SRS brakes of all sizes are all I use now! I primarily shoot a 300 RUM with 230's @ 3190 and I can spot my shots 300yds and out. I also have a 338 Edge and the TiPro makes it pleasant as well.
Excellent discussion with interesting data presented by the video maker and another qualified manufacturer, the maker of the breaks. I throughly enjoy your inviting others on your channel. Gives me the opportunity to see other manufacturers and gun makers/master gun makers that I would never know without your channel. Thank you for sharing.
You are a star Ken. Good job. The next video on your brakes will hopefully be on a larger caliber rifle like a 300 something and include the TI Pro 3. Love the TI Pro 3 ST and the Chub.
How do these brakes compare to the EC Tuner Brake in recoil reduction? If recoil reduction is similar would it not be a benefit to use the tuner break for accuracy ???
titanium breaks are sick, i don’t have one of those. but i do have a Coda titanium break on a comp rifle and it works flawlessly. doesn’t dissipate heat well but i personally don’t care. might have to buy one of these as soon as i get into the long range game. excellent video . 😎👌👍
I have the same rifle. Did it make enough of a difference to be worth it? And how much louder did it make the rifle? I’m taking mine elk hunting and I’m not trying to haul ear muffs.
Any plans to do an acoustic comparison? Muzzle brakes have a well-earned reputation for diverting a serious bit of acoustic energy sideways and rearwards..Probably not insurmountable on a range, but stalking hat-racks? I wear active ear protection in the field; a definite step up from squishy ear plugs, especially in hot weather.
I like the videos with the muzzle break sled. The problem is usually that they dont tell you the FPS or the caliber. Data is spread out and inconsistent. Other times those videos are good, but no longer relevant due to newer models coming out. Something from Gavin would be AWESOME
I'd love to see a video on .22LR specific muzzle devices(including suppressors). I'm curious if there even is any recoil reduction on such a diminutive cartridge. Could your recoil rig be adapted for use on .22LR handguns? I imagine there would be a more noticeable effect on those than on rifles.
Just bought a Bergara b14 300 prc with Omni brake what would you recommend for bench rest shooting for ultimate recoil reduction I have not shot the Omni but was told I should look for a better brake
Thank you for this informative video. I am searching the internet for muzzle brakes...looking for the one that has the biggest reduction effect on recoil. So i have to respectfully ask the question here...isnt this a little bit dissapionting?I can easily find brakes that reduce the recoil 60-70%...or even more... Again with all do respect, but i am a little lost here... I am a beggining shooter,so no big words out of my mouth here. Just good intentions and willing to learn. Warm greetings from the Netherlands.
Target bench shooting I’m not sure titanium weight reduction matter’s? But I can see how it would be a factor in other competition where rifle weight or balance might be something to consider
I'm interested in a semi disposable aluminum break for ultimate weight reduction and minimal cost. It would have to be 7k series aluminum though. It would be great for hiking around and taking a couple shots. It would probably last a couple hundred rounds
Do they make brakes for handguns I’ve got a 45 Glock, well that means I mean I got a model 21 block in 45 ACP and I’ve got a couple of 9 mm as well, a dock 17 for one, interested in brakes for both of those, I really don’t have a rifle barrel that’s going to fit those at the moment
Reports I've heard from folks who have have used the Terminators and TiPro's feel that the TiPro's work a little better. Gavin's machine should be able to tell us that, but I doubt he would release that information
How to get to shoot a bucket load of rounds. Be an, Ordnance officer Aviator, in an Attack Helicopter Squadron after Vietnam with our own ordnance department (22 men) and being told if you don't shoot it, it , the ammo will be destroyed! And each of your 10 helicopters has Two, GAU 2 B mini guns with 4'000 rounds load out per helicopter and your CO tells you to exercise the guns for every helicopter, every two weeks. Do the math --over TWO years. Unlimited, barrels.
Which pros might we be referring to? We have a bunch of the top NRL hunter guys using our Ti brakes. Not so many PRS, as weight isn’t as much of a concern.

I just got my 500 Bushwhacker w/10" barrel. Nice job.

