Hi Steve. Please don’t change the way you film, you do an amazing job. I’d love to see the complex of St Luke’s just fixed up but keep to the same facade. It’s such a wonderful huge complex, I hope they use the buildings as a hospital, school for nursing and part of it used as a museum. I hope they bring back the botanical gardens back to life. 🙏🏻 we must keep the history alive. I look forward to watching all your videos. Thanks for sharing. Take care and stay happy. 😊

There was some plans about making it a central government hub ( st lukes ) for all the government departments, not sure what happened...gwardamangia villa is now owned by the government and is having a face lift turning it into a museum of the royal residence and history ofnthat area

Hi Steve 😊 I notice alot of channels are under attack on utube I watch alot and one woman that has a channel was saying she gets all kinds of bad response of hate 😡 people even have found where she lives and show up at her home she gets even death threats she said alot of creative people get so descouraged they give up their channel!! Don't listen to all these horrible trouble makers just jealous of your work really enjoy your videos longer videos help me understand the history of the place your taking us to please don't change a thing just ignore these ignorant trashy people! Your doing a great service for people to understand Maltas history keep on keeping on God Bless you Brenda Peeps
No worries brenda , its true when you make videos its always the fact you attract people like this, just have to be strong and not worry too much, most of my bad comments are blocked so my subscribers do not see, thats why i try to stay as much private as possible, that's why its important to comment and give me a thumbs up ..
I got lost in msida once. But it was worth it. I also have been on the front cover of time out. A really iconic shot of bowie at Milton Keynes, shot from behind him on stage. My friend and I are at the tip of his index finger, right hand. It was the front cover.
My nanna used to tell me about the 2nd world war when Malta got bombed she grew up during it she was born in 1912. My grandpa was born in 1902 . She used to have flashbacks of the bombings and would run outside
I like the bit about the Queens front door😀😀😀 She would have a Royal door opener and a gardener who painted the roses red like in Alice🌷🌷🌷. Don't edit the videos it's like being there exploring.
Good, nice & informative video Steve 👍. Did quite a few shifts @ St Luke's police post whilst stationed @ Msida in early 70s. Can't believe the present state of Villa Frere's garden What a shame 😔. Let's hope its brought back to it's former glory now that the hotel project is cancelled 🤞🎄 🎄 .. (or is it??). The former owners of Queen Elizabeth 's Malta' 'residence' should be ashamed for letting such a beautiful historic place deteriorate to such a state. 🏘. (FYI Steve : Birmingham City Philarmonic Orchestra commemorates 100 yrs this year !!). THANK YOU for sharing Steve 👍 CHEERS 👍 🇲🇹 🇪🇺 ®.
Nothing cancelled in this country ..May be revised or put on the back burner until the right moment , the garden was private for many years , I went to see Philharmonic Orchestra many years ago ,

Hi Steve, that is the hospital where I was born :) my 4 older sisters where all born at home but times had changed by the time I came along :) also did you know in the old days when it rained heavy the streets coming down from Gwardamanga would turn into raging rivers :) if you weren't careful you would end up in Msida :) Cheers your videos are great.

Englishman in Malta 🇲🇹 Oh Gosh Steve a Rain 🌧 Storm I’m sorry 😐
Morning Steve, thank you for another interesting tour of Malta , please don't edit your walks , i really enjoy walking and it's like being there , if you miss parts out it spoils it, enjoy your weekend.
Hey Lyn ..Thank you for confirming what many say ..And i feel myself !!
MALTA i love you very sweet man
Thank you
Hi Steve 😊 I notice alot of channels are under attack on utube I watch alot and one woman that has a channel was saying she gets all kinds of bad response of hate 😡 people even have found where she lives and show up at her home she gets even death threats she said alot of creative people get so descouraged they give up their channel!!
Awesome place!
full of history over there
I got lost in msida once. But it was worth it. I also have been on the front cover of time out. A really iconic shot of bowie at Milton Keynes, shot from behind him on stage. My friend and I are at the tip of his index finger, right hand. It was the front cover.
hope you informed your fan club about such events ??
@@EnglishmaninMalta fan club? At 57 I don't think so.....
@@francisdacey2768 Never too old
good on you mate
It's a nice area ...Lots going on !!
Nice video
Thank you
My nanna used to tell me about the 2nd world war when Malta got bombed she grew up during it she was born in 1912. My grandpa was born in 1902 . She used to have flashbacks of the bombings and would run outside
Scary time, And hope never happen again !!
I like the bit about the Queens front door😀😀😀 She would have a Royal door opener and a gardener who painted the roses red like in Alice🌷🌷🌷.
Don't edit the videos it's like being there exploring.
sounds good to be queen ..!!
Maybe, still being a princess instead of Queen, she did touch the door.
Quality over quantity ? more is better ? that was really interesting either way , keep healthy mate
hello Tim nice to see your comments
The helipad at St Luke's is still used as the one at Mater Dei isn't usable :-(
Oh ok ..But they still have to drive over to Mater Dei
Good, nice & informative video Steve 👍. Did quite a few shifts @ St Luke's police post whilst stationed @ Msida in early 70s. Can't believe the present state of Villa Frere's garden
What a shame 😔.
THANK YOU for sharing Steve 👍
CHEERS 👍 🇲🇹 🇪🇺 ®.
Nothing cancelled in this country ..May be revised or put on the back burner until the right moment , the garden was private for many years , I went to see Philharmonic Orchestra many years ago ,
Must be roasting there at the moment!
Its still very hot ...even though we had a big storm yesterday
so sad it was not maintained
soon starting on work
Helo gaes
hello my friend
👍
Thank you
Brother? Now is everthing There : can i come to survive. And joined with they
If you have a mask ,,,lol🤣
Shame they left the garden like that no one took care of it
I am afraid know one cared in the past !!
@@EnglishmaninMalta True it seems now they are just going to do it so that they can make money
