Great video and great idea! The only choice I disagree with is Komputer Overload. The episode focuses on Karen, a computer. So it makes since for it to be Komputer (Karen + Computer).

Well, the title itself is a joke! It want to make you believe it will actually be about the Shuffleboarding contest but plot-twist us by making the episode about what happens after it! Personally, I found that clever and funny and since it's a memorable joke, I think it also helps to identify the episode.
What about Gary Takes A Bath
Nickelodeon advertised The Great Patty Caper as Mystery with a Twistery. They could have used that title.
Maybe they didn’t use that as the title because they didn’t want to get it confused with the Fairly OddParents episode “Twistory”? I don’t know which came first, and I know they’re puns on different words(history/mystery), but maybe. I agree, though.
I'm pretty sure the 'K' in "Komputer Overload" was supposed to be in reference to Karen.

This is why shows like Gumball and Seinfeld go with "The _______" for their titles. Simple, easy to remember, and easy to think of. Creative titles are great, until you spend so much time thinking of a good one that the episode is neglected. With these examples the opposite is likely true; They didn't have time to think of a better title because the deadline was coming and it's not that big a priority (in Goodbye, Krabby Patty?'s case, that was totally executive meddling, tho I would argue that it's easier to remember than Factory Fresh)

Scrubs has a format for their episodes where it's usually "My ______" unless J.D. isn't the main character of the episode. In that case, the episode is "His Story #___" "Her Story #___" or "Their Story". If they made a season after J.D. left the hospital, they might change the theme of the episode names, but they stopped after season 8.
CaptainJZH What about every Ed Edd n Eddy episode having Ed in the title or every iCarly episode containing the prefix “i-“ and then the name of the episode (which may stand for Internet or interim, the latter because Steve Jobs was Interim CEO of Apple during the time of the Internet’s advent)?

He considers it the prime example of a 30-minute Spongebob special done right, with multiple subplots and conflicts that connect together thanks to the tundra motif, and just contains everything he feels a Spongebob episode should have.
It's his opinion. I like Frozen Face-Off myself, actually.

10: WhoBob WhatPants (It's what everyone calls it now and it's what it should've been called originally)
9: Son of Bubble Buddy or Bubble Boy (the first one for reasons stated in video, and the second because it still works to describe the fact it's a bubble who's a kid)
8: Robot Receivers (Plankton is sending robots to steal or receive the formula for him)
7: Shellfish Sellout (Mr. Krabs decides to ruin his product just for money and it ends up backfiring I also think he gets called a sellout in the episode)
6: Krusty Krash (the Krusty Krab fails aka crashes due to Krabs firing SpongeBob)
5: Invasion of the Jellyfish (it just took changing one word to both get the reference right and make more sense)
4: Krusty Kontest (reference to main plot of episode, establish it's at or has to do with the Krusty Krab, and alteration to make it a bit more fun to say)
3: SpongeBob RoundPants (it just makes more sense and gets to the point and it still works as "SpongeBob is a different character now that his pants are a different shape")
2: Great Patty Heist, Train Trouble, Railroad Rascals, Cart Catastrophe (all of these work 3 of these have alliteration which is great for a memorable title and if you wanted since it's technically related to the formula you could replace the "C"s with "K"s in my last idea)
1: No Gifts for Jerks (it says the reason Plankton makes his plan and makes a reference to the Jerktonium)

The commercials advertised "The Great Patty Caper" as "Mystery with a Twistery".
Even though it doesn't have to do with trains, I still would've liked that title more because of memorable wordplay.
And it's a hint that they'll do a twist ending which they do.
(Seriously the ads come up with better titles than the actual cards 90+% of the time.)
even thouh technicly Mystery With A Twistery was technichly only part of the story, and not the central conflict of the episode, it would have still been a beter title.
They should have gone with "Fancy Pants" instead of "To Squarepants or not to Squarepants". It was the golden book title for the adaptation.

Four words. The Clash of Triton. Nickelodeon built up for a supposedly epic "SpongeBob vs Triton" deal in its trailer, only for nothing interesting to happen, a boring plot, a lame ending, and...well...no actual clash.

I alway thought “The Curse of Bikini Bottom” was a weird title for the episode as it is Spongebob and Patrick being cursed, not the town.

I think "Komputer" is a reference to how Karen's name starts with a K and how she is a computer. I still agree that it's not really a fitting name, though.
At the end of "The Great Patty Caper," it turns out that an elderly SpongeBob was telling the story to his descendants, and he ends by calling it "The Great Train Caper." I don't know if there was a mix-up or an oversight, but that decent title was serving itself to the creators on a silver platter.

#2 On Netflix, you can only watch season 7 of spongebob, but they mixed up "The Great Patty caper" with "Patty caper/Plankton's regular" from season 6!
My least favorite SpongeBob episode title ever is "Super Evil Aquatic Villain Team Up is Go!" from Season 8. What kind of title is that??? I've heard rumors that it could possibly be a reference to the old Jetix show, "Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!", but if it were, it makes no sense to why they'd reference that show and it doesn't fit well either.
Krabs vs. Plankton. Sure, it's an accurate title and fits the theme of a court case, but conflict between Plankton and Mr. Krabs is one of the main recurring plot points of the series. Hearing that title on its own could refer to one of several dozen different episodes.

