You mention that AL180 was made in all metal case. I can t fin anything specific online about an AL180 case made of steel. Do you bave a specific answer about the version made of steel case?
I've said this on a few videos they always reissue in shitty sprayed plastic if they ever do bring back the digital marlin it's got to be stainless steel because it just won't last and I would rather pay that bit extra for a proper stainless steel case
I was hunting for them for almost a year and finally scored a Cosmo fro 350 bucks and lucked out on the moon graph for just 130 bucks. I wish wearing two watches at the same time wasn't as frown upon as I would do that all the time haha.
I wish they would reissue the original Casio databanks. Don’t be fooled by the ones you can get now. These things were absolutely incredible! World time and a schedule that would scroll a message at the alarm time plus a phone book! Just amazing!
I had the Blue Thunder watch back in the day, and I loved it. It disappeared from my wrist during a motorcycle accident, I'd buy a reissue in a heartbeat!
I totally agree on the game watch, I'd wish a few could come back as a nostalgias piece. I remember having the Nelsonic Space attacker in the early eighties, I'd totally would grab a reissue of that one if a manufacture would produce one.
So many cool watches 😮😮😮 I want them all, just looking at old catalogs is mind blowing, other brands make digital watches but casio has so many flavors omg❤ great content again sir, much love from Colombia
Would like to see the 1970s F-200 reissued (the one w/ the 2 buttons on the front) and have it do Illuminator to light up the whole face. Good memories of that old watch!
The Al-180 was a hand down from my brother and it was my first casio. A "friend" borrowed it once and deliberately destroyed it, never talked to him again. This is the watch tha made me get a ga-b2100. I just love solar.
I'd love to see the Casio Game GM-40 and their series reissued, used to have one in the early 90s but it was stolen, they sell for over £2000 these days.
Great video on a keen interest of mine. With there being so many Casio watch models out there, it's a joy to find new classics I have never heard of! Top trumps my friend
I had the AL180....but it was har to charge it in Sweden, with 6 months of darkness, lol. The Marlin Casio was on display in a store, in water, we admired it a lot. :-)
I had a Marlin on a rubber strap when I was a kid I actually found it in a kids amusement ride at the shops, loved that thing I would buy 1 in a heartbeat.
Some years ago, I saw a AL-180 on the shelf at Walmart and immediately wanted it--but I had no money at the time. Unfortunately, by the time I did gather the money, it was no longer being sold there. So I settled for a Royale instead. But to this day I have pined for that missed opportunity.
I really want Casio to bring out the AA-85 again :( AMAZING Watch that is :P + I just ordered the Casio AF-20W-1AEF(silly long name) :D There was 1 left today on the Casio uk store 👍
i have the number 4 (DB-33W) since i was 8 years old. still working but it turns off after some days. i dont know whats wrong with it. i wore it 13 years before it failed. my sister has the casio DB-30, witch is basically the same watch.
AA-85 and similar, AE20/21/22, GM's and AX's were the some of the best when I was young. Casio would make a few serious nostalgia sales if they brought back those. Same if Seiko brought back some of thier old digitals.
My dad had the steel game20 watch with the rocket game. I was always bugging him to let me play it. I'm sure at some point he just gave it to me, and I probably broke it or lost it. I'd completely forgotten those memories or that watch existing until now.
I'd love to see the come back of film watch too. There are other variants like FS-02 that's even cooler than the one shown in the video. It can also store up to 30 phone numbers and has interesting animations in some modes (the FS-02 has a running man in stopwatch, some other variants have animations at the full minute).
I wore a blue thunder for over 20 years. In the end, the case was so scuffed, it was scratching my wrist and so I reluctantly stopped wearing it. If they were to re-issue it, I’d buy another one in a heartbeat.
I had a watch that I loved and missed somewhere back a decade ago when I was a kid. Now just with your thumbnail I got to know that it was casio Fs-03em-4 😅😅😅 and I'm missing my lost watch now.
It varies. Entry level watches generally have 3 buttons, example if they only have alarm, date and stopwatch. If they have extra functions such as world time as in the AE1200, then they have 4.
Go to 9:15. Is it any wonder that this is the watch that everyone immediately goes to? CASIO! We ALL want the AA-85! We all saw "Blue Thunder" and love this thing! PLEASE reissue it, instead of stuff we don't want! (I won't lie - I'm intrigued by that CGW-Cosmophase, too!)
