Took my 4th (.25mg) injection 2 days ago. Symptoms, so far, have been mild GI discomfort in form of feeling over filled. No vomiting.Resorted to eating much smaller meals, which has helped. Appetite is noticeable lower. Waiting to see what next week's first .5mg brings before hard conclusions. This was a very usefull, informative video, BTW. Thanx.

I had my 2nd .5mg dose last week and it was the first time I've had adverse side effects. Of course, everyone is different. I was nauseous for 5 days and had zero appetite (obviously). I took my 3rd dose on Saturday and I've been fine so far. It seems to get better. Try to stick it out. My doc swears by this drug.

My experience with using ozympic have great! I lost in the first week 5 lb and next Tuesday would go into my third week of taking ozympic I have lost 10 pounds! With that being said I have also changed my eating habits which they wasn't bad from the beginning however I don't eat processed foods anymore and I started eating 1200 calories and below a day! I am also working out just a little, however I am seeing the difference in my weight loss! So in my opinion with taking ozympic, plus changing my eating habits and working out like walking and doing light weights I've almost lost 15l lb! I'm eating very small portions and I also do not eat after a certain time and one thing I do notice is the fact that I don't feel hungry! The only thing I take are my probiotics shots every morning in my emergency Vitamin Pack! I do not drink alcohol, I only drink water and a unsweetened tea or I would have zero sugar flavored water that's clear of course! I have not had any of the side effects and I'm still use a .25 of the ozempic! I honestly don't think I would take it up to .5 because in every video people say that they get sick! I feel that I will stay at .25 and get the same effect or maybe I would try it on that fifth week to see how it will make me feel and if I start having pains or feeling nauseous then the following week I would take it back down to.25!

It is now FDA approved in the states for weight loss. So just wanted to know in your opinion is this good to take and is it safe? Is it hard on the kidneys and liver. Does it cause something down the line? Look forward to your answer. Thank you and God bless🙏

I am chronically ill, been on chemo and prednisone nonstop for 17 years. I'm on other meds for side effects of other drugs (take care of your health everyone). So, I'm on many drugs that make it so hard to lose weight. I gained over 150 pounds from being bed ridden, disease and meds. I have tried EVERY DIET, program, medications etc since I can remember...even a surgery, to lose weight. Yes, some worked a bit, but it never lasted. I felt like a loser, quitter and really hated myself. OZEMPIC, so far, has stopped me from feeling hungry, thinking about food, and it makes it that I only eat a real single serving. This is how normally thin people must feel? I never EVER felt like this before. I pray it becomes more affordable for all. I've lost 30lbs since september and I feel high from it all. I feel "normal" and if you have fought weight most of your life you'll understand what I'm feeling. The side effects are real. I get some stomach problems (constipation and diarrhea), and burp all the time LOL, and nausea IS REAL. It's worse than the chemo I take weekly. I asked my doctor for zofran and it really helps. I usually take 1 to 2 zofran a week. I Did have diabetes, but after taking ozempic for the past few months along with metformin now sugars are fine. I also stopped taking metformin since things are ok now, and that was the cause of so many gut problems. I'm SO RELIEVED to be off that. I don't know if ozempic is a miracle, but I can say, that after taking it about 2 months, food never crosses my mind. And even when physically hungry I don't feel the need to curb it. I'm eating, don't get me wrong, but maybe 1 full meal A DAY right now. instead of 3 full meals. A chicken breast, salad, a side dish usually is eaten within the day but as small meals. Does that make sense? It took at least 6 weeks to really kick in, so don't give up. If you make little money you can get it free Just go on the ozempic manufacturer's web page and look up patient assistance. You can also get it for $25 a month if you have private insurance or through an employer. I'm only telling people because I know what it's like to be sick and have so much going against you...this stuff has helped me physically, but mentally, too I don't hate myself as much. Many of you will understand what I mean.

I have been using it for 8months. 45+ down. I'm pleased because getting the weight off has been hard and I need to get the weight off because of high cholesterol. I've been on several statins and it caused stiffness and excruciating pain.Later while taking Ozempic I was nauseous because the dosage has been increased. My doctor prescribed something for the nausea and I eat in intervals and I eat smaller portions and make sure that Im full. I also drink water and ginger flavored Sparkling water and that helps with the nausea.
    Good ol peppermint helps also.

I have diabetes and been on Ozempic for 5 months now, when I can get it. Every time I try to get a refill, it is on backorder. This is being prescribed for weight loss so much that those of us with diabetes can't get it. This is BS.

If you are prescribed this and have diabetes related eye conditions be very careful as it can worsen them.
For Semaglutide now and it's derivatives the licence holders now have to state that the drug is not suitable for peope with retinopathy as the trials proved an elevated risk in that respect despite what other less informed people may state.

I’ve been on Ozempic for almost 2 years and as of March, I’ve been at my lowest weight since I started, which is 135. I maintained a weight of between 140 and 145 for a long time. I thought that’s where I’d stay until I changed what I was eating. I never truly had a bad diet. It was always okay. I’ve lost 60 to 65 lbs total. The constipation I’ve experienced and rare times I’ve had diarrhea were primarily from the metformin I was using. Also, when I first started using Ozempic l used to waste a lot of food. I still do sometimes. I recently stopped using metformin because it has recently started hindering my ability to go to the gym, which exercise is important when on this Ozempic. I have felt a significant fatigue from the metformin. So now I just use Ozempic one. I’m not diabetic and I’m 5’5” if it helps.

