Ok, I just gotta say that this pattern makes me look a freakin pro! Lol. It’s intricate looking, but relatively easy to follow. Thank you very much for making such a clear and easy video to follow. Much appreciated!
Hi robin my anxiety. And mental health been getting worse i started to make this to keep my mind occupied thank you so much i crochet the watermelons, star, and many others thank you xx
I made this shawl for a Christmas gift for my son's girlfriend's mother. It turned out beautifully. So beautiful that I decided to make one for myself. Thanks for sharing this pattern.
Robin, have been searching for a simple Spring Shawl. Temperatures in a typical Texas Spring can be rather mercurical. Already have completed a warmer pattern in a pastel variegated. This is absolutely perfect! Love the yarn you used! As always, Thank You🩷!!!
Absolutely love this pattern. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this tutorial. I cannot read a pattern but have been crocheting for the past 6 years. It's people like you that make it possible for me to crochet.
Hey Robin, a very pretty, light n airy shawl… I plan on making shawls this year (part of my getting ready early for Christmas this yr!) Shawls, scarves n a blanket or 2 or 3!!! I’ll definitely make this shawl. Thanks!! 🌺
This is the second time today I've heard someone say they were playing yarn chicken, LOL!!! This is a gorgeous shawl. I think I will make this one next. Right now I am working on the lightweight summer shawl that you did a tutorial on about eight months ago and loving it!!! I'm addicted to your channel. I even play it when I am doing other things because your voice is soothing and you speak crochet. LOL! I also appreciate the fact that you use American terms.
I LOVE that shawl it is BEAUTIFUL Robin!!!!!! Thank you so much for this tutorial, definitely will be making it! Btw I really appreciate the time stamps and all the nice info you include.
I am SO GRATEFUL for this tutorial!!! I have been looking for an easy but lacy triangle shawl for at least two years, usually on crochet blogs or sites like Ravelry, but this is the first one that checks all the boxes! It had to be easy and lacy and lightweight and triangular, so I could adapt it to a head covering for religious purposes. The picot edging is such a nice touch. I made the first one in under two days and am already working on my second. Your video is extremely well done and your instructions (written and spoken) are SPOT ON. Well, well done! I can't wait to scour through the rest of your patterns! I decided to add some variation in my second shawl by adding an extra repeat of row 4 every other pattern repeat, if that makes sense. It switches between 2 and 3 rows of the ch5, sc part. I used Lion Brand TruBoo bamboo yarn; it’s a little splitty but lusciously soft and light. Bless you!
I can’t emphasize enough how gorgeous this is! It is definitely my new go-to shawl pattern - so easy, yet so very elegant, I look forward to starting a new one soon!
Thank you so much for the pattern. Just finished mine which i made for my aunt. I enjoyed crocheting it. Looking forward to more new patterns from you. God bless you.
I just finished making this. I really love how it turned out. I used shawl in a cake. I kept going through the first and second cakes, and then a little more than half of the third. I wanted a nice, big shawl to wrap up in. This was just what I wad looking for. Thank you for the tutorial. It was fun and easy to follow!
Made this but with a few different yarns instead of one. It turned out incredible. Thanks to you I've learned a lot and as always amazingly clear instructions (for someone who struggles to read written crochet instructions). Can't wait to make another shawl sometime.
I’m making my way up the crocheting ladder n shawls is next. Saw this and was hooked. Lol. I’m alittle intimidated, but I think I can do it. Your Allen the Snowman was a huge hit n came out perfect. I hope I can conquer this shawl. Your videos are just perfect. ❤❤❤ wish me luck.
@@HookedbyRobin I did it!!! It came out beautiful. I took it to my crochet club n the ladies went wild over how pretty it was. So thank you. I amazed myself also. Didn’t think I could, but I DID IT!!!!
Noraida can you please tell me how much Mandala Yarn was needed for this shawl? Wondering if it was a full cake & what size hook works well. Thank you 😊
Such a pretty pretty pattern. Love this design, perfect for red heart unforgettable yarn in Stained glass. As soon as I finish my other one of your patterns. Gorgeous! Thank you💖🇨🇦
Just finished making this shawl yesterday for my mother-in-law as a Mother’s Day gift! I loved the pattern and the tutorial was very helpful and easy to follow!
I just wanted to THANK YOU! You have taught me to crochet -I give you FULL credit! I tried to learn initially using books but they just did not work. YOUR teaching is what worked with me - and now, thanks to you, I can even use those old books if I want to! Thanks again - you have changed my life! Brittany
Thank you so much for those very much needed time stamps when rewinding the video when needed... which in my case is often. I have a very bad memory. Love 💕 you for this extra help. Your designs are marvelous 💗
A lovely lacy shawl, just right for spring/summer. The colours are gorgeous, especially as the weather has been so grey lately. Another great tutorial, Thank you. 👍💜💐😊
Thank you for this video and pattern. I did this shawl using Shawl in a Ball, it is beautiful. I was able to finish it in a week, just in time for my mother’s 91st birthday! I especially love that you have a written pattern to go along with this video. I’m new at crocheting and want to lean to read a pattern, the best way has been to read the pattern and watch the video too. Your instructions and videotaping is terrific, I’ve subscribed and have my next project picked out. Next is your Fantail Shell Stitch Fingerless Gloves, for my daughter ❤️
Thank you for your lovely pattern , I did amend it slightly to get a 'right/wrong side' by doing 3 chain rows then the blocks of 3 ,obviously turning it into a 4 row repeat ,I think it shows the openwork of the chain stitches better and overall I'm very pleased with it , thank you for all your ,clear and easy to follow tutorials , keep up the good work , Diane .
I love everything, the pattern, the beautiful yarn and as always your very clear tutorial. I have been thinking of making a couple of spring/summer shawls to gift to friends even though i have never made a shawl before. This is perfect timing. 😁
This is such a beautiful shawl! I bet it would also be beautiful in a rectangular shape! The drape would be so beautiful. Now I gotta figure out how to make it rectangular ❤️😊
I'm relearning this pattern. I haven't worked it in quite a while or made a shawl in a long time. I had some lovely yarn with some interesting color changes, and I wanted the yarn to shine. It's working perfectly with the particular yarn I'm using. Thank you for a no fuss Shawl tutorial. I tend to make more scarves and infinity scarves, but the colors and print on the yarn just said it needed to be a shawl.
Robin, I am loving this shawl tutorial. It is so amazing. It works up so fast. Faster than I thought it would. I am on row 9 right now, and it's already at; 10" long by 16" wide. Beautiful stitches that work so well together. Simple and quick. I can't wait to get to the boarder. I'm so excited. Lol, lol...
My shawl turned out perfectly! I have since looked at other patterns and Robin is by far the easiest to follow and ends up with the most beautiful shawl that I have ever made. I am so excited to further patterns! Thank you, Robin!!
Loved it! You are absolutely great explaining so very clear! It’s fall in my end of the world (Chilean Patagonia) so I used a gorgeous turquoise blend with beautiful grays… great easy lovely project for rainy cold days! Thank you! ❤
I just finished my shawl. I used the Lion Brand Ombre, color wave Tranquil. It is absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much! I've started another of your shawls, but ran out of yarn. I hope for it to arrive this week. It too is turning out quite beautiful. Thank you for sharing these wonderful tutorials.
Just finished this shawl using a Sirdar Batik Swirl yarn cake. This is the second spring shawl of yours completed and I love your clear instructions ❤️
