So many things came to mind while watching that! I haven't had a lesson, or ridden a test, for many years now, but I can still remember how damn hard it is to ride even a small percentage of that!! Absolutely beautiful, absolutely. Poetry in motion.
Completely and utterly speechless...by far the most beautifully paired dressage horse and rider - never again will there be anything like these to again!

Moorlands Totilas is a dressage legend, this dressage test is just astounding, I'd LOVE to have one ride on that horse

Wow! I don't think there will ever be a pair like this ever again. Toto and Edward were in sync to each other. Never seen anything like this.
I would have given an eye to seeing Mestre Nuno Oliveira riding this horse, I can't imagine the perfection that would have came out from that... not this, but lightness in its pure sense...

Thank you!! The perfection of this performance is even more stunning without the commentary to distract from the music! No matter how many times I see this pair perform, it still gives me chills. What a horse! And what a rider to be able to bring out the absolute best in such an amazing horse!

@@nathrose7612 Perfect hands?? Not at all, Edward's hands are crazy hard on his horse's mouth.. they sit completely still and unmoving the entire video. Soft hands follow the movement of the horse, not stay still and pull him. Though I agree his seat is beautiful and I like how quiet most of his aids are. Totilas would have been a much more correct and happy with a classical rider like Nuno Oliveira or Phillipe Karl, or even a modern rider that is Carl Hester, Charlotte Dujardin or Jessica Von-bredow Werndl..

@@nathrose7612it’s never too late I’m 18 now and started a few years ago and I’m on L dressage now (in Germany I know there are different names in other countries) but to be fair I’ve done vaulting since I was 4 years but you can do that too you just need to start😌

ist schon klar dass man auf turnieren mit den pferden etwas strenger ist man erwartet ja was, ich reite selber auch tuniere, aber du reitest bestimmt nicht auf dem abreiteplatz rollkur so wie totilas es ertragen muss
Ich bin 13 und geh auf springtuniere und selbst ich weiss das nur beim tunier das Pferd so stark an die Hand rangenommen wird!!
