Nice report Mr TTE, not to bad if you have a seat with 2, but that 4 in the middle reminds me of the very cramped TUI 767 layout. Painful as once we had a TUI 767 subbed instead of the 787😔
Thanks Dreamweaver787, That happened to me, but the other way around going to Menorca last year, it was meant to be a 767, but a 787 got to do the flight. I agree the 4 in the middle is uncomfortable and claustrophobic

Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this Sam. Stayed in Gran Tinerfe with my parents 30 years ago (both are now dead) so it brought back some sad and happy memories. I used to work writing detailed (90 items) comparative service delivery reports as a spy for an airline for five years 20 years ago. Let me know if you think you could learn from talking about that?

I found the Gran Tinerfe a great hotel, unfortunately I never really used any of the facilities like the pool or restaurant since I was only there for a night and had lots of recording to do. Sounds like an interesting job you had, I don't think I could learn unfortunately, Spying and keeping my mouth closed is something that would never happen! 🤣 Take care.

Last time I flew into Tenerife was in 1993, also 30 years ago. I was 12 and we got a 3 course hot meal with choice of main course. The airline was Caledonian Airways and because of a delay of 3 hours the pilot ordered complimentary drinks for everyone on board. Those were the days!
I'm really not sure, they don't have down stair toilets like the Thomas Cook ones, I think they are the same, but I would ask someone maybe on twitter or Facebook from Airtanker Paul. I wouldn't want to speculate and give you misinformation
Same cargo hold configuration, the fuel is not stored anywhere other than the aircraft’s standard tanks. They use the A330-200 because it has a standard centre wing tank, unlike then-300 version. The newer A330neos both have the central wing tank as standard

Ye I shouldn’t have had my data on, I was only showing the passenger next to me our plane ;)
