Parker is legit. Dude could make a shopping cart go fast.
possibly in real life ... in iracing not so much
@@janzons8352 umm, yes. Real life. Who cares about getting a participation ribbon for being fast at iracing? I say that as an active user of the service.
@@Tanteemtetaisnt everything just competition and we do it for the fun of it?! you could just as well say who cares about rl imsa?! and the "pro" drivers get fans and views (maybe not as many as RL but compared to say F1 its still peanuts)
@@janzons8352 I’m a huge sim fan, but there is no real danger, which suits me perfectly. For IRL drivers the stakes are so much higher and the danger is real. To face that and still drive on the limit is what makes them elite.
@@Tanteemtetayea probably true for most people... but you discard online as "who cares"?! and i dont want to take away from him... he is really fast IRL. just not very fast in the sim ...
Hugo, excellent content. This will help as I build out my ASR 6. In particular, the layout of the wires and placement of the USB hub. Thanks!
Thanks!!
What a service!!
Just built my ASR6 a day ago, it's awesome! (If only my passive throttle didn't require a warranty repair, I'd be able to use my new rig!😭)
ASR support was very fast and helpful! And their UA-cam instructional videos were very straightforward.
I got the standard pedal plate because my ActivePedal is so long it would be hanging off the aluminum profile deck.😖 My only wish would be if the aluminum profile deck was longer to accomodate 3 profiles instead of only 2 ...
Shar-LOT 😂
Can’t help the french accent ahah!
you guys should post the hardware list on this rig.. link to your site or something ;)
Good idea!
Good idea. Will get it posted in the description tomorrow!
Char..lot..srry had to say something lol
Can’t help the french accent!
Dude needs active pedals so he can make the brake travel further like his race car.
Good shout. Already on the list of upgrades to come!
Best sim channel
uh the cable management is so good. 😍 I'm sitting here looking at my rig and thinking shit. I need to clean up my cables
Thanks ahah! One of the most overlooked things, but such an important part.
@@advancedsimracing can you all do a video specifically showing how you do your cable management as you are building rigs like these? I think it would be well received because there are probably a lot of us that have nice rigs but the cleanliness of the install really does set it apart and make it look "professional"
what angle did you guys mount the monitors at?
Do you remember what combination of elastomers was used for Parker's brake pedal?
So cool to see the process! Will he be streaming 🤓
That is so awesome.
relatively what would a sim like this cost exactly? I wanted to invest into one yet have no clue where to start
@ZERO2P1 Around 10.000 Euros for a complete simrig without motion, depends also what you buy, low-mid-high end stuff. For 10.000 Euros you get the high end one.
Mine is around 10.000 Euros but not in once, step by step build through some time, I’m even shocked myself that I have spent soo much money. It goes up really quick.
It can be also 100.000 Euros. The sky is the limit…..
Could you guys do a tutorial on your cable management please? Would like to copy what you did here. Thanks!
We’ll keep it in mind for a future video!
Those Samsung G5 are 27'' or 32'' ?
These videos are dope!
someone give me money so I can get a sim rig, I'm $2000 in and all I have is wheel and pedals 🤣
Where can you buy the black things that are around the cables to be able to tug them away?
Amazon has them. They are velcro cable ties.
is there a usb hub attached next to the wheel base in which the wired will is attached to ? If so , does a usb hub have a latency compared to pluging the wheel directly to the base ?
Any particular reasons you don't install bezel free kits to your 3 screen setups?
Adds complexity without a huge gain. You don’t really notice the bezels, especially on the G5’s.
Does anyone happen to know which USB hub it is that they're using? It's visible off the pedal end of the rig starting at 4:41 in the video. I've been keeping an eye out for a decent hub and if this one is good enough for ASR's builds then it's good enough for me.
I checked ASR's web site, but I didn't notice anything in this particular product category.
It is the Atolla usb hub
It is the Atolla powered hub indeed!
So you guys run all your peripherals off that one hub and have no issues? Sounds to good to be true 🤔
Yup we do!
No issues with latency?
Hey asr i wanted to purchase your asr4 or asr pro cockpit but u don't ship to Fiji, I asked nlr they didn't rely same as 6sigma and simlab hoping to get a reply from u
Just send an email to info@advancedsimracing.com with your shopping cart and shipping address / phone number. We'll give you a quotation for shipping to Fiji (even if we'd like to hand deliver) 🫠
It says u only Ship to Canada and USA 🥺
How is it the real thing when there isnt a lexus in iracing 🤣🤣
pro is not how much u spend or what u have, know a few pros on laptops and wheel mounted on a deck using a chair
Why is he not playing acc?😂😂…real men run iracing!!
AC is top dog 🏁🏁
@@mercenarysawoh yeah, I was racing in a life size trex dinosaur walking car the other day it was sweet.
All drivers in real life use iracing as tool and bases like Leo bodnar And simcube…
@@emmanuelmoraless not "All" Iracing needs and better tire model. Just saying...
All tire models are flawed in many different ways.@@mercenarysaw
Maple Syrup Gang! Lets Gooooooo!
I have my own rig, for a month now built myself and I was watching this like I never experienced it. I love when I buy something and everyday it feels like I just got it. Not even my SRT made me feel this way. I think because it’s a community and it’s at my house. And it’s difficult as anything I ever tried
I’ll be following your season Parker Thompson!
Those cable holders sure look nice. I ordered two 10 packs, but never received them in my order.
They are nice indeed. Please reach out via the contact form on the website and we’ll make sure to send out replacements.
did he test different pedals, seats, servo bases or you guys got this based on his needs?
In Parker’s case, we knew what he needed with the purpose of the simulator, so chose products we knew would meet his requirements.
Such a fun watch. Love it.
Awesome setup, love your products. FYI, Charlotte is pronounced SHAHR-luht.
Good Stuff! I should check out the Montreal shop.. I’m just over the Vermont border. Aside from that… will likely see Parker in Sonoma. ;)
Which simulator, iRacing?
Yep!
Hey there, thanks for this video! Very good and cool components, agree with this so far. I would change the triples to VR and add motion, for example SR2-motion...🤘
Parker should get his team owner to let iracing scan the Lexus.
Is that the soft elastomer installed?
Where are you flying to?
Is the centre monitor flat and side were curved? Monitor model number pls.
All curved! These are the Samsung G5’s 32" (165hz version)
@@advancedsimracing thanks for prompt response
what a bunch of posh bullshit for yuppie consumers
Bro you sound a tad bit jealous 👌
Say what now? 😂
