The diesel sound is better if you put downpipe with this catback exhaust
Brooo honestly yeah you don’t need paste because their make the original and aftermarket pipe size diameters, so the fit as a glove fit over the other like sleeve
Tbh the sound was not bad....but am pretty sure u can get a better result

Artur I’d go for it mate! The power with this car is mad but with a re map it will be much better. Nice one :)
318d best engine to go for especially in 122bhp guise
I got m47d20 163HP-340Nm stock pumped to 214 HP-469NM with popcorn limiter at 289.XXX KM ALL 👌
Wanted to do it to my 318 but it’s not a big difference imo. My friends muffler fell off his saab and it sounded like a m2

I done a backbox delete on my 1.7 cdti Astra, it didn't make that much of a difference so i took off the main cat and straight piped it. Still go the pre cat so its not a full straight pipe but it sounds mint. Got a video on my channel of it if you were interested. Think your beamer would sound smart with the cat off

@@BIGHUS That's alright bro, keep it up. I'm up Aberdeen way and down in Glasgow now and again, obviously when we're not in lockdown haha. Would love to do a colab video if you get the chance. I'm gonna try start uploading on yt more and trying to grow my channel. My plan is to keep the Astra and strip it out and use it as a track car. And buy a 2005 WRX STI to run as a daily, so would be interesting to have a video log of the progress

How long did it take to cut the original pipe off with the machine ? Quick few seconds or a longer than a few minutes
About 10 minutes but its not difficult just requires patience and concentration. Don't be scared to do yourself buddy its worth it
Hi, I have a 320d e90 and I was thinking about doing the same. My idea is that it gives a touch of sound to the car. What have you noticed in the sound?
I thought I heard a metallic sound in the video, is it normal?
Have you noticed a difference in the turbo sound?
you wont get too much of an audible difference, maybe a tiny bit. the DPF or cat and resonator would still be fitted so its muffling the sound. i decat and resonator deleted mine and kept the OEM back box on before i got a remap so it looked standard (for the boys in blue)
Is it meant to sound the same?
The backbox deleted alone, in my opinion, does not really make a difference for diesel cars.

I have a black 318D ES 2006 plate. I was thinking of getting It remapped? Any opinions on that guys? Would I need to change any parts to the 320D parts?
Hassan Hayat I don’t think any parts will need changing. I think you should go with that and find out. I plan on doing the same.
@@BIGHUS I have a bmw 318d and done stage 1 on it to 185hp and 430 nm.
What does the exhaust paste do? Do you really need it or can you do this without?
I would always recommend using the paste. It seals the joints and prevents any leaks from occuring. :)

Илко Георгиев Hey, in my opinion. Vision wise it looks amazing, looks really nice with the car. In regards to the sound, as it is a diesel, there isn’t a significant change however you can notice the sound difference slightly when driving. Overall, I am still happy with this as it looks so much better with the car and has slightly improved the sound of the car. Hope this helps :)

Andy X Nope, as long as emissions are environmental friendly should be all good.
Does this increase the price of your insurance ?
Yes slightly unfortunately as this is seen as engine related modification at risk due to performance & power increase however better off having this declared to be on the safe side.
lol no difference as DPF/cat are the main reasons why this car is quite plus its a diesel, youd need all the way from turbo free flow exhaust o make it sound good

This is a muffler delete. I also done the resonator delete which can be found on my channel if that’s what you meant.