Also another title I think should be tweaked is “Chum Bucket Supreme” because the episode isn’t really about a chum bucket Supreme, yes it’s one of the food items. But the episode is MOSTLY focused on “Fun is Chum” or “Chum is fum”

I knew The Great Patty Caper would show up. Fun fact: When Seasons 7 and 8 were put on Netflix, when it came time to watch TGPC it actually played Patty Caper from Season 6 instead. The similar titles tricked Netflix

AlexIsHere13 The reason I think that I Was a Teenage Gary has a bad title because SpongeBob turned into a snail at the last quarter of the episode, the reason why The Other Patty is also bad because it's a lazy title and why I think that Atlantis SquarePantis is bad too because Patrick thinks that SpongeBob has an ancestor when they found a missing piece of the amulet which has nothing to do with the special's plot.

I would've put "Fiasco!" somewhere on the list for the same reason you had a lot of yours on there. It describes something going horribly wrong... which is what happens in about 90% of all the episodes.
The title card for Bubble Buddy Returns is even worse. It’s just the title card for the original episode except they slapped the word “returns” at the bottom. They didn’t even bother to make returns in bubble text

My least favorite Spongebob title is easily "Nice Try". Don't get me wrong, the episode is great, but I already felt like the phrase was overused in the episode, so a name like "The Diffrent Schemes of Plankton" would have fit better in my opinion. But hey, I guess its better than the episode having a name like "Plankton, finally gets the Formula?"

My least favorite might be "Truth or Square", as it basically lies about the episode's contents and is super unfitting as a title for a Spongebob anniversary. However, I'm unsure if I'm feeling this way because of how bad that episode is; if it had been good, maybe I'd feel differently.

In England (and maybe the US) Netflix only has Spongebob season 7 (unfortunately). Today, I wanted to watch the season 7 episode "The Great Patty Caper" which is the one that takes place on a train. When I selected the episode however, it started showing the season 6 episode, entitled "Patty Caper", as well as it's sister episode "Plankton's regular"

My least favorite SpongeBob title is "The Card", whenever I hear "The Card", my mind jumps straight towards "The Paper".
The Clash of Triton and SpongeBob SquarePants vs. The Big One are both misleading titles.
Personally, I don’t like ‘The Lost Mattress’ (the title, I love the episode itself). It just seems too simple and they could have come up with a better name (maybe a pun involving mattress instead of matters or something) and it kind of spoils the episodes plot (they need to find the lost mattress). However, even though I dislike this title, I do not mind episodes like ‘Sandy’s Rocket’ and ‘Rock Bottom’ as they only make sense in context. If you had never heard of spongebob and heard episode titles like those, you wouldn’t really know what to expect, but with ‘The Lost Mattress’ you know they’re gonna loose a mattress.
For other Top 10’s (or 20’s or whatever) I would like to see a Top 10 most forgettable Spongebob episodes. A few I would include are Wigstruck, Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost, Scardey Pants, Chimps Ahoy, Blackened Sponge (i believe that’s its name) and a lot of episodes from season four.

For me, the worst episode titles are the ones with some form of "stupid" in them. Greasy Bufoons, Penny Foolish, Demolition Doofus, and so on. The exception is "Idiot Box" because that one is clever on several levels instead of just referencing that the characters are morons.
I thought it was going to be That Sinking Feeling as it's a cliche name for an episode or any title of any kind that has been used many times.

I feel like in "Goodbye, Krabby Patty?", the "Goodbye" part is referencing how SpongeBob can no longer be with Patrick while the "Krabby Patty?" part is referencing "these are Krabby Patties?" or something about the episode, but hey, that's just a theory.

i remember in the marketing for the great patty caper, they HAD an alternate title for it (kinda like whobob whatpants). it was "mystery with a twistery". not that great a title either because the twist to the mystery was kind of predictable, but at least it's less confusing.
I remember when I saw planet of the jellyfish for the first time I got really excited because I'm a big fan of the Planet of the Apes series but no it's a parody of a movie that I'm not the biggest fan of.
Maybe "It's a Spongebob Christmas!" is a reference to "A Charlie Brown Christmas" or various other Peanuts movies that are titled similarly?

In my opinion, The Camping Episode has the worst title in SpongeBob history. It's a good episode, but the title is extremely lazy.

#10, whenever I hear that, I think of "whatever happened to robot jones."
It's as if that part of Squidward's Suicide about "animators would put in joke place holder title cards" and they just forgot to fix them.

To be honest, I never really think about the titles too hard. Since they only lasts a few seconds, they just slip from my mind by the time the actual episode starts.
Crow Rider me neither... But then again a lot of people like to complain about the actual episodes themselves. It is kinda fresh to hear AJ talk about bad titles of Spongebob episodes for a change. An episode title can really say a lot about your episode and you gotta be clever about it.

Ricardo Mendoza because not every single video he has is a top ten, his channel is 70% Spongebob so it makes since that he would talk about this, and he actually puts effort into his videos.
It strangely took me half the video to realize he was talking about the episode titles and not the episodes themselves.

I kinda feel that title sorta misleading, because it's just a generic episode with "Imitation Krabs" plot. Not about Spongebob's grandma cooking or some sort.
Surprised no mention of Frozen Face-Off. It has the same problem as 1 and 2, except even worse because it was in the same season as Face Freeze.
