      Frozen black is more matte and hyperdip has a sheen, both are smooth depending on how its sprayed really

    Hey I've read that 2k high gloss is extremely dangerous to use. do you recommend a chemical suit and respirator? Also, instead of 2k high gloss can i use plasti dip glossifier instead or it won't come out as shiny?

    • @EhabHalat
      @EhabHalat  Рік тому +1

      You definitely need respirator and a body suit will help but i use my work clothes to cover my skin and gloves for my hands now. 2k gloss will give u the glossiest finish, way better than glossifer

    Would you recommend applying clear coat on trims/emblems/moldings/grill that were plastidipped too to get a glossy finish? if not, what would you recommend?

    • @EhabHalat
      @EhabHalat  Рік тому

      For emblems use hyperdip piano black by dipyourcar. If you are spraying grill or any other chrome on the vehicle or wheels use black plasti dip and 2k clear coat by spraymax ontop.

    I got the same grainy effect you had on the Shadow Black with 2K+PlastiDip. So it might not have to do with the Shadow Black per se.
    I didn't heat up my 2K before application and also did it in the open air, not sure if those were contributing factors to the overall grainy look close-up.

    • @EhabHalat
      @EhabHalat  Рік тому +1

      Oh weird! I have never got a grainy look or any issue with 2K+Plasti Dip… i have always heated my 2k can though and you do need to spray in an enclosed, ventilated area, also humidity can cause that to happen too!

    Love your channel. I have a question that you probably don’t know the answer but I thought I’d ask. I did about 7 coats of the black plasti dip and 2 coats of the plasti dip gold metalizer. Then I used the 2k clear over it and it looks amazing. However, if I wanted to add another coat of the Gold metalizer would it lay down on top of the 2k clear. I’m assuming no but I just have a couple spots I’d love to touch up. Thank you for your great work👊🏻

    Finally tried plasti-dip with 2k high gloss. I ran into an issue after i tried to use a toothpick to remove the plastidip around the little BMW "M" logo on the wheel. 3 wheels cut clean but on one the plastidip ripped a tiny a bit around the logo. I just put the 2k high gloss over it. I'm hoping it seals in the little tear or do you think i will run into problems later? 2k gloss looks amazing! thanks for the tutorial.

      @EhabHalat  Рік тому

      Hey there, next time use a lighter to heat the tip of a knife to cut around that logo lightly. If its a minor tear it might be fine but it could possibly have issues in the future, hard to tell without seeing it