Im a HUGE. Fan of Ultradyne. Apollo S, Mercury, Athena etc. great stuff. Also a great iron sight system designed to be attached with the brake.
apollo makes my group worse than other brakes.
It would be interesting to see what the Db differences are too.
And accuracy
I have the lil chub on my savage ultralite 300 wsm. Great little brake!
I have the same rifle. Did it make enough of a difference to be worth it? And how much louder did it make the rifle? I’m taking mine elk hunting and I’m not trying to haul ear muffs.
It would be nice to see all 7 different brake data instead 4....
I've built on just about all of the SRS brakes now. My favorite is the chub lol.
Have you looked at the Beast brakes? Very impressive test videos there.
Thanks Gavin
Another Great video.
Kens a Chatty guy LOL.
You should do this for terminator brakes in 300 win mag and others. I’d be interested in the comparison. May order for testing
I just bought a TI pro4 for my Weatherby Mark V 6.5x300 KCR. Going to be way better than a Radial. 😂

I’d like to see that as well. Especially on a 22lr build for accuracy. Or maybe a compensator/ brake
Can you overlay with suppressor and maverick results?
Nice work. I am interested in brakes right at the moment.
Their all in stock and ready to ship on our website, or our resellers for the Ti Pro brakes. Those are available from Unknown Munitions.
Im shooting a Weatherby vanguard High Country in 6.5 PRC 24 inch and #2 contour barrel. What break would you recommend?
I love all of my SRS muzzle breaks. 5 in total I may have to try a chub next
Gavin, this guy is a scammer that replied to my comment. ..right
Just flagged it, thanks!
If you take those muzzle brakes and put a tube over them, will it be a supporesor?

More like this!!!
I have hypertap muzzle brake from precision armament on all of my 6 rifles.
Target bench shooting I’m not sure titanium weight reduction matter’s? But I can see how it would be a factor in other competition where rifle weight or balance might be something to consider
Muzzle brakes makers are popping out like mushrooms.
We been around for 2 years, but you’re not wrong.
@@salmonriversolutions8058 I'm not targeting anyone, it's just an observation.

Stick with the Ti for weight reduction. Aluminum brakes very quickly erode away.

Not sure what threads those would be, but we have had a few custom run brakes that people put on handguns.
Those look sweet, I might need to upgrade. 😁 Whew, pricey.
Yes, they work REALLY well!
When you be a utube star, price is NO object.
Interesting, A study about rifle breaks concluded, Larger holes work better, these should be fine.
Larger bore sizes? His test just proved what we already know, the larger the hole the less efficient
Muzzle ( automatic spell checker ! Error!)
How is the felt concussion on your face/head? How do they compare to the APA, the 419 and the ACE?
It’s no worse than the APA and 419 brakes. As far as recoil reduction, there was a sled test that the Ti Pro 3 beat the Fat Bastard and the Hellfire.
Ultradyne brakes review please
Where is the number for the Ti Pro 4?
You identified by names the two brakes that did the best, but which ones were they on the table?
Left to right, Ti pro heavy, Ti pro 3, 2, 1, Ti pro tiny
The two port brakes are The Chub
6.5 prc is not sufficient for testing the bigger brakes.
I just installed one on my 22-250,,But the guys at the gun club...Don't like it..I say get better ear protection,
Anyone have a coupon code for SRS brakes?
Look really close to Terminator T3's
Reports I've heard from folks who have have used the Terminators and TiPro's feel that the TiPro's work a little better. Gavin's machine should be able to tell us that, but I doubt he would release that information
Mandame un a argentina para un mossberg 270 no se consige
Those brakes are about worthless if those numbers are accurate. The JE Custom's Assassin radial brakes are almost 3x's as effective.
The best brakes out there are around 50% recoil reduction. Take it for what its worth. See the PRB testing data from 2016.

Anything for the 350 legend by SRS ?
Send us an email, salmonriversolutions@gmail.com we can custom bore brakes.
How do they compare to APA?
I haven't used the APA brakes!
Cool
Do your self a favor, see what the pros use 2015 rifle muzzel breaks, and suppressors. A data driven approach. Precision rifle blog.

💪😀😄
Do they spark when fired? Ti breaks tend to do that.