Back in the early 90s I was still schooling and I remember watching at Casio watches in Shops I was window shopping. I clearly remember the Cosmo phase and the Moon Graph right in front of my eyes. I wish I had bought them. 😢
Great video ... Casio makes some seriously good watches.. I love the original Casio F100 from around 1977 I really like this watch at 06:14 in this video... I have never seen this model before ... It is superb ..I would love this watch in my collection. Thank you once again for this video ..Superb as always
I’d love to see Casio bring back the TW-7100C solar, titanium, digital watch. It also has its solar panels on the dial. The DW-1400 “Marlin”, with 200m water resistance would be great, too.
Really wish Casio would bring back the AE-11 model 694 AE-11W I had that watch for years my late mum bought it me when I was at school in the 80’s I’m 52 now I had that watch until it literally fell to bits please Casio bring it back.
Really wish Casio would bring back the musical melody watch especially the one that plays happy birthday and jingle bells etc……I have my black resin one from 1985 but won’t wear it in case I scratch it but would love so much to see a rerun of the watch please!!!!!!!!!
I like something similar to the AE-20W module/display design and then they change it with maybe 2 ideas being clever and the base idea from earlier destroyed. Then I feel sad and don't buy a newer edition. How hard is it to not change a lot?
Interesting, that no one seems to miss my favorite Casio watch of all time -- ABX-53 or its bigger brother (which model number I do not recall at the moment)
The film watch series is a great choice for the number one position. My favorite model is the FS-02 with the polar dot-matrix display, which you can switch between an analog (very stylish looking) and a digital view of the time. It has some really fun animations. I have an FS-01 as well, which also has some cool effects. The straps breaking is indeed their biggest problem and these watches are getting more difficult to find. Another problem is the sharp edges of the case wearing down over time. They should re-release it with a metal case. Or someone else could release a metal version of the case, solving the strap problem at the same time. The film watches don't have any sound though, so no alarm or timer functionality. I really lucked out with an alarm clock version of the Cosmo Phase watch. Its functions, as mentioned in the video, are really fun.
The FS-02 had a unique display alright. Shame that they were so limited in supply and sold for only a short period. You're right about the straps being the main weak point, the slide-in straps look nice but replacements can't be found. I didn't know that other models in the range didn't have sound, luckily my FS-03 & FS-04 does come with an alarm.
There's a little mistake. Film Watches are not only ana-digi. I have a model only digital with the display in vertical (yeah, a pain in the ass to read it out!), FS-06, and others references was digital only. Coolest looking imho!
I wish Casio would re-issue the Marlin styles again. It was simple with usable features. They were everywhere in the mid 80s. I always loved the time being displayed while cycling through every mode. Seems like everyone had a Casio of some type back then. These days, I dont see many on people's wrists. Casio, if you're reading this...please go back to basics and bring back the Marlins!!!

You mention that AL180 was made in all metal case. I can t fin anything specific online about an AL180 case made of steel. Do you bave a specific answer about the version made of steel case?
I want Casio to bring back watches that are made of real metal, NOT silver painted plastic. Which always rubs off after a short time.
They’ve been producing them for a while.
@@user-ib5mx8ro4k hardly, there are only a handful of steel case digital watches and they're all quite up there in terms of price.
I've said this on a few videos they always reissue in shitty sprayed plastic if they ever do bring back the digital marlin it's got to be stainless steel because it just won't last and I would rather pay that bit extra for a proper stainless steel case
I wish they would bring back the ae 91w. Such a unique and handsome watch
They have A1000 and A1100
The Cosmo Phase and Moon Graph are my grail Casios. I would love a reissue.
I was hunting for them for almost a year and finally scored a Cosmo fro 350 bucks and lucked out on the moon graph for just 130 bucks.
I wish wearing two watches at the same time wasn't as frown upon as I would do that all the time haha.
My current grail watch is my FS-05 film watch.
And their sibling the W60U World time watch
I wish they would reissue the original Casio databanks. Don’t be fooled by the ones you can get now. These things were absolutely incredible! World time and a schedule that would scroll a message at the alarm time plus a phone book! Just amazing!
Look up the DBC-32. They are easy to get hold of.
I had the Blue Thunder watch back in the day, and I loved it. It disappeared from my wrist during a motorcycle accident, I'd buy a reissue in a heartbeat!
I looooooooove my CA53W. People think it's a smart watch and I'm like nah it's better than that. 😅
Same here!
I totally agree on the game watch, I'd wish a few could come back as a nostalgias piece. I remember having the Nelsonic Space attacker in the early eighties, I'd totally would grab a reissue of that one if a manufacture would produce one.
I spent hours back in the 80s-90s playing with the car racing watch. I would buy it the minute they reissue one of those.
That cosmophase is sick
Definitely Casio need to reissue their Game Watch such as GD-9 and Casio melody H104... 😊
Solid list. Reissued Cosmo Phase and Moon Phase in metal would be a blast!
