There's no reason to apologize! You've made how many tutorials, and as far as I know this is the first time I've seen you make a correction to any of them. I can't wait to start mine. I have some gorgeous bamboo yarn I'm using to make it! Thank you, Crystal!

Crystal thank you so much for this pattern. I wanted a shawl for a friend that had texture and looked elegant with being too difficult. This is perfect! I absolutely love it. Simple stitches that make a beautiful finished shawl. Thank you for your designs. You are my go to designer and you have never disappointed. ❤

When we err (not if, but when), it's most effective to recognize it (✔), admit it (✔), correct it(✔), and learn from it (✔). Crystal, you've got that covered.😀. Always teaching by example. Thanks!

You're a very talented lady and try very hard to teach us many patterns, techniques and stitching. For those who have issues because of a mistake, I give you advise from a friend of mine. "It's not your first mistake, and darn sure it won't be your last", then laugh. 😀

I found your UA-cam channel a few months ago and you are the best crochet teacher ever !!!! Thank you for all that you do. I am going back through your hundreds of videos to find shawl and poncho patterns (my two most favorite things to crochet) and my... oh my... oh my...... there are so many beautiful shawls and ponchos. You are soooooooo talented. I am bookmarking every one of them. They will keep me busy for a very long time ..... LOL. Thank you !!! You are the best !!!

Before I saw your videos I never even wanted to make anything that wasn't a simple single double or triple stitch 1 row repeat scarf or small blanket. I found 1 of your other shawl pattern videos A few months ago and had to make it right away. I liked it so much I made a second one and turned them into a poncho for my niece. Now I'm browsing your other patterns for a shawl for my mom. You're an excellent teacher And I thank you very much For making me want to learn more!

Yay! This is the first shawl that ever made me want to make a shawl. I don't wear them but I wanted to make one for a family member and it had to be THE perfect one. THIS IS IT! It looks fancy, like hard to do so the person will think I worked realllly hard on it when actually it's super easy and quick even for me with less than 1yr crochet experience. Thank you Crystal! You're amazing and so is this pattern!

Crystal that is such a beautiful shawl and will be the first one that i make myself. And as far as the mistake. Your only human and you caught it addressed it. Alot of people dont admit when they made a mistake . so kudos to you. Now with that being said, I would like to do my shawl in a shade of white, BUT..... I dont do well with whites as far as wearing them. I always manage to get something on a white garment that I wear ( red sauce, brown sauces you get it) so I was thinking of a very light purple ( maybe lilac) I dont know yet . But when I do figure it out and finish my first shawl I will share it with you and your fans. I am a very new crocheting person and have a long way to go to get to the level you and the rest of your fans are at. But there is no doubt in my mind that I can and will be doing this one. Thank you again for being such a great teacher and a wonder and nice person. I will be making alot of nice things for Christmas presents. I live in florida ( hopefully this will be the last year for that) and the rest of my family are up North in Ohio ( where I'm originally from). Again, thank you for your teachings. And thank you for being you. Happy Easter to you and your family.

I have a suggestion! For projects like this there a repeat is necessary but only shown once, you should really add time stamps in the description for when you start each row. I am ready to go back and start round 3 again but now I have to scroll through the video to find it, would be easier with time marks in the description :)

I liked this pattern so much that I ended up making 3 of these shawls in about 2 1/2 weeks. One I made with Lion Brand Shawl in a Ball yarn. The other 2 I made using Bernat Pop! yarn. The last one I made really large. I wanted one to throw over my shoulders as I crocheted, knitted or watched TV. I finished it last night and tried it out. Loved all 3. The Bernat Pop! showed more of the stitch definition. I am very picky about tutorials that I follow. I really love yours. I wanted a pattern that I could memorize the repeats so I didn't have to keep looking at the pattern. This was ideal. Thanks for another great pattern.

Thank you Crystal for your pattern...its lovely with the variations. One thing in your first set on the 5th row, the first time I did it with 3dcs in 3ch space but found the edge a crescent shape, so redid it with 2dcs in the 3 ch space in the 5th row throughout and the shawl has a straight edge. I'm half way through and enjoying crocheting. Thank you very much for your amazing pattern❤

Your video is very simple, THANK YOU! Repetition is SO much appreciated, now I think I can start learning to read patterns.

Crystal, we all make mistakes..we are human...and you caught it..anyone that may be mad due to this..I'm sure with a reminder of mistakes they've made...a new will be she'd... Thank you for all of your tutorials.. you're a joy to watch.. don't let this hang over you..it's all good and the shawl is absolutely beautiful!! I'm going to make one for my mom, her best friend and my sister for those chilly end of summer nights up north..

Thank you so much for the times stamps. I'm terrible at remembering repeats of more than 2 or 3 rows.

Just ran across this shawl July 2020. My husband loves the varied pattern. He isn't big on crocheted clothes-type projects, so that's saying a lot! Thank you for this pattern!!!

This will be my first bodalong project and I’ve started it already. It’s just a classy beautiful piece. Can’t wait to submit my final project and I’ll tag you with the picture too when I’m finished. Thank you 🙏 Crystal for everything you do, you truly astound me with your kindness and joy.

Yippy skippy Crystal. I started working on this shawl today using Red Heart Soft in grape raisin color with a 6.5 hook. Since I've only been crocheting the past 3 yrs & only by tutorials either this video is easy or I'm just getting better. LOL. You are AWESOME to follow & explain everything so well & so clear. I've made a few of your items from various tutorials. We all like to think we are perfect but we are not as we are only humans that tend to make errors but we learn from our mistakes. I can definitely see me making many more of these shawls in the near future. I'd like to try using Mandala yarn for this shawl as it would be amazing. Thanks so much darlin & HAPPY HOOKING...…………. xoxoxoxo
