      I get the impression (rightly or wrongly!) that a bump in practice that would have put the driver into a backup car might not do so with these - looks like you could pull the whole front off a car and bolt a replacement on there and then in the garage. That'll definitely bring costs down... huge benefit if and when this filters to the other NASCAR series with smaller budgets and less manpower.

    Very similar to a sports car and an Australian v8 supercar. Will be miles better than the far outdated car they used last year. These were developed by Lola and alot of IMSA engineers had a hand in it. I think it starting outside of nascar then allowing the teams to tweak it later was a brilliant idea. No way nascar would have gone this direction on there own. They would have modified the old tired cars into extinction.

    it's high time NASCAR racing concentrate on pure longer road races (track) than the customary oval race tracks . . . by that we don't mean Monte Carlo but exactly like Nürburgring type race tracks, infact the long Nürburgring race track is best suited to NASCAR road racing . . . remember Nürburgring race track was designed & built not just for Formula One & WTCC but NASCAR & WRC Rally Cross as well . . . a mix of 80% road course & 20% oval track would be best . . . NASCAR should go worldwide like F1 & future NASCAR should look into supercharged & turbocharged in-line-6/V6/V10 engines not exceeding 5.8 litres in naturally aspirated form prior to turbocharging . . . HYBRId® power packs in NASCAR will be even better where race car OEMs will be judged (points given for the manufacturer's championship title) based on the maximum duration their race cars has operated on HYBRId® power during a race . . .

      NASCAR left the street stock cars since 1970s but they still call the cars stock cars because they almost looks like a stock car even if it was built to race

    Some good (generic) info, but 49 seconds? The Supercar series in Australia has 28 videos covering their next car the Gen3 Supercar. One of them almost an hour in length! Come on NASCAR, you can do way better than this! It's 2022. 4K video, in depth details. Quit treating your longtime fans like they are newbies, give us the deep info!

    Other than the manufacturer specific noses every car looks like a 4 door Dodge Charger. They also have to figure out that putting the numbers forward near the front fenders looks like absolute sh*t and get it back where it was before.

      Side panels and rear panels all look different on these cars as well when you get them in bare without paint. They all 3 have their own unique flares going over the rear wheel.

    • @mindcrime828
      @mindcrime828 2 роки тому

      The only spec part of the body is the greenhouse and rear deck. All of the other body panels are unique to each manufacturer. The reason the numbers are forward is because the rear quarter panel on the NextGen is quite a bit shorter. So there is less room with the number being centered on the door than before. With sponsors being the life-blood, the numbers had to be shifted forward. Better get used to it, as it is very unlikely to change back.