Yes. Being on metformin is just annoying because I mean your diet has to have the right amount of nutrients l that come from eating things like prunes, fruits and vegetables. Or else you won’t avoid constipation and other things. I’ve encountered other side effects, too. Nothing too serious most of the time but there was a short time where it was kind of serious and became somewhat of a concern. This is the worst drug I've ever taken! Granted the doctor started me out on a high dosage, either way I took 1 shot and will never take it again. If you Google the symptoms I had every one of the except constipation. I had nonstop vomiting and diarrhea for the first 3 days. Luckily the vomiting stopped but it then turned into bloating and gas (from both ends) and when I burped it was the worst smelling and tasting burp I've ever experienced. It also gave me the worst acid reflux of my life. I take omeprazole regularly and it didn't do anything for it. I even added a second dosage and took tums on top and no relief. It severely dehydrated me to the point my blood pressure sky rocketed for 2 days. I was also very weak and very very tired because of the dehydration and the fact I would be up all night going to the bathroom. The brunt of it lasted 9 days and 12 days later still having mild symptoms. I'll never take it again. I'll lose weight the old fashioned way, diet and exercise. Besides most people's success with this includes a diet change and exercise and in reality most, almost all of that weight loss is due to the diet and exercise and not the shot.

Ok, from the comments I'm reading and what I have learned is this. Ozempic will dehydrate you! I was getting my regular blood tests and my GP saw that my kidney were declining fast. I was feeling sick and weak and though I didn't have most of the symptoms, I felt horrible. My doctor sent me to a nephrologist (kidney, liver doctor) because she said I was in chronic kidney disease with type 3. Boy was I scared when she told me that. When I got to the nephrologist we figured out that I wasn't drinking enough water because of the ozempic. When I started having the issue is when I had gotten my dose upped to the 1mg. I wasn't hungry or thirsty so I just didn't drink. I ate because I knew I had to but everything tasted disgusting, including water. My numbers were low from June to July and when I went back yesterday to go over my blood test, I was back to normal. Water still tastes horrible which it never has to me. But what I have done is every morning I put 2 super cold bottles of 16.9 oz water next to me. I try to chug one completely down before I eat my breakfast. This not only gets a 4th of my water drank but it also will help the digestion of my food so I don't end up with constipation. I usually drink the second one while I'm eating breakfast. An hour or so later I get one so I can take my medicine and I drink the full one then. Depending on how thirsty I am I will slowly drink the 4th one for a few hours. At that point any extra water is a bonus. But I have found that all of this helps with a lot of the side effects. Nausea, feeling tired, constipation, foggy head, headaches, and dizziness. Water will help flush you out and as you lose weight it will help tighten the loose skin(so I was told, idk about that one. Lol!) So if you seem to be having some side effects you don't think you can deal with, try the water method I came up with. I do need to add that I am not a medical expert nor in the field of medicine. This is just from my own personal experience.

Lost 5 or 6 kilos, then 6 months ago it became unavailable any longer downunder basically - extremely limited supplies. I wasn’t able to obtain any for over 6 months, despite having a script for it from my doctor that was lodged at my pharmacy.
I every month I would ask and every month I’d be told there wasn’t any.
Each pharmacy was limited to delivery of just 3 Ozempic pens per day (so 15 per week or 60 / month).
I wasn’t one of the lucky 60 / month that got allocated any by my pharmacy. 🙄 despite being type 2 diabetic & needing it.
You have to taper onto it, then once you go off it, you’d have to taper back onto it.
The 6 kilos of weight came back on during the 6 months off it.
Eventually my doctor gave up prescribing Ozempic, & these days has me on 10mg Forxiga (dapagliflozin) tablets - one per day.
Doesn’t seem to be as effective this far but I guess it’s early days on it.
I wouldn’t go back on Ozempic, I have zero faith left in the company that makes it, to be able to maintain supply of it, which I feel is a betrayal of me as their customer / client.

Can’t get this drug or anything similar in Australia now. Completely sold out. Think they are bringing in a rule for priority to be given to Diabetic 2 sufferers and maybe people who are obese. Hopefully then those that REALLY need it can get it! They are talking supply will be back in April, maybe! Fingers crossed.

If you're taking it for weight loss it's going to drop your glucose to dangerous levels and you should have a CGM cuz it has alarm when your glucose drops too low and it will with this medication that means you got to do the 15-15 rule you must be ready at all times not to mention it cost around $1,000 for a month and the glucose monitor is around $300 a month that's a lot of money for weight loss join the gym

I have been on Olympic for a month. My A1c was 5.7 but my MD put me on it to also help with wt loss. However I cannot tolerate it. It makes me so nauseous, constipated, flatulence & abdominal pain. It's just not for me.

I tend to feel sick to my stomach about 4 - 6 hours after my weekly injection. It only lasts for about 30 minutes and then it's gone. Anyone else experience this?