Heck yeah, when I see back catalogue items that are this cool, just waiting to be reissued, I’m convinced that Casio doesn’t like money.
So many cool watches 😮😮😮 I want them all, just looking at old catalogs is mind blowing, other brands make digital watches but casio has so many flavors omg❤ great content again sir, much love from Colombia
vintage casio remind us of the future we didn't get
lmao I just got hooked lol
All we got was wretched social media-I want my flying cars, gosh darnit!
Japan has been living in the year 2000 since 1980.
Love this comment!
Bought a Film Watch replica for 3 bucks. Would definitely want a re release this is beautiful.
Did you get it from a website? I would like the strap.
I just love solar.
also the AX-250 the Melody ones, the CMD-40, and make the Calculator Databank Bluetooth for modern days!
I'd love to see the Casio Game GM-40 and their series reissued, used to have one in the early 90s but it was stolen, they sell for over £2000 these days.
Wow
Great video on a keen interest of mine. With there being so many Casio watch models out there, it's a joy to find new classics I have never heard of! Top trumps my friend
Appreciate your comment 👍
I had the AL180....but it was har to charge it in Sweden, with 6 months of darkness, lol. The Marlin Casio was on display in a store, in water, we admired it a lot. :-)
The dbx 112 needs to come back. Dennis nedry wears it in jurassic park.
Good Revisited Classics, thank you for the efforts in making such informative Videos
I Appreciate the nice comment.
I had a Marlin on a rubber strap when I was a kid I actually found it in a kids amusement ride at the shops, loved that thing I would buy 1 in a heartbeat.

I know how you feel. Casio, please reissue the AL-180.
All of these are absolutely lovely.
I really want Casio to bring out the AA-85 again
:( AMAZING Watch that is :P + I just ordered the Casio AF-20W-1AEF(silly long name) :D There was 1 left today on the Casio uk store 👍
I remember a classmate of mine having the Cosmophase watch. I thought it was so cool. (And I still do.) I was wearing the AL-180 at the time.
i have the number 4 (DB-33W) since i was 8 years old. still working but it turns off after some days. i dont know whats wrong with it. i wore it 13 years before it failed.
my sister has the casio DB-30, witch is basically the same watch.
Cosmophase and moongraph being reissued in square version is my casio wet dream
@@thedawnoftheblackhearts2745 😂

The 56QS is my favorite Casio watch, and I would buy a couple of them right away if they made them again.
I had the AA-85 when I was 14. CASIO, please reissue this model.
The Casio Melody Alarm would also be a good candidate to bring back.
Casio 827 tgw 10 trigraph . I used to have that model in the 90’s early 2000’s. Great watch
Los de juego… y el Casio Carita .. eran lo maximo..!!!
¡trae de vuelta los relojes de juego Casio!
Love the AE22w I had mines since the late 80s but I need to do a restoration on it once I get parts
I would love to see a reissue of the melody alarm models, or if they added a melody alarm to the new models to come.
My dad had the steel game20 watch with the rocket game. I was always bugging him to let me play it. I'm sure at some point he just gave it to me, and I probably broke it or lost it. I'd completely forgotten those memories or that watch existing until now.
Moonphase reissue would be insane I hope we see that. I am however holding out hope for a full steel f91.
Also we need W-11, W-720, FB-52W and F-28... and other awesome models 😆
There was the cm which could control different infra red things like ac units and tvs
I'd like to see a reissue of Databanks with built-in DTMF beepers.
#10 The Marlin. Absolutely!!! That would be my #1.
I'd love to see the come back of film watch too. There are other variants like FS-02 that's even cooler than the one shown in the video. It can also store up to 30 phone numbers and has interesting animations in some modes (the FS-02 has a running man in stopwatch, some other variants have animations at the full minute).

FS-00 or FS-21 (diagonal displays make sense - less arm movement required - and good for driving)
I had a watch that I loved and missed somewhere back a decade ago when I was a kid. Now just with your thumbnail I got to know that it was casio Fs-03em-4 😅😅😅 and I'm missing my lost watch now.
The Film Watch FS-03 rules! They need to bring it back.
Number 1 pick is so cool. Hope they do re-issue of it
Casio always goes for the three button setting in most of their digital watches instead of four like other brands do they?
Tell me why I feel the GD-B500S is the Gshock version of the Casio film watch.
The Film Watch is stunning and would be a huge hit like the new ana-digi 800.
Back in the early 90s I was still schooling and I remember watching at Casio watches in Shops I was window shopping. I clearly remember the Cosmo phase and the Moon Graph right in front of my eyes. I wish I had bought them. 😢
I would love to see the Cosmo Phase brought back. The original is selling them for silly prices now. Please Casio.
