I love it man, accurate colours for when I'm designing and its one of the few IPS panels that are fast enough for gaming (measure input was was vertually zero) :D Thinking of getting another one and replacing my middle benq screen with it :)
Another nice video! Please do a comparison video of the three monitors. I am looking forward to buying one of those after two months or so. I am into graphic designing, editing and also play games! Currently I am using Benq E2200HD.
This is a great monitor - colours look good, haven't had any ghosting problems and the ips glow is slight... I only notice it when I'm turning the brightness down and some areas respond slightly slower.

Very cool setup you got. Excellent choice on the gaming monitor, i've owned a XL2420T myself. LOVED it, i will get it again later. Had some money issues and had to sell it. :(

Thats a good thing that you haven't upgraded yet though, cause now you can upgrade straight to a touchscreen monitor for windows 8, many are coming for 2013 :)
The Eizo looks like another class, although they should produce similar data. It might be connected with the LUT differentiating more shades of colour, but I don't really know.
the 12V is for the attachment speakers that dell has for some monitors

The 12v jack is for the built in (crappy) speakers.
Im very elevated when I sit, the Dell screen doesn't move to the same extent as the Eizo I have. The ergometry is different, the pivot of the Dell doesnt allow the screen to be tilted as much when lowered and tipped.

I'm the reviewer in the vid and still have this screen and I can definitely push it down on the stand and tilt the lower end up with the top going slightly backwards, all while the screen is lowered - just tried it and am typing this comment with the screen in this position :)
Just work full time. Here in Holland it's quite easy to get then lol. Especially if you don't have monthly payments.
Apologies for the late reply, but its a Sony a33, with 18-55mm kit and 50mm 1.8 lens
Its been measured by tftcentral (VERY reputable monitor review site) to have basically zero input lag, and really good pixel response, so is one of the best for gaming for 60hz IPS panels :)
Not sure on the exact case, but it is a Bit Fenix

how bad is the ips glow on this because i hear its bad?
Its a great all round monitor,image quality better than TN (very accurate colours, good contrast) and its one of the few IPS panels that are fast enough for gaming. They go on sale at dell every few months for 70-90$ off, get it than if you can wait!

Too bad you cant tilt the Dell in a down/up position like you can with Eizo screens, it is really a good feature for better econometrics that the Dell monitors lack. I also think that both the Eizo Flexscan and the Eizo ColorEdge models exceeds any Dell product for graphic design work and photograph work in general.

Ya these Ikea tables are surprisingly functional :)
The ergometry is not too god cause the flexibility doesn't go all the way, you can't position the screen in the same manner as you can with the referred Eizo models, I like to push it down on the stand AND with a tilt motion simultaneously make the lower end of the screen tilt up and the top end slightly going backwards - while the screen is lowered. This is not possible with the Dell UltraSharp. I've tried.
i like how you have 2 tables and you just pull one out for unboxings.
What do you mean about tilting? You can tilt the screen of u2312hm 21 degrees up and 4 degrees down. imgur. com/Puz40kS

Its DC connector for Dell soundbar not for USB hub.

Maybe I got lucky but mine has no noticeable glow under everyday conditions (maybe if I used the monitor it in a pitch black room 24/7 the glow would bug me ;P) and almost zero back light bleed :)

Hmm... It seems as though you are willing to spend ur money on such high end stuff, why not get an ASUS PB278Q? It is a PLS panel, supports up to 1440P, and definitely has even higher color res and contrast ratio of 8mil to 1!! C:
Around 300 dollars? I paid 180€ (=230$) for mine a year ago, and it's the basic price here. I am amazed that for once electronics actually cost LESS here in Finland.
