It came back once on the correct treatment, not as thick as it was, but I wash my hair in water, stopped dying it and use a few drops of argon oil massaged through it to keep it hydrated. There are new straightening products out there. The one I know about is the QIQI treatment. There are no toxins in it. It is expensive, but it is a great product. I have been coloring my hair since I was a teen and did not start having any hair loss until I reached menopause. That started the thinning on the top. I started taking vitamins and using minoxidil. The hair came back and none of the loss had to do with the chemicals that were placed on my hair. I will say that she is correct that pulling on the hair with hair bands , ponytails and braids will cause bald spots. I see that all the time.

Yes there is, it's called soap nuts powder(Reeta powder). A bit more effort than shampoo, however it's awesome and natural. Read about it. "Just make sure you don't get it into the eyes at any cost". You will cry a river and it stings. You can get soap nuts and grind them into a powder.

I'm so sorry to hear about your husband's hair loss. It can be a distressing experience.
While Fit-FactsWithYou does not provide medical advice, this is for informative purposes only. Here are some potential causes for hair loss that might be related to his condition:
Stress: As you mentioned, stress can significantly impact hair health.
Hormonal changes: Hormonal imbalances can sometimes lead to hair loss.
Nutritional deficiencies: Certain vitamins and minerals are essential for hair growth.
Underlying medical conditions: In some cases, hair loss can be a symptom of an underlying health issue.
I strongly recommend that your husband consult with a dermatologist. They can provide a proper diagnosis and recommend appropriate treatments.

I clearly have complex loss; so hair-today-gone-tomorrow, cycle. Overall it's now overcoming😊. (Sugar, wheat, bicarb cause me some issues), increased exercise helps I'm 67 and in my case most shampoo, or soap is out! Why I don't know but I am unable to use caster oil on my scalp, I will literally drop regrowth and be sparse in one swoop, so for me, that's out!

I use castor oil on my daughters natural alot and her uair has become so thick and she has more baby hair. Ive stuck to castor oil for 5 years and never used harsh products on my daughters hair because its natural and natural hair is very soft so i make sure i read the conditioner before I buy. Pantene works for my daughters hair and ive used it for 5 years. Every year new hair oils come out claiming it grows your hair especially black African hair is tough so alot of Africans will jump on anything that says " growth" and they also braid their hair really tight. Ive never taken my daughter to salon and I braided her hair twice and noticed how it kept breaking her hair I stopped and continued braiding her natural hair instead without using extentions and I noticed how long and thick her hair grew without extentions or harsh products and I dont use shea butter on her hair either as I also noticed how fake some of the shea butter was mixed with palm oil and other harsh oils and instead for this oils to help grow your hair, it instead breaks your hair and made your hair sensitive.
