I love Ferndale! Ed sold my Ferndale home and helped me buy a home in Pleasant Ridge -- just across Woodward. Ed is THE best realtor as you can tell from this video. If you are looking to move, get in touch with him.
Aww Thanks Jenn! Also thanks again for the help making this video! And the weekly motivation on social! ☺️
Love these videos just to learn more about different areas and their pros/cons. Keep up the great content!!
Really appreciate that! Think I’m going to make it a series 💪🏾
I am moving to Ferndale because it reminds me of my life in San Franciso... before the tech companies took it over.
I can believe it! You will love it
Your slogan should be..."the Butler did it" 😀
Haha that’s a good one too, my website is “Sold By The Butler” 👍🏾
I was raised in Ferndale on Westview by the school.
In the early 60s
Nice! Place has changed a ton huh.
@@EdButlerDetroit ,.. yes ,my grandparents home on Westview burned down and they moved to Highland Park.
We lived on Reimanville right by the park .. 2 buildings have been built on either side of the two family flat where we stayed.
It hasn't changed much accept for on 8 mile rd.
I now live in Detroit, Michigan.. the Cultural center across from I 75 on the east, the hospital district on the south, Wayne State campus on the west across Woodward, and I 94 on the north.
It's a very nice area .
Amazing videos bro! Very cool ❄️❄️❄️
Appreciate that brother!
I thought this was Ferndale RCT in Wales UK lol
Haha there a little distance between the two ☺️
I applied to WSU and your videos have been so helpful!! If I get in I'm turning to you to help me get a home :)
Great to hear! Thanks for watching. WSU is a great school.
Nice video what kind of dog is that?
Most likely my Black German Shepherd roaming around lol
What is a couple of your favorite Downriver Suburbs? Just relocated back and looking to move either Downriver all the way down to Westland. Or. Into the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area. I call it the triangle. AnnArbor/Detroit/Toledo. Family is in Toledo area so I am close drive away.
Hi Ed, I'm a single straight man looking to move where there's a large ratio of single women to single men and am trying to decide on Ferndale or Royal Oak. Is Ferndale a good place for a straight man to live or should I look into Royal Oak?
Grew up in Berkeley Ferndale opened a new parking garage it has made parking a lot less of hassle
Yea it’s not ridiculous anymore but still a hassle on a Saturday for sure.
Go Bears!
Hey Ed, do you know if Ferndale would be a nice livable place for single people (without families)? How is public transportation over there? Is getting around town gonna be OK even like for people who don't own a car? I am on a fixed income, and do not plan on commuting to Detroit much. I just wanna live in a nice safe quiet neighborhood, that is within close proximity to all basic amenities like grocery shopping, general stores, and public transportation. Looking to rent or possibly buy a small home. What is your advice or opinion on this? 🤔
Yea, Ferndale is a great area for all backgrounds honestly, and if you want walkability the closer to 9 mile and Woodward the better.
@@EdButlerDetroit Thanks, Ed... Do you also recommend that small town kinda close by called Hazel Park?
@@OtomoTenzi Hazel park is fine for singles, but much less walkability so you may need a car living there
Hey man would u say it has diversity ? Like in the main city (detroit) and how many mins to get to Detroit ?
It wouldn’t be as diverse from a race standpoint, but definitely not lacking in diversity. 15-20 min from Downtown
