TO RANGER and any other artists out there that use UTEE FLEX without abandon.
Great video, thank you very much! Funny that you didn't mention one of the most important mediums in the line, UTEE FLEX.
I am very unhappy that Ranger removed FLEX from the UTEE product line right after Suze Weinberg retired. That really showed us crafters out there how much Ranger really cares about the bottom line and how little that Ranger cares about it's customer base.
Ranger needs to bring back FLEX even if it isn't a huge money maker. Without FLEX the usefulness of UTEE has greatly diminished and that's very sad indeed. Ranger needs to realize that not every product is going to be a huge seller, but that every product in the UTEE line is important to the brand.
UTEE WITHOUT THE (DISCONTINUED) UTEE FLEX IS LIKE PAINTING WITHOUT MORE THAN ONE PAINTBRUSH.
Oh and BTW, when you said, "It's very very hot so it's for adult use only" that was one of the best double entendres I've ever heard! :-)
PLEASE BRING BACK UTEE FLEX, I don't want everything that I make with UTEE to crack and when we had FLEX the end result of UTEE was a more flexible end result. Just because it didn't make Ranger millions of dollars doesn't mean that it wasn't important to us UTEE artists out there and perhaps more importantly, the UTEE product line in general. I bet Suze Weinberg is quite disappointed with what Ranger did to her product line right after she retired...

Johnny Appleseed no kidding, it's like they ruined half the product. Before, with FLEX I could make things that had give or that flexed. Now all I can create are stiff as a board creations--half of the usefulness is gone. I'm not even buying anymore UTEE at this point because it's far too limited without FLEX.
To be honest I don't think that the people at Ranger are really very informed. I mean just look at this video with their 'expert' and notice that she keeps on burning the clear UTEE--she really doesn't know what she's doing.
I guess that Suze was the product and you mentioned that she retired. It sounds like she took all of the knowledge and common sense about the product with her.
Darned shame because this was once a very fun and useful product line for the kind of multi-media art that I create. Without FLEX it's a sub-par product that seems like the people at Ranger are killing off, whether they know it or not.

+Johnny Appleseed +ExternallyHard Glue sticks work just as well as the UTEE FLEX ever did. It will help your UTEE not be so brittle. I really don't know what they were thinking when they stopped making FLEX but there are some crafty people out there that discovered that glue sticks work great and besides, they're a whole lot cheaper!

Neat stuff. Haven't purchased this product yet, but it's getting more tempting with the more it keeps offering. I really like the embellishment-making aspect of it, it could save me money.

You should only use the heat it inks . I'm pretty sure the sun catcher wouldn't melt or even warp. The UTEE has a much higher melting temp than the temperature by your window could reach .

Yes, you can re-melt the extra UTEE.

Can you use the UTEE in the clay molds that use the polymer clay? Or do you have to create your own molds?

You can refer to Tip & Techniques for Melt Art Color Mixing on the Ranger website for the type of inks that can be used. The link is above in the video description.
