Is it possible for me to give this video six stars? A word of warning to people doing this for the first time. This is ALOT!!!!!!! harder without the right tools. They also made the sanding look REALLY easy. if you don't have a good sander that will wear your arm out.
Probably the most comprehensive video for fiberglassing. Thanks and I appreciate the craftsmanship as opposed to some fools how are all about showmanship. Nice job.
Great tutorial, fast and to the point. I have seen many videos that say half as much in twice the time. This cleared up a lot of gray areas in making these types of enclosures.
Thanks. I like straight-to-the-point tutorials so I figured I'd do the same for everyone. I'm glad this video cleared things for you. I hope to post some more real soon. Anything to help the DIY community.
Your video makes me want to fiberglass my entire system, subs, door pannels, amp rack......thats how good it is! Post more videos of your future projects!
EXCELLENT TUTORIAL VIDEO!!!! HANDS DOWN, THIS IS UA-cam'S BEST VIDEO TO DATE!!! YOUR EXPLANATIONS WERE DETAILED BUT CONCISE AND YOU MOVED FLUIDLY THROUGH THE STEPS WITHOUT BEING REDUNDANT. I TAKE MY HAT OFF TO YOU!!! YOU MIGHT HAVE A FUTURE AS AN INSTRUCTOR!!!
EXCELLENT! much more detailed descriptions than other videos with no wasted BLAH BLAH BLAH. agreed too, it's better to take your time & saturate the fabric than hurry like several other videos recommend with their uneven coated fleece full of air. the fleece is an extension of the glass & resin is more solid than air.
Thank you for such a methodical, properly thought out video. I appreciated the lack of background music, the excellent camera angles, and the step-by-step approach with good tips throughout the process.
You did a great job with the enclosure and with the tutorial! Didn't waste time explaining things that didn't need it, and didn't skip anything important. Lots of good information and tips here. Keep it up, man! You've inspired me.
Great video. I've gotten out of building boxes for about 15 years. A lot has changed, a lot of new tricks have been thought up....many of which you have posted...thanks!
So helpful, thank you so much. Im redoing my door panels on my truck, and I didn't know hownto get the speakers to loft off the panel. The blue vinyl really helped me. Once again, thank you!
This is a great, great instructional video. Great commentary, helpful hints, easy step-by-step process. Very nice to see! I might actually give this a shot now, instead of letting a shot do it, and cost me an arm or a leg. Thanks again!
You described every step perfectly and succinctly. Great tutorial! I would definitely recommend making more of these because you make great tutorials and if you provide useful information on the web it will attract a lot of attention for your company. I hope you have a blog that this feeds into as well as some more branding in any subsequent videos. Very impressed!
Very simple, very straight forward, clear and concise! I wish all tutorials were this well done! Awesome stuff, man; thanks a bunch and keep it up! :-D
This is the best vid I've come across so far. Really professional, I like the voice over as opposed to in vid audio. Makes it easier to understand and more to the point. Thanks for the upload
Hey this is a very good and well detailed instructional video. I'm sure everyone here is very grateful for what you have done. It's people like you, who share their knowledge and wisdom, that make this world a better place. Keep it up, thanks for your contribution!
Nice tut man personally i put a layer of fiberglass mats on the out side also for density and strength but this vid really can (and will ) help out people
Just found this and it is very good. I have been rebuilding my boat and working with a lot of fiberglass. I would make one suggestion, before you apply fiberglass on the inside I would saturate the bottom of the fleece then lay down the fiberglass to ensure the bottom layers soak up the resin also then soak the top of the fiberglass
I'm going to make a little custom tweeter enclosure using a similar method, thank you for posting this really great narrative to go along with your video!
Thanks dude you just helped me solve a problem of making a copy of one of my dash inserts to do a custom deck install without destroying my stock one........Props to ya.
Been looking for something like this to give me the basics...... never did anything like this before but figured itd be something fun worth knowing. Gonna try it out this summer for a new box. Thanks for the great video man.
Respect for getting it so smooth. Im doing this with an 18" sub and a 50x80 centimeter box. But it is hard as hell to get it smooth. 2 layers of bodyfiller and im still sanding.
That is a dammed good work! I still don't know why don your use a vacuum forming machine! but still great work! now that I come to think about it you'll never be making this as a massive production! Thanks any way! I honestly never thought about using fabric for fiberglass before!
great tutorial brotha... it really is an easy project, but also really easy to screw up... you have a great setup for this, but, like you said, it can also be done with more basic tools...
Wow, I have no interest in making a subwoofer box but this is absolutely the best instructional video I've ever seen.
Thanks 🌹

One of the best fiberglass videos i have watched you actually tell how to do it not just show pics of the product.
This is one of the best tutorial videos I've seen, not only for fiberglass work but also for tutorials in general.
