All those soft touch surfaces like on the knobs and on the Pitch and Mod wheel got sticky and oily over time on mine and the keys yellowed. The plastic was very low quality for some reason. I had one of the first ones ever made though, maybe they are not like that today.
I own one too, about year so far, keys are white, and wheels seems fine, maybe because I don't use them much, I don't have any other analog synths for low end, this one is enough, at first glance, it seems it lacks of controls, but with 2 oscs, you can make a crazy amount of presets with this synth, and not just a bass
True, and also it acts as a 3 oscillator with the tunable sub which is a great feature ! Also, I consider 'noise' another oscillator and I use the external in a lot, so it ends up 4 oscillators plus noise ! luv this powerful little analog synth !@@Integraudio17:21

I started using mine after not touching it for years and now all the rubber is sticky and breaks to pieces as well as the plastic underneath which just crumbles between your fingers if you use the neccessary force to turn the switch knobs in the arp/seq section. I have lost 5 knobs by now and it keeps getting worse.
My only thing about novation is knobs and encoders malfunction. Already had 2 ovation synths with this problem, they are not cheap to replace. Did you had any issues through the years? Thx for the video!
You can hold the function button to tune the sub independently of osc 1 giving you a 3 note chord when detuning osc 2. 👍

@@scyhte82Contact Novation. They'll send you replacement knobs. I don't know if they'll replace the keybed though.