Great video ... Casio makes some seriously good watches.. I love the original Casio F100 from around 1977
I really like this watch at 06:14 in this video... I have never seen this model before ... It is superb ..I would love this watch in my collection.
Thank you once again for this video ..Superb as always
Cheers Brian.
they should bring back the cfx-200 and the cosmo phase I love them and plan to get them on the second hand market at somepoint
wow... some of these models look amazing. I want casio to rerelease the W726
Very cool selection. Great review!
I’d love to see Casio bring back the TW-7100C solar, titanium, digital watch. It also has its solar panels on the dial. The DW-1400 “Marlin”, with 200m water resistance would be great, too.
Wish they would make a G Shock King 2. Updated module new colorways
Really wish Casio would bring back the AE-11 model 694 AE-11W I had that watch for years my late mum bought it me when I was at school in the 80’s I’m 52 now I had that watch until it literally fell to bits please Casio bring it back.
So much nostalgia and memories. We were all wearing Casios in school.
Really wish Casio would bring back the musical melody watch especially the one that plays happy birthday and jingle bells etc……I have my black resin one from 1985 but won’t wear it in case I scratch it but would love so much to see a rerun of the watch please!!!!!!!!!
Great choice Paul.
Glad to see the Casio 103 AA-85 on the list.
We haven’t gotten a solid LCA watch from Timex or Casio. Hoping they can make it right.
I sorely miss the graphing features on the Casios of that era
The Comos watch and Moon Phase are siblings to my all time favourite the W 60U which as an oval globe instead of clearly this body needs to come back.
For me the AE9W is the holy grail. I would love to see a reissue of that. Nice list though.
It would be nice to see more LCA models returning.
I need the MIS-101 and MIS-102 Mission watches.
I like something similar to the AE-20W module/display design and then they change it with maybe 2 ideas being clever and the base idea from earlier destroyed. Then I feel sad and don't buy a newer edition. How hard is it to not change a lot?
it would have been nice if the LF-20W had more printed graphics on the dial like the original AE20W alright.
Casio needs to bring back the AX series watches from the 80's with the fine second and minute analog displays and melody alarms.
Interesting, that no one seems to miss my favorite Casio watch of all time -- ABX-53 or its bigger brother (which model number I do not recall at the moment)
It certainly has an extraordinary LCD display. Must be quite rare and I can see where the AE1200 got it's inspiration from.
I just got my a1000 & a1100. Recently i know that a1100 is reissued from 52qs. So, what is A1000 reissued from?
I would love the Blue Thunder watch
Love the film watch, fingers crossed for that to be reissued.
Oh no way- bring back the FM-band walkie-talkie watch at :35!!! That was beyond cool!!
*edit 3*
The Cosmophase!!! Bring it back now!
Nice Vintage Watches
I had a Veritas digital watch in the early 80's that played different tunes.
The film watch series is a great choice for the number one position.

They should also release again W720. It was my favourite as a teenager.
That is a very nice looking model.
These new Casio smart watches could have a sneaky game installed on them. 😂
The Cosmophase is awesome
I'd like to see them reissue the casio at-550 janus finger trace calculator watch from 1982-83 🤓
I want a reissue of the casio melody more that anything
Plllllllllllllease bring back the AA-85. I had one when I was 17 but I lost it in the snow (a snowball fight).
They should bring back the Futurist line.
The Future is here😅
I've never thrown away even the most worn out CASIO that I've had. I collect them as a part of my personal history.
Loved these watches
Casio was a craze those day s .
The 50 meters marlin can be misleading?
AE-22W is really cool!
There's a little mistake. Film Watches are not only ana-digi. I have a model only digital with the display in vertical (yeah, a pain in the ass to read it out!), FS-06, and others references was digital only. Coolest looking imho!
Yes there were many varieties. One model even played animations on the display. I kept it simple for the sake of brevity.
I want a AE 21W re release
How to check this is real casio or fake one? Please
W60-U my favorite
I wish Casio would re-issue the Marlin styles again. It was simple with usable features. They were everywhere in the mid 80s. I always loved the time being displayed while cycling through every mode. The perfect casio watches list does not exi....🤯
The one with infrared
Casio Melody alarm should come back.
Dear Casio, I will instantly buy at least 4 of those the moment they come out. DO IT
The cfx-200 scientific calculator watch MUST be brought back
It's kinda hard to get Casio made in Japan. I was able to get one by luck 🤞
merci pour la video. Je possède une cosmophase et je ne savais pas qu'elle avait pris tant de valeur.
