Lauda Europe Airbus A320 Flight Manchester Airport - Palma de Mallorca (Trip Report)

On the 17 January 2023 I managed to fly Lauda Air Europe down to Palma de Mallorca, Spain. It was a fun morning as I was around 2 hours early, and then finally the plane appeared out of the fog.
Service was a bit of a shame, as the tray table was not straight and I spilt my drink down into my seat just before descent over the Mediterranean. Crew presentation wasn't the best and the seats (that were leather), were like sitting on tiles! Not the best airline I've flown and if you are going to fly them, watch them tray tables because your drink will slide down if you're not careful!
The reason Lauda Air are operating into MAN is because Ryanair own Lauda as well as Malta Air & Buzz Air. Lauda Europe operates under the Ryanair scheme and you have to book through Ryanair to fly Lauda.
Note: The Aircraft starts at Palma and the return is out of Manchester. Interesting that the aircraft is based at Palma.

My friend flew PMI to LBA yesterday. He said the seats were fake leather on metal and that the carpet was all worn out with the floor exposed. Lovely!

Is the Lauda Europe menús different? Did you manage to get a Lauda model aircraft a320?

Great video. However this is Ryanair being operated by Lauda rather than the other way around :) Not a fan of the crew though!

The service inside was indeed Lauda, but I booked through Ryanair. Thanks Adam for the correction

Always a screaming kid 😡 hate that sound, hope they do child free flights in the future.
Moan over that was very enjoyable Sam. Glad Lauda branded aircraft are still around as it makes a nice change to endless FR, Easyjet, Jet2 and Tui.

Wasn't there any Passport Control/Immigration, before you entered Terminal C - or is it just not depicted!?
For a flight from MAN, I would be stunned, if there wasn't any...!

Yes there was, I remember it was right as we got into the Terminal. At the time PMI were going under re-building bits of the terminal so it was all a bit of a mess. I can encounter a time when I arrived into Lanzarote though and they just didn't bother with passport control and just sent us from jet bridge into the baggage hall!
