emitting kryptonite”? 💀💀💀💀
I mean, there are all sorts of kryptonite weapons historically. Airborne gas, bullets, etc. A ring wouldn't be out of the question.
14:16 pretty sure that’s metamorpho. It’s already confirmed he’s gonna be in the movie so it’s gotta be him because of the purple. He’s usually a hero not a villian btw
It is Metamorpho played by Noho Hank from Barry
That dog is going to sell a bunch of toys.
I love that the first "superhero" thing we see Superman do is save a little girl.
james gunn introduced us in this world wherein superman emerges as new superhero in a world wherein the justice society like mr. terrific, hawk girl, guy gardner as the green lantern are already superheroes. can wait to watch it.
15:13 Metamorph
15:55 Mr. Terrific
You guys should really watch Superman and Lois. Its one of, if not the best piece of Superman media ever made. Its a masterpiece of a show.
Agreed. Gunn said this movie was a lot more about the humane aspect of Superman, and what shows humanity more than man’s best friend?
nathan fillion is guy gardner he is a green lantern, the guy with the blue eyes is Metamorpho i believe he is a hero in comics but i might be wrong and the guy with the black mask and the "drones" is Mr Terrific great character i love it
for the guy who’s not a big comic reader, Gunn said All-Star Superman, one of the most beloved supes comics, was a tonal inspiration for this script. it’s an animated movie too (there’s also great JLA cartoon eps that showcase how great supes is that yall could react to!)
I highly recommend the Justice League and the follow-up, Justice League Unlimited, cartoons. They're great introductions into the DC universe.
I've been hoping you guys would watch this!
Guys please react to DCEU movies and start DC UNIVERSE with Creature Commandos 🔥
Fillion is playing Guy Gardner, one of the Green Lanterns. And yes, he looks like that in the comics.
Silver Age of Superman. Old school comics. Loving Mr. Terrific.
Nathan Fillion in Deadpool And Wolverine: “Sweet little puppy!”
Everybody seeing Krypto for the first time: “Sweet, little puppy!“ 💙💙💙
That hug at the end! 😭😭😭
When Snyder/Cavill were making Man of Steel, Superman didn't have the trunks in the comics - so more of reflecting the current time
This comic based movie is comic-ing so hard 🤘🤣 OoOo I spot Hawk Girl 👀 I was a Hawk Girl stan back during the Justice League animated series, so I'm excited to see her brought to life 😱
The guy with the T pattern on his face is Mr. Terrific, not Cyborg. I know very little about Mr. Terrific. I just know he was in the Injustice movie, and I think he's the smartest, or one of the smartest, people in the DC universe
I loved the OG superman music slowed down! It sounds bad a$$
A morning stat is a type of mace lol but that in particular is a morning star, due to having the spikes
💯
One of them really needs to rewatch the scene where Christopher Reeves playing Clark Kent takes of his glasses and physically transforms into Superman on screen. His body language and body posture alters on camera, in shot. That is how you show the difference between Clark Kent and Superman.
The music is the original John Williams theme!
Fillion is playing Guy Gardner, the guy in the forcefield is Mr. Terrific. The music is the original John Williams Superman: the Movie theme song.
I love the fact that a DC trailer has "from the director of Guardians Of The Galaxy" in it.
That jellyfish looking thing was in the first image of David in that room putting on his boots. It's when Lois will find out his dual identity. Apparently his suit will get charred by the Kaiju and it seems to stay that way for most of what we are seeing for now.
As per usual, it feels like Gunn understands the core principles of the comic book source material and is bringing THAT to the screen
You guys need to check out Superman and Lois, so good
with how shocked they are about krypto wait until they find out about Batcow
This whole universe is going to be torn STRAIGHT out of a comic book and I fuckin love it
With the guitar solo gave me Top gun Maverick vibes
Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner!! He is another green lantern.
Clark Kent's hair giving me vibes from the recent animated series: My Adventures with Superman.
I have a feeling this will going to be big,and his life will never be the same..the superman actor
The guy with the shield around him and Lois is Mr. Terrific.
I really enjoyed your unbiased take on this trailer
I do believe that was Otis from the Walking Dead, which I love because he looks like an average guy. Nathan Fillion is playing Guy Gardner, who is a Lantern. And yes, the hair is comic accurate lol. the guy with the barrier around him towards the end of the trailer is Mr. Terrific
