Great Update! Having Grandkids do make a HUGE new perspective in one's life. 32" waist, and now totally avoid "fast foods." My mother always told us at an early age, "You are what you eat." That has stuck in my mind from that the first time I heard it. Walking is critical & MOVE those arms while you walk. Walking always gives your brain exercise too. Oh, yes i have a few different balance exercises too. Make sure you have a good pair of waking shoes. It really makes a big difference. I have met a couple good friends who like to walk together which makes it even more enjoyable. Believe me as much of my day is spent "moving" I really have no problem falling asleep. Yes, purpose is so important. Once you have that it takes on a whole need meaning!
I am 70!😂🎉 l have been doing all of these things my entire life! Lol l am still my high school weight and size! Amazing! I think! I had 2 major cancer surgeries 2 yrs ago in my abdomen for colon cancer! Surgery can save your life and ruin your figure! I got back to the gym as soon as l could! It took too years of sweat but l lost 5 inches from my waist! And 4 pounds! I wasn't ever overweight cuz l watched my weight my whole life! I was just flabby around the middle! Now l can wear all my pants and skirts once again! So happy! I have even gone back to my old job! I have been there 1 yr and a half now! Don't give up! I know it is hard and everthing hurts! Do it anyway! It works!😊
I use to wear size 36 pants back in United state now I wear size 32 I walk and ride my bike every day. I live in mexico in the boonies there are no Americans around only Mexicans,the men are very jealous and extremely un trust worthy when they find out you are American the $ sign shines in their eyes,the women are all conservative,no matter how old they are they all act like a 12 years old vigin girl,there is a park that I go to walk every day so do many others when I want to talk to women first of all they look scared and next day they come with a man,young girls walk hand in hand with their parents,I can't believe mexico is next door to united state if I didn't know any better I would say they are Muslim!
Life sounds very different for you now, but it’s inspiring that you stay active and embrace the local culture. Keep walking and riding-you’re doing great! 🚴♂️🌄
