I didn't want to make a longer video of the whole thing. I just made the video to help out some mechanically inclined people by showing them what needed to be pulled off to get at the sensor easier than other videos I had found at the time.
I didn't need to take anything off. Use a 19 mill ratchet and go from behind the engine u dyer the throttle body....took me 5 minutes to do this....and that with replacing the wire harness....taking all that stuff off is just a waste of time
@@andrewilliams4373 I changed mine just cuz I bought it thinking it would be bad but it wasnt. Sometimes you dont neex to change the wires. Whole job took 20 min
I have a question maybe you can help me with. I change the coolant sensor and the temperature gauge inside is working now but now my cooling fans are working real slow why would that be. I put new cooling fans as well. Hopefully you can help me with this problem.
I've never had that problem. Possibly a bad ground somewhere or the power feed has a possible short. I would make sure your fans have a good ground and full voltage at the connections.
OntarioRedneXXX don’t waste your time!!! Very unlikely sensor goes out!!! Check fluid level, then check for any fraying on temp sensor pig tail wires if everything ok change thermostat!! Fix!!!
lucashernandez8 yep! Where were you a month ago! The sensor had my light back on a day later, changed the thermostat which was very bad and haven’t had an issue since
Sorry for the delayed response. My comments were going to my spam and I don't really look back at my old videos. I saw some of the other comments and for my situation it was the sensor. I knew my thermostat was good because I had good circulation and I put a thermometer in the radiator while it was running, so I knew I wasn't overheating.
you get str8 to the point! 👏🏻
Quick and to the point. My guy
pro trick: watch movies on Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Angel Jax definitely, been watching on flixzone} for since december myself =)
Great video and thanks
can you show me where the manifold O2 sensors are located. 2 of them i guess. do you get them from the top or under the car?
If it was so easy you’d think you’d actually show you doing this stuff...

@@6774Bambam it was as easy as you said in your video took me 20 minutes to change it. Thank you for the video

I'm having this problem now, so I should change the wire harness also.

Sorry for the delay. All I changed was the sensor and it's never acted up again.
How did you get the bottom bolt of the motor mount off? Did you use a crows foot? Thanks Chet
Sorry @Chet Spencer I know it's way overdue, my comments were going to spam and I never really look back at my videos.

Sad that this is so far beyond most people’s ability.. did this solution work long term? I’m messing with the same thing on my 2010 3.9
