It's funny because it sounds like she opens a wooden sock drawer, vomits, and leaves it closed for a long time. In reality, it sounds like she kept an empty plastic drawer on her bed, beside her head. This is uniquely suited to the problem because:
- It's cheap, leak-free, and washable.
- It can't rip, flow off the bed, or suffocate you, like a plastic bag.
- It can't tip over like a bucket or pot.
- It balances how far you need to raise your head, against the need for capacity (vs a frying pan or drip tray).
In any case, it sucks that she was so ill.

As soon as she said it was one of those plastic ones from Walmart, I was like that's actually kind of genius. It's the exact same as a plastic trash can, but it holds itself and you don't have to get all the way out of bed and risk missing. And it's just as easy to clean afterwards.

This is actually quite reasonable. I saw an image referencing this video and expected her to say she vomited into a wooden drawer in a dresser, but instead it’s basically a plastic tub. They mystery of why she’s waking up to vomit regularly still remains though.
Well, she recently got diagnosed with and treated for a severe fungal infection in her lungs, so I think that we can safely assume that the second mystery is solved as well.

It's a plastic drawer that's probably quite easy to clean and water tight. I see no issue with it. If you're sick and puking you obviously want something that you can throw up into at any time and this seems like an acceptable choice.

7 months late to the clip (yt recommended does that to a mf) but I kinda don't understand what's wrong with a dedicated vomit drawer. My bathroom is down a set of stairs, so I keep a bucket and handtowel under my bed just in case I wake up sick and know I won't make that distance. Obviously you clean up properly next morning. Like there's nothing wrong with being prepared and if a plastic drawer does the trick there's nothing wrong with that.
