QuickTools for Blender - Introduction

- Hey guys, I wanted to create a really basic tutorial for QuickTools, so you can get up and running making concept art right after watching this short video. QuickTools are a set of addons for Blender designed specifically for concept artists.
Check out the other videos on my channel for more detailed tutorials for the tools, Here I'm only covering about 10% of what we have created just so you can get started and find out if you are ready to dive in deeper. I have videos where I go over every single feature as well as general workflows

Im a concept artist with a 3D background and these addons are a godsent, to be able to loosely design in 3D (without getting caught up in topo) is a gamechanger for me. Please keep up the good work!

Quick Question. Is there a way to get all of these Quicktools together as a bundle or are some of these tools included with A specific product? Either way, this is a great looking tool for conceptual designs. I'm looking forward to seeing this add-on continually grow and develop. Thanks for creating this product.

it was cool when there was the metaballs i know it's been replaced by the voxels or something ,it's not the same thing ..but for some type of shape , metaballs were usefull .i wish they were back
Hey, I have a question for you about grease pencil. Do you think you would make possible to convert grease pencil filled areas to meshes? You can convert it to curve and then add geometry, but just to the lines, you lose the filled areas. Regards.

because alt + lmb is rotating viewport camera in industry standard keymap.
What's the difference bw the quickshape tool and the lasso trim tool that blender offers? I'm interested in most of these tools, the quick shape is the one I'm unsure about.

i updated my quick textures and also upgraded to blender 3.4 from 3.1. When i use ctrl+T i can still use the addon but the hotkeys don't show up i only see white dots where they should be.
@@ALKSNDR you're absolutely correct, soon as i turned my UI back up to 0.97 it shows everything again. Hope it gets fixed in the next release. Thanks again for these amazing addons!
Quick texture doesn’t work with Blender 3.4. When you render you get a ballooning texture effect. The model ends up looking like an inflated blob. I had to revert back to an older version of blender. Has anyone else had this issue?
Any plans on releasing a new 4.0+ version? I'd like to purchase these but the fact that the 2023 version is compatible only up to 3.4 is kinda holding me back. These don't come cheap but seem really useful for working in a more freestyle, traditional way.
Hey we do support blender 4.0 in the 2024 version, its been uploaded on gumroad for a while. It works but there are some bugs unfortunately but hoping to get a perfect version out this week

You just go to the preferences addon section and click install. Search for blender addon installation tutorial on youtube if you need more details!

@@ALKSNDR Thank you for your reply. I found that when I used the Chinese version of blender, there would be problems，but when I switch to English, it works normally
I LOVE THE VIDEO AND ALL PERFECT ..but pleasee pleaseee...the keyboard sound all video, the next time use a microphone far from the keyboard...its auwfull ear all time the clic CLAC clac clac.... the dont make the video more interesting or more tecnical( we not are in 2000 or 2005 XD )...please dont make a 21 minutes of video with that sound xd....only that
My 2 videos after have better sound and you can't hear the keyboard :)
I will make more videos starting in October when I release the new major updates for Blender 4.0 with the new sound setup
