You Only Live Once! I'm glad I'm living in the time of the Maid's! One of my favorite Misa bass lines! Awesome song, often overlooked! Kanami, lead guitar, writes the main song, then gets input from Akane and Misa for their parts, Miku writes the lyrics, and Saiki has the final QC say! A collaborative effort from Band Maid, no egos involved! Alone was the first song their label allowed onto a album and is the last song on the Brand New Maid album and the next album, Just Bring It, was where they really took off with their own! You really hear the many layers and masterful mixing with the headphones! Kanamincho, or just Mincho, is celebrating her 30th Birthday on the 28th, btw!
The song is often overlooked because of the title, but was a further development from their experience from "Alone", which was their second most important song after "Thrill", which was their breakthrough. "Alone" let them get the clearsign from the record company. This song is from "just bring it" where most of the material is either written or co-written by them. Headphones gives usually much more sound for the money. Small drivers which needs little power to be driven. This makes the sound as detailed as you must go at least 10 times the price on a regular stereo system.

Lead singer Saiki does not write. She will suggest a change sometimes, if she thinks it's not cool enough. Rhythm Guitarist, Miku, writes all the lyrics. Lead Guitarist, Kanami, writes all the music and backing tracks. Rhythm Section, Akane & MISA contribute their own parts. Sometimes Akane will complain to Kanami about the suggested drums, "This part cannot be played by a human.", she will say. But somehow she always finds a way to make it work. And MISA is MISA. She always makes it her own. But if you're going to go back and do the old stuff you have to do the BAND-MAIKO songs. That's their April Fool's Day persona. Do yourselves a favor. Do it! Don't wait. Do it now . . .
