  • Over the past 6 years, I've come a long way in my jumping... now it's time to put it all to the test on the most famous jump trail in the world: Whistler's A-Line!
🙌MASSIVE thanks to MY PATRONS that make this all possible 🙌 bit.ly/2wQnsUL
    And to my channel Partners:
MAXXIS TIRES - for keeping me confident in my traction with the best tires in the game

I’ve been watching videos and photos of the A-Line trail for my entire mountain biking life as long as I can remember. While watching, I’ve also been progressing my mountain biking skills, and thus have progressed from thinking “I’ll never be able to hit those” to “I wonder if I can hit those” and now all the way to “I want to clear those.” Now that I’m in Whistler, I get to fully realize my goal of clearing A-Line and thus unlocking one of the most famous and fun jump trails in the world.
    LFRHGS!

This is such a great video. Instead of just showing the footage of himself on a bike, this dude creates a gripping narrative out of his experiences in mountain biking, and how they have lead up to him sending this legendary trail. He turns himself and his friend into heroes with helmets, the protagonists of the epic saga wherein they must fight against giants, in the form of mounds of dirt. Watching them ride their trusty transporting companions is almost the same as watching a knight riding his beloved horse into battle. This is pretty much a modern day fairy tale. Incredible work.

Man both you and Seth has inspired me. When I was a kid I really wanted to getting into mountain biking but didn’t have enough money growing up. It kinda was forgotten about. Ever since I’ve seen one of your videos I starting looking for a bike to be ready for spring!!! And I start watching Seth channel. I can’t wait!!!! Thank you guys so much. I’m 27 and didn’t think there was something that would make feel like a kid again. Much love ❤️

  • @MyToasterIsBroken

This is going to sound bizarre Alex, but this video actually made me cry when you cleared that last jump! I'm a 31 year old woman in NZ who has started her mountain biking journey last year in September (I have stuck to the bike touring/bikepacking world), and although you surely have at least 10 years plus on me with experience, it's videos like this that really inspire me to keep going and baby steps to get to where you are now. I mostly feel it when I'm out with other riders who have oodles of years of experience on me, but they are so positive and can't believe my gusto. My flatmates stuck me on a grade 3 flowy/tech trail for my first ride, which gave me my first confidence boost when I started to mtb. Thank you for sharing your world with us and if you ever make it to Wellington, NZ I would love to show you some of our local trails!
Ringa tōhau nui, E hoa, ngā mihi. Emma :)
