My doctor told me 18 clicks equals 0.25mg, 36 =0.5mg to get more doses from one pen. After testing first drop, click and count 18 clicks and put a mark for 0.25mg or 36 and mark for 0.5mg. When you go to inject select dose then inject.
I'd love an update called "How to OBTAIN Ozempic"..... There are so many people obtaining it now for weight loss that it's becoming harder to obtain for those using it for diabetes.
@@josephruggiero6561 Lucky you. But, I suppose that it depends upon where you are. And that the costs may vary (considerably) by your health insurance carrier
yes you can. That happened to me and I asked both my diabetes counselor and pharmacist and they said definitely, especially since it cost so dang much.
At the beginning, I took FORxIGA and after almost 2 years I started having leg pains, for which I did not find out the cause. A diabetic doctor told me that FORxIGA is called 'DEATH ON THE LEGS' and that I could die in about 2 more years, and I gave up taking them. He told me that he was attacking the pelvis with his bladder, this as a secondary effect. After, the leg pain left me. When my feet hurt, I ended up taking painkillers because I couldn't do anything because of the pain and sometimes I wanted to scream. I even wanted to call the rescue, at one point, because I couldn't get rid of the pain even with painkillers. I switched to OZEMPIC, from the minimum wave to the wave of 1mg/week. After I switched to the 1mg dose and took 4 doses, i.e. 1 month, the leg pains started again. I took painkillers again, but the pains were not quite as bad as FORXIGA. I took a break for 3 weeks and the pain subsided. I took painkillers. After 3 weeks I started taking ozempic 1mg again. Now I'm waiting to see what happens, if the pain reappears and at what intensity. And all the diabetes doctors and not only asked me if I had lost weight. I DID NOT LOSE 1 KG, with any of the drugs.
your video was very helpful.. i have hypothyroidism and hence i take 175mg and 10mg atorvastatin bcoz of my thyroid so wud ozempic be good or not good to take for me to treat weight loss as my BMI is over 40 and i am obese
Thanks for watching. So on face value, since you have a BMI of greater than 30, you qualify to use Semaglutide for weight loss as it is approved for people with a BMI >30 or BMI >27 if there are other weight related diseases. The only thing is that BMI is not necessarily the only criteria. Your doctor may want to take a complete look at your medical history eg. If you have a history of pancreatitis etc. to make a decision. All the best.
@@HealthRX actually the only condition i have is hypothyroidism and with that cholesterol fluctuates as you know so wud u say i wud be a good candidate to try ozempic..i am also in the pre-diabetic range right now
I thought you only took it one day a week! I just started this and double checked and it is ONCE A WEEK! Please talk to your doctor about how often you take it. I don't know who he got his information from, but I know it's 1 time a week. Sorry for contradicting this man, but this information is very important.
Yes, it is dosed once a week. What I discussed in the video is if you are trying to change the day of the week you take your dose or if you miss a dose. If none of those scenarios apply, then stick to your normal dosing. The source of information is the manufacturer’s website.
Yes you only take it once a week because if you take it more your sugars going to drop way to low because Mine was running four and five hundred and when I started taking it back in October my sugar don't run over 170 now and most the time it stays between 98 and 130 so if you take it more then once a week your sugars going to drop too low I've already lost 35 lbs since October yayyy we're ozampic completely controls my appetite I have to make myself eat cause I'm never hungry when I first started taking I had some pretty bad side effects from it but now my systems gotten immune to it and they have gone away now I just get a little light-headed when I first take the shot.
@@jennifercampbell8075 35 lbs. in less than six months? What's your secret. I've been on Ozempic for Two years and didn't lose any until I switched to the 1 mg. dose; the I lost 14 pounds! Wanted to up to 2 mg. but cardio Dr. told me to remain on 1 mg.
According to what I want to weight I’d like to loose about 15 to 20 pounds I need something like ozempic but I just can’t seem to get it off no matter what I soo would love to get a prescription but don’t know anyone to give me one please can you help me .? I’m so tired of trying and having such a struggle
Some of the mispronunciations, well, I assume you're not in the United States, and I know that medications differ depending on the country in which they are produced. So, I"m on to another UA-cam channel. If it weren't such a serious topic, I wouldn't care at all, but when it comes to a medication that cost $1000 a month and has side effects, I need to make sure the info I'm getting is 100% accurate and appropriate. Have a good day.
This drug is horrible! The side effects are real & the nausea is nothing like I’d ever experienced in my life..I just got out of bed and into the shower after being very sick from Ozempic. I’ve never vomited that much in my life…I got dehydrated but lost zero lbs. every prescription out there for nausea I tried but they all failed! My doctor suggested I go to the ER where they could have stopped the vomiting & nausea but I didn’t have anyone to drive me home…so I laid here in mystery for 6 long days…I ate nothing because Ozempic caused me to feel over full! I was dizzy, nauseated, constipated, had weird smells, my taste was off due to vomiting, overall I felt terrible…this was just 2 weeks after starting Ozempic! The nausea started immediately after I first started Ozempic! I’d suggest you don’t torture yourself and find a safer alternative! 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I must be in the minority. I have had NO side affects with either Ozempic or metformin, yet so many have. I jokingly asked my doctor if I'm getting a placebo. Guess I am just lucky. I've been on both for quite a while now.
I have been taking Ozempic for over 6 months. My blood sugars are normal, my blood pressure is normal, I lost 25 lbs, no discomfort of any kind. One side effect is that from a meat and potato person I'm completely of meat, fish and chicken!!! Can't stand the side of it. Have a difficult time in coming up with inventive dishes with vegetable protein only, but I can overcome that. Different people react to Ozempic differently, so do not get discouraged and at leat try. It can be a real blessing. It is in my life.
Wondering if you are a good candidate for Ozempic? Check this video out - ua-cam.com/video/lJd4nBEumeA/v-deo.html
Damn. Nice camera and lighting setup.
Very helpful. Thank you
Thank you, this was so helpful!
Have been talking Ozempic for about three months with not much effect. Wonder if this has happened with others. Thanks
Great video! Starting tomorrow & appreciate the tips!
All the best.
Great video!! Can you do more medication videos please? Maybe psychiatric medications?
Thanks. Yes, planning on doing more med reviews.

Can you do the keto diet while doing the keto diet?
Great video. 🎉very informative

Glad it was helpful!
I take ozempic and have lost 30 pounds in around 4 months. I have not experienced any side effects
What doses?
I already went and spoken with my Doctor!
Thank you!!
Can one adjust the 1mg pen to deliver 0.5 or 0,25mg dose if bought the wrong pen dose by mistake and already opened it??
Yes. It’s same exact pen
Nope;; it is a different dosage altogether and needs to be approved by your MD,

@@josephruggiero6561actually no they're not and the pharmacies actually have them set. You can't do 0.5 on a 1 mg they're actually set
Can I get the B12 shot while taking that medication?
I need to know too ...
Yes
Yes you can and you also can take tablets of B-Complex instead of nasty shots!
