The problem with Antony Starr is that his facial acting is so on point that it’s literally impossible to read his expressions in real life. Most actors will use a handful of expressions for their characters as called for it, but he runs the gamut - nothing left for real life. It’s nuts.

His acting level is beyond crazy, The Boys is an amazing show but it wouldn't be half as good without him 👌 I hope to see him in more roles soon so he can get where he deserves

I love how much of his own body language and mannerisms he puts into Homelander. Makes the character feel all the more authentic. They really hit the jackpot with the casting of this show.

@@manufernandez5990 sounds like heresay situation from what I have read. Maybe he assualted the guy, maybe he didn't. Maybe he was drunk and just bumped into them. I've passed through a packed club. People were dancing and there was no other way through so I was just sliding through the crowd just to get by and into an area where there isn't a crowd. So naturally, people bump shoulders, not hard or anything. But it just so happens at some point along the way I passed one guy who just wanted a problem. In passing he tried to grab me, but I kept walking through the crowd because I rather not start a club brawl, or go to jail for whacking a guy who just wanted to get physical over something so small.
Point is, stupid shit happens when people drink and what goes down isn't always on paper and the "victim" could say whatever he wants and people will still take them at their word. It's dumb and the press loves it. Keep an open mind for both sides until solid proof comes in.

The fact that we all thought he was doing method acting but it turned out to be his natural body language all along.
He was so good as the twins in Outrageous Fortune. One of them is a burnt out pothead, the other is an intelligent, sophisticated lawyer and you can immediately tell the difference just from the most subtle difference in behaviour. It's amazing. At one point he even plays one of them pretending to be the other one and it truly feels like that's what's happening.

What I've noticed about Antony is that he almost has no lips, which can make his closed mouth smiles look really weird sometimes, i don't really know how to explain it. Just wanna say, I knew of Anthony due to stuff like Banshee (havent seen it, just knew he was in it from clips of the show) and so forth, but from viewing him in the boys, I gotta say he is on my top 10 list of criminally underrated actors. He is insanely good, insanely good.
He's the main antagonist in the series but he's my favorite character.
He clearly doesn't wanna be there but he's probably under contract to do so.

One of the most gifted expressive actors I've seen on TV. He reminds me of the classics and greats, like Chaplin, Oliver Reed, Ian McKellan, Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson.... His ability to express entire, devastating states of mind without saying a single word is magnificent.
