@@miguelungson9230 when you get the ball inside the 10 yard line, it is “and goal.” However, you can still go backwards off penalties sacks etc (like Alabama did)

@@miguelungson9230 You only get four downs. And because it’s 4th and goal you have to get a touchdown. If Bama doesn’t score on this play auburn gets the ball and runs out the clock and wins. Before this play ESPN had a probability of auburn winning the game at 99.9%. That’s why it’s being called “The Milroe Miracle.” Milroe being the guy throwing the pass

Also, the two rushers and a spy is bad, but what's worse is that they were playing man coverage. Just tell your 8 players to make a picket fence in the endzone and watch the quarterback; converge on wherever he throws it and bat it down.
& he should've been the one who applied pressure to the QB! He could've easily made an attempt to make things a lil harder. Whoever was running the defensive side of things really messed up with that call. All they had to do was make the QB get the ball out fast, a 4 man rush would've at least made the pocket collapse & that's all they really needed to happen

Against that 2 man Auburn pressure, Milroe could still be standing out there looking for an open receiver. James was shadowing Bond the entire play and never lost sight of him, except for the 2 fatal steps forward he took while the ball was in the air. Milroe threw a great ball when it counted, but this was an epic collapse by the Tiger defense.
James actually held Bond in the end zone but Bond got away.
He was right on him. It was a prrfect throw. 4th and 31 but how far back was he when launched that rocket right over the Dbs head. Its not like the DB can just jump on the WR before the ball gets there. With all that time to throw they were able to run around and create space in the endzone.
What was Auburn DC thinking! 6-6 team with nothing to lose, go ahead and pressure him! They never would have made it

The only reason Bama was in such a ridiculous position was because of the refs. Two snaps before this one of the Auburn defenders clapped which caused Seth to snap the ball before Jalen was ready. Should've been a penalty on Auburn but it wasn't called.
Imagine not having at least 7 players in the end zone before the ball is snapped on 4th and goal from the 30 😂😂
